Not the first, and won't be the last time I have stayed here. Very cosy pub, good food, friendly staff and comfi bedroom with easy parking. What else could you wish for? On this occasion, I even was able to help them with a beer dispense issue (my previous profession) so a good stay all round. Looking forward to my next stay.

Beautiful quiet location, Plenty of space outside on the patio and also inside . Staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking was very good with an over fill carpark. Food was very good and breakfast was good value and very nice, If anything, the bedrooms were a little on the small side and rooms need a bit of freshening up. All in All we were very happy with our stay and would certainly go again,

Staff very friendly and helpful. Food pleasant and building and the garden and play areas are both interesting. The building retains the charm of its origins but when it gets a bit of redecoration with making good of the noticeable wear and tear on woodwork, window frames and furniture it will be even more attractive for those staying there. The facilities and services, such as the regular provision of clean towels, very comfortable beds etc. were all of a high standard. The nights were peaceful despite the nearby road and overall our stay was very good value for the modest charges.

A good value hotel with excellent service by staff. Corridor areas a bit 'tired' but rooms very comfortable. Lovely old bar with plenty of ale choice! We have now used the hotel 3 times over recent years and will certainly use again.

Fantastic stay. This is the second time there and each time the rooms are very clean. The restaurant has great food and pub on site. Staff are very friendly. Parking is super easy and close to the rooms. It’s a lovely place and I will definitely stay there again.

The olde windmill inn is a great place to stay. The beer garden is lovely with mature tree's and a feel of tranquility. The pub is a lovely old building with lots of character and little nooks to sit in. The food is nice with traditional dishes on the menu and they offer a great cooked breakfast. The staff are so helpful and freindly and really made us feel welcome. The room was really nice , spacious with everything thing you need. We will be staying here again!

Lovely spacious room, very clean, the shower was excellent The staff were very welcoming we had booked bed and breakfast and the breakfast was really great, a good selection well prepared and served at the table. We also chose to eat in the inn on one night and there was a good selection of dishes which were cooked well.

We all enjoyed our stay here, the rooms are a very good size, and the beds were very comfortable All the amenities you would expect were provided. The rooms were very quiet too. We also enjoyed a drink in the bar and we sampled the restaurant too, which we also enjoyed. The only thing we were surprised with, were the stain spots on the bedroom carpets, in both rooms. With beige carpets, spills do show, so some carpet spot cleaning should help the overall image. Having said that would stay again

Very comfortable stay, in a spacious room with a clean en-suite. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good bar and nice food. Here for overnight stay en-route and would definitely return and maybe for a longer stay.

The room was average, could do with sprucing up a little. The bathroom had at least 8 spiders in it on the ceiling so it can’t have been dusted for some time. We had food which was good but out of stock of a lot of the menu when we ate at 7:30pm. The pool table is expensive at £1 a go when it doesn’t always release the balls, has a slant on the table and the cushion is creased, not to mention the room is too small in places even for a short cue. We were told at check in that breakfast was at 7 but it actually started at 7:30am. We had prepaid for breakfast but found that not everything on the breakfast menu was included and there would be an addition surcharge for certain options. The place has character and the staff are friendly but it could have just been a little better.

The room was clean and and warm, the bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water for showers and washing with towels supplied there was plenty of tea and coffee for two. The staff were all very friendly with ample parking. Food was served in the bar from a varied menu and the selections of beers would suit any amount of tastes. Great selections for breakfast the cooked breakfast was excellent and set me up for the day.

Brilliant stay again at the Windmill. Dinner was superb. Room was quiet and well cared for. Like many places it could do with a spruce up but the quality of service and wonderful environment make up for any minor blemishes. Food was amazing. We were staying for St Val’s night and thought it might affect our stay but it was a delicious dinner. Whenever I see a lot of options on a menu I’m concerned the quality might be mediocre. Not here. The quality of the cooking always seems to have been excellent whenever we’ve visited.

Had booked for 3 nights but due to unforseen circumstances couldnt make 1st nite.Contacted hotel arrived lunch time next day. On final biĺl they had deducted 1 nite.So very pleased. Overall very good customer service.

It was ok and that’s about it, staff not overly friendly except the older lady on breakfast duty at end of stay. Food was pretty average, we chose to eat elsewhere after first meal. Breakfast was large and plentiful but cooked option was a bit greasy and couldn’t eat all of it. Room was large, old and tired and in need of an update.

Stayed at this location for 4 nights. Never got to have a drink in all the bars, the "pub" section is large, so are the portions in the many eating areas. The food was excellent and as previously stated were generous in size. The rooms were large and comfortable and supplied with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and even a tea pot along with biscuits and mint sweets. The only fault was due to a leak on the shower and hand basin. Apparently craftsmen are few and far between everywhere. Will certainly use this location again. The staff were always polite, helpful and couldn't do enough to make our enjoyable
