Very convenient for shopping in T Nagar. Breakfast is good if included in your package. Little on the expensive side if breakfast not included. No Pool. Sangeetha restaurant is nearby offering great food. For me, Sangeetha was the main draw.

The hotel has initiated eco friendly initiatives - they serve RO water in Reusable Glass bottles that are labelled with the date of filing in its restaurants The hotel is very clean - Rooms Bathroom and all common areas were Spotlessly clean Towels and Bed linen were Spotless and Crisp Breakfast was Sufficient with amole variety including fresh juices hot items like Dosa Puri Paratha and eggs Will definitely recommend this hotel

room 509 for some reason had wet floors that wouldn't dry. seems like it was recently renovated so it was nice.

Nice rooms (as described), excellent high tech toilet, and room facilities, great staff, helpful and responsive. Comfortable stay. The only thing was that the bathrooms are not specially elderly friendly - it would be nice to have a few support handles in the toilet and bathroom for older people.

The room was clean and spacious. However, there were some renovations going on there noise disturbance through out my stay. One morning i woke to drilling sound in the floor above me and they didn't stop for more than one hour inspite of repeated compliants.

The room didn’t match the price I.e., it wasn’t quite good. And also, there was a construction work going on right next to me. I wasn’t even notified of it when I was checking in neither they changed to a different level. The stay during the day was unpleasant. But the staff was responsive and friendly.

Even though its a old property, the rooms and public area doesn't reveal it. You will feel the hotel is newly renovated. Ask for a room on high floor. Pretty decent sized rooms good enough for a family. Excellent food and service. l will definitely stay at the residency during my next visit to Chennai.

I was hoping to get a quite room with a view. The room was quite but the view was terrible. Also the room felt very claustrophobic with a tiny bathroom that had not been upgraded. The Indian breakfast options were good, and they also offered western options which I did not try. The staff were very friendly and efficient and attended to guests very promptly. They had better rooms, which they did not offer to me.

The room had broken wooden planks, old broken toilet. I tripped over the broken wooden floor and hurt my toe. I asked them to transfer us to The Residency Towers(it was great hotel with nice staff) but they changed our room instead which was still bad. Our stay included breakfast, 1st day I requested for a take away breakfast and they didn't deliver to me as promised. 2nd day I and my wife went to the restaurant to have breakfast, the waitress there was very rude and literally pushed us out. Every waiter, live counter person inside the restaurant were rude and unethical. When my wife asked for water, waitress got mad and said in a very loud tone 'wait.... madam' and she put a glass bottle with a thudding noise. They are interested in serving a set of people only. I and my wife walked out of the restaurant without eating and complained to manager Lakshmi he said he will take care and even mentioned he will write a letter to their management copying us. We stayed at that hotel for another 3 days after that incident but no letter, no one from management contacted us. We didn't feel like eating breakfast there though our room charge included price for breakfast. People at the lobby don't want to help with luggage, interested in tips only. Front office person Pramod doesn't know how to talk and treat guests. Tried calling Front office manager Suresh Kumar S many times, he didn't answer. Expedia PLEASE help others by removing this hotel from listing. AVOID this hotel.

Though I informed cancellation through what’s app to the Hotel management they Collected 2days rent were I occupied and utilised only 7hours .

Excellent service by all staff

My key card did not work properly and it took 2 days to fix. SInk was clogged and they never fixed it. Registration desk was sloppy and unresponsive largely. Very old, dated hotel. Most importantly, Expedia did NOT indicate clearly that this was a 4-start and not a 5-star hotel. That was the biggest flub.

All the staff across all sections of the hotel are very professional and extremely helpful and polite.

Breakfast was great and rooms were good, but we were initially given a room that was already occupied.

I have stayed at this hotel once before for six days. I was totally impressed. That’s why I booked again after 5 years. But this time due to the road works and drainage works outside the hotel made my stay and access absolutely painful.

The property is not user friendly for senoir citizen. Not enough staff at reception for to clear checkin for the room. Breakfast : fruits limitedto only bananna. Otherwise all is ok.

We stayed with a family of 3 for Five nights and the stay was extremely enjoyable. The breakfast they served had good variety of choices and the service of the staffs were very pleasing. I would strongly recommend this property and we would love to come again.

I loved the hospitality. The staff at reception, dining and housekeeping were all so kind and humble. Something can be done about the breakfast buffet though. Only the dessert seemed to change every day. Other than that, I’d definitely stay here again!
