Stayed 2 nights

I must admit, when we drove up I was like "what did I sign up for"? We were debating in the car if we even wanted to get out. We walk into the office and was immediately met with a smell. Not to be mean, but we immediately knew the nationality of the people running the office; if you know, you know. I was booked for two nights, but at this point, I was almost willing to take my loss and just leave. Let me tell you, I'm so glad we decided to just go look at the room. We opened the door and it had such a pleasant smell. The room was clean. It definitely took me by surprise. Where we were pleased with the room, of course it had its bad points. For one, once I pulled the covers back to spray it with lysol, we noticed the bedspread was stained with who knows what. The towels were dingy and there was some type of patch covering up something in the bathtub. We didn't complain to the office about any of it. Other than that, it was a doable stay. For the price I would say it was good. My main thing was the fact that it was clean and smelled pleasant.

Room was not cleaned very well? It had cobwebs on all the light fixtures and we had very small spiders in our bed and on the pillows. There was only 4 of them. The fridge was dirty and the microwave was very old and dirty. But we dusted the sheets and pillows and didn't use either the fridge or microwave. We didn't have time to complain or look for another room bc we had a concert to get to plus it was only for one night. I suggest that the owner double check the rooms before occupancy .

Someone had smoked in the room I was assigned before I arrived. NON SMOKING room. Had office bring spray to clear the smell. I had to ask for more coffee as well. No real amenities other than an Ice machine. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Check in was strange, very small office room. Room was ok. Mattresses were very stiff. Dead spider in the bathroom. No shampoo in the bathroom container. No hair dryer. But that was delivered when we asked. Only had 1 towel for 3 people. Got towels brought when requested. Note on the key package referenced if any disturbances, contact the office. There were none. Just odd note on key envelope. Not an extra bar for security on the door. Which would think would be standard on a room that is open to the parking lot. No breakfast. Was convenient for the purpose of the trip.
