Beautiful hotel located right in the bay. Rooms are comfortable with great views of either the marina or the bay. Marina side you can see the sunrises, bay side the sunset. Lively hotel bar. Several dining options within walking distance. Hotel restaurant was delicious with a nice selection of offerings. Pool and workout center are minimal although the pool area does have a small hot tub.

My husband and I booked a room overlooking the bay for a 2 day stay with our dog at the Sheraton. We were given a room on the second floor next to the banquet room. Little did we know that there was going to be a wedding both nights that we were there. The music was very loud and played until 11 pm. Our rooms view was of the roof top and brick wall with a spot light. The hotel advertised dog friendly but they only had a 2 foot wide strip of grass bordering their entrance. We had to walk to the Mariott next door for our dog to do her business. We paid through hotels.com and included 2 breakfast with our stay. It didnt mentioned that it would only be the Grab and Go which is not in.the restaurant. We were told that our breakfast was for $18 per person for each day. That was fine except the second day, they only had breakfast sandwiches to offer. They were out of everything else. That is unexceptable. There was no accommodation even though we paid in advance. They didn't offer to deduct the $18 x 2 from our bill so we can have decent breakfast or offer to let us eat in the restaurant. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that our room was very clean but we would never stay there again. Do yourself a favor and don't book this hotel if you are traveling with your dog and don't include breakfast cause you never know what you will get or if you get anything at all.

Arriving at this property there was no dining area available. There was no mention of construction prior to reservation. Was woken up at 830 am with the entire room shaking when I called down to the desk to ask for a working iron board I told the front desk clerk about the noise and she told me that there was work on the third floor, I was on the 5th and felt like it was in my room. She did apologize, but it was totally unacceptable. I want to be compensated for this. I traveled from Boston to Cleveland to Erie for a wedding. I was only there for 1 night and it was not to my expectations. I would have stayed at a different hotel had I known.

The Sheraton’s currently undergoing refurbishment and the restaurant’s closed, but we were given a room upgrade to lake view and free parking. Newly refurbished room was fabulous! We walked via the sky bridge (all indoors) to the Marriott next door for supper. Apart from the inconvenience of no restaurant we had a great stay.

The hotel was under construction and this was not mentioned anywhere during the booking process!!! Noise and dust everywhere!! The staff told us that Bonvoy (or whatever their umbrella organization is) told the hotel NOT TO indicate anywhere about the construction. Very disappointing!!

Very clean lobby and grounds. Well maintained inside and outside. The shower stall was old and had a dirty door track. Some debris and heavy dust around the air conditioning unit, but overall a very nice room, great view, all the amenities anyone could want close by.

They did not change the sheets on the bed. They picked up the towels off the floor and folded them up and put them back on the counter. We were missing a bottle of perfume. Prada housekeeping was terrible place was filthy looking top dollar for the room paid and had to pay for parking, horrible place to stay find someplace else very ghetto should look for better staff

It was nice to have room service but the food didn't match the prices. Food was bland and tasted like it was pre maid and/or frozen. Housekeeping didn't come once. One day we left and came back and our doorbwas prompt open. Luckily nothing was missing but our garbage was still full, linens still dirty and no new towels. Coffee was never refilled or sugar. Shower head only worked on one setting and leaked. Windows didn't look like they've been cleaned in years. For the price it did not live up to what was expected.

This was our third stay at this hotel. While I appreciated the updated bathroom compared to our visit two years ago, cleanliness was lacking — there was someone else’s hair on the sink, which was off-putting. The fitted sheets on the queen beds didn’t stay in place and kept slipping off after just an hour in bed. At brunch, the hostess seemed noticeably unfriendly, though the food itself was quite good. Considering we booked two rooms at $450 per night (totaling $1,850 for two nights), I expected a higher standard of comfort and service. Not sure we’ll choose the Sheraton again next time we’re in town.

Facilities - engineering has not checked or did not clean the HVAC filters. No exhaust ventilation in bathroom. Not enough light in the bathroom. Housekeeping - the lower shower door track needs deep cleaning. Shower door needs adjusted, it does not roll easily.

Toilet in my room leaked all over the bathroom floor. The air conditioning unit was the loudest thing ever. Woke me up often in the night. It was supposedly a newly redone room. Odd that they would choose such a loud intrusive unit.

I paid for a marina view. That same day, I ended up adding a room and asked that we be near each other. Without warning, the front desk girl gave us rooms next to each other but with a view of a complete wall of air conditioning unit. I asked for some kind of compensation considering i paid for a marina view and she just kept saying "well you are on the side of the marina," ah yes, with ZERO view of the actual marina!!! She was not helpful at all!! We had already gotten situated and it would have been too stressful for my large family to move at that point. She should have said that she could put us together, but with a view of a complete WALL!! VERY INCONSIDERATE.

Disappointed that when we booked and paid for a King room with Marina views thru Expedia the hotel had no rooms left and changed the room to a 2 beds (smaller doubles) with a lake view. The hotel itself is excellent. No longer will book thru Expedia, as this has happened twice on our trip 😡

Construction was a mess. Main issue is that I booked a king bed room with bay view. What we got was two smaller beds with a terrible view of some panels on the roof. The excuse was that there were two groups there so we got bumped off what we requested. Don’t know that I would stay again.

The hotel was lovely. I had a terrific room overlooking the lake. The bed was comfy. The room was well appointed and very clean. I had a wonderful dinner in their restaurant. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was fine—clean and updated. We had our pets with us and were disappointed that there was literally no where for them to go to the bathroom anywhere around the hotel. But the main disappointment for us was the noise above our room. We were on the 7th floor and apparently there is a nightclub on the 8th floor. There was no noise insulation between our room and the club. We heard every time a chair scrapped across the floor. This noise went on past 1am. We called twice to the front desk and first they did not explain that there was a club above. They just said they would look into the noise. The second time I called—at 12am—they explained there was a “lounge and club” on the 8th floor and we would just have to deal with it. It would have been helpful to know that the first time we called down. The young woman at the front desk was unapologetic and unsympathetic that we could not sleep. I am very surprised to receive this lack of service from a Marriott property. We will not be back.

Upon check in we were told that they had overbooked and did not have a room for us. This was absolutely inexcusable. We paid over $500 for this reservation. I never dreamed for a 5 star Hotel this could happen. This was my first and last time I will ever reserve a stay with any Sheraton.

Our stay began with a friendly and warm greeting from Kevin at the front desk. Kevin was super helpful and made us feel at home. I was exhausted from a long drive and Kevin was super efficient getting us checked in. I dropped a bag unloading our car and Kevin tracked it down and called us to reunite us with our bag. He’s a superstar!! The room was great although the phone handset wasn’t charged. We were able to use the speaker phone though so no big deal. We had a drink in the bar along with our two dogs. The servers were so friendly and accommodating and brought water for our dogs, along with goodie bags when we were leaving! The only downside was the burger ordered from room service which was tiny and didn’t come rare as ordered. The rest of our order, a Caesar salad and shrimp cocktail were great. My family has been staying here for years and it just keeps getting better. The staff is always lovely and the recent renovation is great. It’s relatively expensive for the area but well worth it because the whole staff consistently goes above and beyond for their guests.

Hotels website & Sheraton Erie website gave the option in a package to have a 2 hour FREE late check out. This is the option that we selected to make out reservation. I should have mentioned this at check-in , however a tour bus was also checking in making for a busy & a lengthy check-in line. Check-in staff was kind but it waws obvious they were a bit overwhelmed. I called to the front desk later to inquire about the time of late check out explaining this was what was offered. Devin was unaware of any late check out option from either Hotels website or Sheraton website and would only honor this if we showed him where this was written - so we did. Check in was very slow, only 1 person on duty at the front desk at 4 which is probably the busiest time. After check in we tried to get in touch with the guest services and no one ever answered. We tried for 45min to an hour. This is the first time I was on the club level and the dinner experience wasn’t the best. Lack of food in the first 45 minutes for all the people that showed up and replenishment was very very slow.

The room was excellent, but our check in process was not great. I had booked a double queen room and upon arrival, they sent us to a king room. When I returned to the front desk, they said they didn’t have a double queen room and could get use a roll away bed for the king room. I explained that this was unacceptable. We had just driven 3.5 hours, it was late, and we had to get up early for my child’s athletic competition. They then magically found a double queen room. I am not sure how you can book a room, but they don’t actually hold the room. I am thankful they rectified the situation, but it shouldn’t take a rise in my blood pressure to do so.

I loved that fact that I had booked a room facing the bay and that's exactly what I got. I loved that the parking garage is attached to the main hotel building with easy access. And parking was free! The front desk people were so helpful and friendly. A huge shout out to Kevin for his exemplary, professional customer service! Looking forward to returning.

Could not check in at 4. Room not ready was told due to short staff —with attitude. Was told it would be okay to leave car in garage even though check out at 930-10am while I walked around and grab a early lunch before leaving between 130-200 wasn’t told i would be charge more than the garage fee I was already charge had to charge additional$90. At the price I paid for room I feelyourstaffis very much lacking. I will probably never stay there again

Stayed for the Tall Ships parade. Hotel took it upon itself to increase their early check in fee to $50 because of the event? How does a corporation feel it is good business to rob their customers just because they have an opportunity to do so? Service from the bartender(s) was poor. They were totally uninterested in providing any type of service? The staff definitely didn’t bring their A game for such a popular fun event in Erie. For $450 for a one night stay, I was underwhelmed. Overall experience was poor. Hopefully they will improve.

It was a great stay at what I’m sure is one of the nicer hotels in Erie PA. I was a little surprised to see there isn’t that much within walking distance… but the place is great and the bay is beautiful.

I loved our stay here. The people at the front desk made my husbands birthday a very special one! The view from our room was amazing. The restaurant was amazing and everyone that worked there were so kind and friendly! The location was great! Close to do many bars and restaurants!!

Put in the newly remodeled section room 231. The walls vibrated all day and night with the air conditioning condenser. I actually thought we were next to laundry with the noise and constant vibrating wall. This room was tiny, half shower, poor lighting, no garage bags, pillows sucked, no nightstand on one side of bed. One chair. Room service is advertised in room and online and was reserved and paid for and nothing was received. Guest service didn’t know room service was no longer offered by new onsite restaurant. Given a voucher make up for it. Really defeats the ROOM SERVICE advertising. By the time it got figured out, breakfast was done and that was the only voucher provided. No complimentary coffee or water in the lobby. In room coffee is terrible. Highway robbery for a 2 night crappy stay.

Hotel is well located right in Lake Erie and the rooms are newly renovated. I’ve stayed here several times and it’s consistently great. My only complaint is that although the room service food was very good, there was a $10 delivery fee and $5 service charge which increased the price of my meal by over 20%. I tipped the person who delivered on top of those fees since it wasn’t clear that those fees pertained to any gratuities. I’ll be back but likely won’t order room service again!

The Sheraton’s currently undergoing refurbishment and the restaurant’s closed, but we were given a room upgrade to lake view and free parking. Newly refurbished room was fabulous! We walked via the sky bridge (all indoors) to the Marriott next door for supper. Apart from the inconvenience of no restaurant we had a great stay.

Comfortable, clean, spare, room. Great view. Small but nice pool and hot tub. A few things were amiss. For three people in two queen beds there was only one towel hook in the bathroom in which the sink was plugged. Coffee for coffee maker but no tea (that had to be purchased). No breakfast included (which I knew) no coffee/tea service in the lobby, just the hotel restaurant (limited and pricey) and a coffee shop (slow and out of two of the things we ordered). I travel often and widely. For the $600+ price tag, I expected much more.

The room was super clean, the staff were helpful. Didnt get to enjoy the bar and the pool was freezing at only 3'4" the whole way around. The hot tub was a jacuzzi and not a hot tub, also 3'4" deep but super warmer then warm, but not melt skin hot. The shower pressure was terrible and supplied shampoo was so watered down it ran off my hand faster than getting it to my hair, not to mention how small the shower/tub was to stand in. Definitely a nice hotel with cleanliness, etc but not worth five star pricing.
