One elevator was shut down for repairs which only allowed one elevator for a 10 floor motel. Half the time we had to take the stairs to & from our room, because other floors were so busy using it or it was stalled on other floors. Climbing stairs with your luggage & items was not an easy task after the extreme heat, being my wife & I are over 65 yrs. old. I wish we'd have known this before we booked.

Loved that Houlihan's Restaurant was connected to the hotel. It was a better deal going through expedia than going through the hotel. I saved $60 be booking through expedia! The workout room was good size and well equipped for working out. The rooms were very nice! They gave you warm cookies at check in which were delicious and a nice treat upon arrival! I'd go back just for the cookies!

Was shocked room didn’t include microwave and mini fridge. Indoor pool area was miserably hot and pool bottom cut up the kids feet. Tile around indoor and outdoor pool was hazardous, so slippery, difficult to walk across without losing balance.

It was nearly impossible to find the stairs because they weren't marked and one of the elevators were broken so it took a really long time to get an elevator. When we got up to our room on the 5th floor after carrying all our stuff up several flights of stairs, our key card didn't work. We had to take everything back to the front desk and have them fix our card. The area around the hotel seems a little sketchy so I wouldn't necessarily choose this area again. The room was pretty nice though.

Nice lobby but rooms are showing their age. Bathtub /shower needed to be replaced or have a deep clean. Mattress was worn down but overall the room was clean. Tv cable was out Saturday evening but was working again Sunday morning. Parking is very limited. Staff was friendly.

Hotel has recently been remodeled and looks nice, but I’ve stayed there in the past and the mold smell is still in the room we stayed. And Covid is over! The rooms should be cleaned and sheets changed daily.

There was either feces or blood on the night light in the bathroom. Other than that the room seemed very clean. There’s no continental breakfast but they do offer breakfast from anywhere from 9-13 bucks. Very convenient area.

The room was in need of upgrades, but outdated doesn't bother me much. I was, however, upset to find that the bedsheets on one bed didn't look clean. Dust was visible between and around the furniture and there was noticeable mold on some of the bathroom walls. I typically love DoubleTree properties but would have to wait until a remodel to give this one another shot.

I always enjoy staying here as I'm there multiple days once a year. The service is great and the rooms are nice. I do wish they would upgrade their tv service as it is out anytime there's a storm.

Asked for early check in and got there and was told I’d have to wait more than an hour as the room wasn’t ready. Then when I got to the room it was 58 degrees, just as cold as outside! Ridiculous. The room was clean and large so no issue there. The elevator was operated by using a room card which I liked for added security. The bed was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. Check out was at noon and housekeeping came and kept knocking on the door from 9 o’clock until 11:30 when we left. No one to print final receipt at front desk either so had to leave the key cards on the desk.

We were on a cross country road trip and stopped here for one night. Houlihan’s restaurant is in the lobby which was super convenient because we were so tired. Beautiful sunrise from our room on an upper floor. Staff super helpful and friendly at the front desk. We would stay here again.

Double Tree is a standard hotel across the board, which is why I generally book it. The beds are always comfy, the hotel is always clean. My only complaint about this location is that there was no mini fridge or microwave and the heat / air did not work. It was too warm in the room. Other than that, it was clean and comfy.

Hotel is in great condition and looks like the rooms were recently renovated. Our bed was hard as a rock and that made sleeping really difficult. Won't book this hotel again.

The staff were great but the room they had us in the Heater was running all nite and sounded like a motorcycle running. When I complained to the front desk in the morning they were dismissive and stated there wasnt anything they could do because I booked thru Hotels.com

We paid for 2 hotel rooms thru the Expedia site. Additionally we called 4 times the day of the reservation to confirm the room because we were driving clear across the country. We even had 2 connected rooms assigned. However, at 12midnight we got a call and were told that the reservation had been canceled and they had oversold the hotel. They said they were going to move us to another hotel. We refused and told them we were meeting members of our party at the hotel who had also booked rooms there. The hotel then offered to give us 1 room in the hotel and one at another hotel. We of course said no that would not work either. They then magically had a room open up and they could now accommodate us. However our minor daughter who have to be in her own room. Consequently, my husband slept in one room and I slept with our daughter. There was no refrigerator. No Microwave, there was mold on the ceiling and vents. No cookies. You had to pay for coffee. But the bonus event? They refused to move our daughter next to us the next day and they then assigned a total stranger to my daughters room. That’s right. A grown man attempted to come into our room. Someone at the desk gave him a room key and even wrote the room number on the key card cover. The next morning they told my daughter she could not have anymore danishes because she had taken too many. Never stay here.They would not give us credit for Hilton honors points either. Nightmare.

Upon check-in, the front desk attendant was fairly rude and seemed angry that a local resident booked a room. If you don’t want my money, I won’t come back, but to say that no hotel in Springfield would rent a room to a local (something they actually said) is laughable. And the A/C in the room was not working properly.

I stayed from Friday until Monday and they did not clean my room once, even after mentioning it. They failed to handle issues with bedding. We had to keep contacting them instead of them just taking care of it. I didn’t feel valued as a paying patron.

It was okay. Nothing superior. The older lady at the breakfast restaurant was pretty vocal on Saturday about how unhappy she is there. Rooms are outdated but I believe they are remodeling. Parking is terrible if there’s an event. They really need to separate that. Have designated parking for hotel guests and a different area for events.

Desk didn’t give me my breakfast voucher. No room service menu’s in the room, Restaurant attached to the hotel said to go online to order food but I would have to pay a delivery fee like Uber eats or door dash. Elevator service was slow because one of the two lobby cars was out of service. Just didn’t feel welcome. Breakfast at Gracies was very good and their staff was excellent.

This property was a great value for the amenities offered. It is in a great location that is close to everything of interest. Staff was super friendly and excellent paid breakfast options. It reminded me.if an Embassy Suites when we arrived.
