Stayed 4 nights

No Ac in rooms!! Although the description mentions ac included so this is totally a misleading. The staff always try to make excuses they say AC works only on summer time but we stayed at April when the temperatures are already 25 degrees, and windows cannot be open fully, only 20cm. Breakfast was decent, but opened at 7am although their info shows 6:30am and their excuse: “are you sure you go to the right place?” We are not stupid and there is only one restaurant. Overall we were very disappointed

Room was comfortable. The only issue was one couldn't control the temperature, even though there was a thermostat. Staff did their best to work in English. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choices. Parking was available, but a very steep and narrow access. Car front scraped on entry. Access to Metro was only 100 meters away, although very challenged to understand buying a card and what was available.

This is a real value for money hotel. I was on the sixth floor and the room and bathroom were spotless, with the rooms serviced daily. The bed was really comfortable and there was no disturbance from traffic noise at night even though the metro line runs directly outside the hotel. Although admittedly I was at the back of the hotel which would be quiter in any case. The staff were welcoming, professional and extremely helpful with check-in and check-out being effortless. I had an issue with the room safe on arrival (my own fault) and a staff member was dispatched immediately to sort it out for me. My diet has to be gluten and dairy free and the hotel insured that there was gluten free bread for breakfast each morning. I dined in the restaurant on the first night and one of the waiting staff went to great lengths to advise me of what I could and could not eat from the buffet selection and failing there being sufficient choice for me there was always the a la carte menu. The standout feature for me however, is the location of this hotel. It's one minute walk from a metro stop and several bus stops - with connections to trains and the city centre itself only a couple of metro stops away. I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again; should I ever go back to Porto.
