We stayed here after a really long drive, in advance of a day at Durham University. We didn’t really use any facilities as we arrived late and left early but it was great value and the pub downstairs seemed to have a warm, friendly atmosphere.

A lovely hotel. Very nice staff. Very clean. Lovely rooms. Well priced. Just a bit far out of the city centre without any local shops ect around if you needed anything

Room was nice and comfortable. However, the location is listed wrong, this is not in Durham but a 5 minute drive out the city. Also, double check if your room includes breakfast as all correspondence said we had breakfast included but the expedia booking did not.

Firstly, the location in the Hotels.com app is different to the postcode. Staff were incredibly friendly, from check-in, the breakfast, to check-out. Bathroom could do with a really deep clean, likewise tea and coffee station
