Harborside at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina

Beautiful room, view was a little obscured. Loved the area and the food and drinks available at the hotel. The pools and hot tub were great. Walking distance to attractions and water taxi was great.

Everything was in great shape

The facility is showing signs of wear in almost all areas. The proximity to attractions and transportation is great. The staff was professional and courteous. The view of the harbor is a huge plus.

This place was absolutely beaten up. Grounds were not maintained, walls, rooms, hallways etc stained dirty broken and just really bad shape for the price. Things that were offered were not available and if there is any event scheduled, guests are pushed out of those areas over 4 hours before an event when eating lunch in a common area (even though charged an amenities fee on top of the stay by the ownership). Extremely confusing to get on the property and everything listed as “on property” was not accurate as there is an adjoining “higher end” facility which other guests thought was where they were staying as well. First and last time ever. Would have been a memorable 25th anniversary but now it is for all of the wrong reasons. Suggest bite the $$ bullet and stay in Charleston.

No breakfast served in harborside. Served two buildings down and it rained most of weekend.
