Great hotel Pros Great property, beach, restaurants, room Staff was outstanding Pool excellent Gym OK Cons At least 2 elevators were not working At last a couple of equipments in the gym need maintenance The coffee house opens 10am (I think it should open 6:30am) They need to add more tents and umbrellas at the beach and by the pool

Rooms were very clean, mini fridge stocked every day. The restaurants had lots of variety and were the best we've been to in a long time on vacations in Mexico. People mixed well and were very friendly. By far this is a favorite resort and we will be coming back often.

The hotel is dated so you get what you pay for. The only reason we stayed at BlueBay was for a friend’s wedding or I would not have chose this resort. Food is average but not great. The only good thing about the resort was the staff. We booked two rooms because we had our kids with us. The rooms are dated and could use a refresher. The kids room was moist and humid the whole time. They’d go to bed in damp sheets. One night their sink fell out onto the floor, thankfully no one was hurt. Mine and my husbands room wasn’t as humid as the kids room. Our toilet constantly ran which was annoying to try to sleep, even with the door closed. One night we came back and our whole room was flooded. The maid had flushed our garbage down the toilet and it got plugged. The main pool is pretty big but the lack of loungers was a bit disappointing. You had to get to the pool by 7am with your towel to secure your lounger. If not you’re out of luck. Beach is nice but not very big. Some loungers there but again you have to get there early to secure your spot. There’s definitely spaces they could have put out more loungers. Like is said the staff were great! So friendly! They’re the only thing I thought was good about the resort. I don’t think I’d stay here again.
