The hotel is beautiful, clean and service is kind. Unclear situation about AC (open windows worked for us). Directly outside is a lively restaurant scene. BE AWARE ACCESSIBILITY POOR!!! Parking is an issue as this is centrally located with no short term parking to even drop people/luggage. You also have a long stair case to main floor, another to the breakfast area, and most likely to rooms.

Great price, great location, nice and clean room. Very central. Only issue was finding parking if you rent or have a car. But thats not this locations fault. No elevator due to it being a beautiful historic building. Other than that this location offers breakfast and staff was helpful and friendly! Our stay was great.

Great location to the main square. With some rooms having views of the square and the Brasov mountain sign. Parking is definitely not convenient or near by. But that's not an exception for this hotel. Would stay here again.

The location is wonderful - right on the Council Square with a view of the plaza & Council Tower. Very convenient for visiting the Old Town & shopping. Staff is very welcoming & helpful. There is no lift, but the room was spacious & comfortable. The shower was a large oddly shaped tub with a handheld sprayer. The breakfast was nice, & the staff very friendly. Overall, would highly recommend!

Fiquei num quarto voltado pra praça e no Natal foi lindo! Muito confortável o quarto. O estacionamento é uns 200 metros do hotel, dei muita sorte de estar saindo um carro na hora que cheguei pois vaga destinada ao hotel são somente duas se não me engano. O café da manhã foi simples. Nice looking room, air con was strong, but not in the downstairs area, the bed area was very stuffy. No curtains on several of the small windows had no curtains (not overlooked) but let in lots of light. Bed was a bit creaky, but you’d expect that with an old place like this. Generally good and I’d stay again. Shower door was broken and the cleaner had left half a drunk can of coke on the side when we arrived. Good choice in the mini bar. Excellent location in a lush place.

I was very disappointed in the room that I had. When I walked into the room it was very small and had zero character. The bedspread and toss pillows looked filthy. The location was great and the staff was kind, but it didn’t make-up for the awful room. My friend had a room in the loft area and really liked it. Luckily, for me it was only 2 long nights!

While the location right in the center of the town square is unbeatable, there was a downside to it. It was SOOOO loud! We were in a room on the second floor that was insanely hot, and it was mid-November! It was so hot that we had to sleep with the window open and were still warm. And at 6am they started setting up for the day and were dragging metal across the concrete right under our window and were yelling at one another. Then right at 7am the church bells starting ringing. It was so loud it was almost comical with the bells, the yelling, the scraping. I half-expected a marching band to come through. Needless to say, we didn't get a good night's sleep. The rooms are very old with furniture that is 50+ years old. That wasn't a huge deal but it certainly didn't add to the experience.

Casa Wagner’s location is truly unbeatable—right in the heart of Brașov’s main square, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. However, our experience with the room was mixed. The room we were initially given on the 3rd floor had a bad smell, and unfortunately, there wasn’t an alternative available that first night. We were downgraded temporarily, but the staff was accommodating and moved us to a similar but much better-conditioned room for the next two nights. Overall, while the location and staff were great, the initial room issue was disappointing. If the room quality were more consistent, this could be a fantastic option for staying in Brașov.

I can't recommend this hotel enough. The location is ideal, with the front door on Piața Sfatului, the main square in the heart of the old town. You can easily walk to restaurants and shops and see the highlights in the area. What was really delightful was the incredibly helpful and attentive staff. They are at the front desk 24 hours and answered all of our questions. They had a lovely note and gift in our room to celebrate our anniversary. They checked on us whenever they would see us to make sure we were enjoying our stay and had everyone we need. And the hotel was delightful, rustic but very clean and with so much light. It was convenient to have the restaurant attached to the back, and the breakfast was really good. We can't wait to visit again.

The only downside to our visit was the fact we were in the attic room and had a flight of stairs from reception and a small winding staircase to navigate to our room. If you are a tea drinker, I recommend you take your own as the hotel does not provide this in your room. The hotel itself is very comfortable and clean and the friendly staff are always on hand should you need assistance. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely be going back for another visit ☺️👌

Tatsächlich war die Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge, zumindest ausschnittsweise, hervorragend. Man hat den Eindruck, dass Brasov tatsächlich eine Waldstadt ist. Die Zimmer, die ich bewohnte, waren urgemütlich, es dominierte Holzoptik, die angesichts des leider verregneten und kalten Wetters allein schon Wärme vermittelte. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Hauptplatz der Altstadt. Abgesehen, dass das hauseigene Restaurant exzellent ist, bietet die unmittelbare Umgebung eine bunte Auswahl an Lokalen. Das Stadtmusuem liegt zwei, drei Gehminuten gegenüber, die Schwarze Domkirche ist knapp fünf Gehminuten entfernt. Einfach ideal.

The only real positive of this property was the location. It’s located right in the heart of the large city square so very walkable, especially for the Christmas market. The beds were VERY uncomfortable. If you are unfortunately assigned a room with the window facing the restaurant, your room will likely smell like old cabbage. We tried to go downstairs for an early dinner and were shooed away by the host because we didn’t have a reservation. The breakfast was very overpriced and not worth the 70 lei. I think there are better options available to travelers in Braşov.
