Location and free shuttle was great for us as we flew out of MDW. Convenient to leave our vehicle there for the week. Staff didn’t seem very welcoming at check in and the lobby smelled like raw sewage the evening we checked in and the next morning. Breakfast was not great. Once the eggs and hot food are out, they don’t replace them. You’re left with cereal and maybe a danish if there are any left. Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was dated but fine for one night.

Very convenient to the airport with an efficient shuttle service. Rooms are clean and bathroom was recently renovated Very limited on-site or nearby food options. Service was friendly and helpful. Great for an overnight at the airport. Excellent value.

Tight parking lot with airport parking taking up parking spots that then required quest of Carlton to park off site and not within secured area. No telephone in the room required one to walk back outside in inclement weather to have contact with front desk.

Truly budget no frills nothing but a bed place. Wi-fi not working, no soaps or shampoos in room unless you ask. Parking is okay. Bed comfortable, room clean.

There were a few missing light bulbs. No soap in the dispenser. Toilet ran and had a small leak Breakfast was ok. Scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and sausage. Also served some cold cereals. If you are looking for a quick place to stay, it will suit your needs. Very close to Midway Airport.

Love the free airport transport. This is a MOTEL. I thought it was a hotel. Scary part of town. Lots of noises from cleaning/laundry/maintenance , as well as surrounding area.

Location was great. Parking is terrible but we were there on weekend and staff told us we could park in bank lot next door since they own half the lot. Our tv didn't work but the moved us to another room which worked out. Older hotel but kept up nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Although staff interactions were friendly, the room was filthy. The carpet was gross, the shower basin was stained and seemed to retain old water, and there was hair visibly scattered throughout the room. The hallways were dark, dank, and did not feel safe. The Inn clearly served as an extended stay as well because there was evidence of a dog living on the property (based on the dish and a full bag of dog food outside of one unit). Thank God we only had to endure the conditions for one night. I would never revisit or recommend this establishment.

Our room wreaked of cigarettes upon our arrival. There was no toilet paper, beds and bathroom covered in hair and other people’s bodily fluids. Left immediately. Would not recommend to an enemy.

This is a filthy hotel. I arrived after midnight and had limited options at the point. Spent the night in the clothes I had worn all day. Slept on top ov the covers (after all I had been camping before and that is what it felt like - sleeping in the midst of filth and bugs)

There was mold in the shower on the ceiling. The faucet for the sink wasn’t even attached to the sink, if you walked on their floor with white socks they came back absolutely filthy! My wife and I had to check out early and come home cause of her health issues with the mold! And yes I took pictures of it all! They still charged us for the full stay even though the room was not habitable! Avoid this motel!

The room was pretty large and spacious, didn’t feel cramped at all. There were some issues with the tub, but it wasn’t enough of an issue for me. Overall a good place to crash if you are going out and about in Chicago, conveniently located next to a Ventra station.

Room was booked as non-smoking and although signage indicated it was, the room smelled of smoke and there cigarette burns in the bathroom. Blankets on the beds had cigarette holes burned through them. No handles, bars, soap or shelves to put anything on in the shower. TV was next to useless ... It was a streaming TV but clearly the owners don't provide internet capable of supporting streaming TVs. The room was clean though.

Staff was always so helpful and the area was quiet! But my room had a TV that didn’t have anything connected so I couldn’t watch, toilet would move and hit the wall every time I would stand up, the light didn’t work in the shower, the blinds were broken.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean and quiet, tv worked, internet was great, room was nice and cold, great location near Summer Smash, close to the metro, target and dollar store. TV and fridge were both awesome as well and clean. Room was a bit dated and I was inspired to wear sandals in the shower but I truly have zero complaints - all my needs were met I would stay here again if I needed an affordable comfortable location in the area to shower and lay my head at. Definitely not a spot for a romantic get away though if you catch my drift.

For some reason the room was very moist and damp. When we first got to our room, the bedsheets were damp to the touch. I asked for a different room, and the staff obliged very reluctantly. In the second room, things still felt damp. Later in the evening, water was dripping from the hole that was a ceiling fan in the bathroom and it wasn’t even covered with anything. I had to put down towels on the ground, to soak up the dripping water. The bathroom light kept turning off as well. I told the staff about these issues, and by the second day, they had done something to fix the dripping and the bathroom light. But the room floor had so much condensation on it that it was sticky with moisture. It was OK for us to stick with it for the two nights we were there, but this experience made us resolve to never sleep at a motel again. You really do get what you pay for. Also, at night time, the airplanes landing and taking off were so very loud.

Bathroom accommodations were fair. The room did not have the most pleasant smell. The television did not work for the 3 day stay-front desk said something referencing the company? The bedsheets sooo old, with holes and stains. Lastly, the air conditioner made such a weird noise all night, every night ☹️. Will not repeat!

Nice that they had 24 hour airport pickup but the van was older and harder to get into than the one shown on website. If you have issues with getting into higher vehicle, take an uber. We got in late and they upgraded us, but no towels in room, it took a bit to get some, had to raid another room and the light bulbs in bathroom were burnt out. Staff is friendly and hard working, breakfast was standard and very welcome to have in an expensive city, short walk to the orange line that gets you everywhere and safe area right across from a high school, nothing fancy but clean and about right for price.

It was great. I lost my key card twice i was given a new one both times. I would like to mention someone was at the desk each time i went whether it 9am or 2am. Staff is great. Quick easy check in and check out. Out of all the inconveniences i faced on my trip to Chicago, this hotel was NOT one of them. Wasn’t my first choice but will probably be on my list when i come back

They overbooked and didn\'t give us the 2 queen bed room we reserved. Instead we got a king with a twin size fold bed. Note there is 4 of us and we reserved 2 months ago. The customer service sucked as she didn\'t even act like she wanted to help with our issue. Since we reserved through Expedia, she said we have to take it up with them(it felt more like she didn\'t care to bother with us). We were calm and respectful but didn\'t not receive that energy back. We\'re waiting on a email back from Expedia for a refund or something. The room is a whole other story. Yes it\'s a motel but this fit the movie exaggeration of "not what we expected" motel. It was disgusting and gross with stains all around and hair on things like the a towel. My partner was so concerned she wanted us to keep our shoes on the entire time until we got in bed. I\'ve been in motels before but they never were this bad. I paid $150 for an overnight and that was not at all worth that price.

We were calm and respectful but didn\'t not receive that energy back. We\'re waiting on a email back from Expedia for a refund or something. The room is a whole other story. Yes it\'s a motel but this fit the movie exaggeration of "not what we expected" motel. It was disgusting and gross with stains all around and hair on things like the a towel. My partner was so concerned she wanted us to keep our shoes on the entire time until we got in bed. I\'ve been in motels before but they never were this bad. I paid $150 for an overnight and that was not at all worth that price.

The property was loud and did not feel welcoming. Another family tried to enter my room at 1:30am in the morning because they were given the same room. Then the manager knocked at the door asking how I entered the room and when I presented the key I received at the desk he apologized and explained that my stay had not been entered into their books. In the morning I had to wake the manager to drive us in the shuttle to the airport.

This motel is very near Midway Airport. Of course you hear planes, and that didn't bother us. We were glad to be nearby for an early-morning flight. The room was spacious with windows at front and back, and there was a little table for breakfast. The breakfast that came with the room had eggs and sausage and hash browns, plus cereals and breads. That was great. The weird thing: The bathroom door had to scrape against the toilet to close. It appears the toilets were upgraded at some point in history, and the replacements are too big for the space. I wonder if the motel could reverse the bathroom door to open into the room? That would solve the problem, and there's plenty of room for that.

Very convenient to the airport with an efficient shuttle service. Rooms are clean and bathroom was recently renovated Very limited on-site or nearby food options. Service was friendly and helpful. Great for an overnight at the airport. Excellent value.

There were a few missing light bulbs. No soap in the dispenser. Toilet ran and had a small leak Breakfast was ok. Scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and sausage. Also served some cold cereals. If you are looking for a quick place to stay, it will suit your needs. Very close to Midway Airport.

For some reason the room was very moist and damp. When we first got to our room, the bedsheets were damp to the touch. I asked for a different room, and the staff obliged very reluctantly. In the second room, things still felt damp. Later in the evening, water was dripping from the hole that was a ceiling fan in the bathroom and it wasn’t even covered with anything. I had to put down towels on the ground, to soak up the dripping water. The bathroom light kept turning off as well. I told the staff about these issues, and by the second day, they had done something to fix the dripping and the bathroom light. But the room floor had so much condensation on it that it was sticky with moisture. It was OK for us to stick with it for the two nights we were there, but this experience made us resolve to never sleep at a motel again. You really do get what you pay for. Also, at night time, the airplanes landing and taking off were so very loud.

Stayed here to catch a flight at Midway. Rooms and parking decent. Looks like an unsafe area to avoid going out anywhere. You are probably ok if you stay in your room at night. Wouldn't venture out.

Love the free airport transport. This is a MOTEL. I thought it was a hotel. Scary part of town. Lots of noises from cleaning/laundry/maintenance , as well as surrounding area.

It is close to the train line that takes you to downtown Chicago. The train orange line was safe and when you get to downtown area that you are in is close to the navy pier. Breakfast was good and they tried very hard to keep breakfast filled when it ran out. The hotel is in the older part of Chicago and it is a older hotel but the staff was friendly and helpful.

Tight parking lot and not a great looking part of town. Our room was down a dark, exterior hall. Inside was great though. Lobby and staff was great and room was very clean and comfortable.

Location and free shuttle was great for us as we flew out of MDW. Convenient to leave our vehicle there for the week. Staff didn’t seem very welcoming at check in and the lobby smelled like raw sewage the evening we checked in and the next morning. Breakfast was not great. Once the eggs and hot food are out, they don’t replace them. You’re left with cereal and maybe a danish if there are any left. Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was dated but fine for one night.

Check in was very easy and convenient. The room was okay but the refrigerator didn’t seal properly so we couldnt utilize this amenity, the morning breakfast was just very sad, and our bathroom dispensers were empty and/or working.

I had a great time there to be honest, no issues at all. From when I walked in to check-in the lady at the desk was more than helpful which was nice because I had a long trip and got into my room easily. I woke up around 8 am and the breakfast was so good I honestly got another plate of it. I traveled with my girlfriend and will be back in the future for more events. Thank you very much for the great stay. Also the beds are firm and clean!!!

I was very disappointed. The best I could say is that my room was clean and functional. Many things were in in disrepair. The lights would not turn when using the switch by the door. The bathroom sink fixture was separated from the counter and literally hanging down into the sink. The wardrobe looked like it was put there in the 1970s. The TV remote turned on the TV but was unable to control being up the channel guide, effectively making the TV useless. I was looking forward to a hot breakfast, but was disappointed to find out that the sausage and potatoes were cold, and that the eggs were not even there (the clerk told me that they would be there in a few minutes, but 20 minutes later they were still not there). In the past I've had very good experiences at this hotel, but not this trip.

Rooms are dated, but some have been modernized. Breakfast was great on Saturday, but on Sunday it was lacking eggs and many other items that were available on Saturday. Staff is great and helped us with all our questions. Loved the free shuttle to and from Midway. Steve the driver was very personable. Abdul at the front desk was wonderful as well.

The rooms aren’t spotless just some spots they missed but if you’re looking for a decent place to stay it has all the basic things you need fridge, microwave, and tv. It’s a good decent spot I’d stay here again.

The pictures misrepresented the room. There was no refrigerator or hair dryer. We told the staff and they said they would bring us a refrigerator the next morning. When we returned, no refrigerator, so we asked again and once again were assured one would be moved in the next day. Once again, when we returned there was still a glaring lack of the appliances listed as amenities. Breakfast also left a lot to be desired. It was clear no one was monitoring food levels throughout the service period and every morning something would be missing from an already limited selection. One morning that we went down in the last hour of service the coffee was weak enough that I wouldn’t be surprised if someone just poured hot water on top instead of brewing another batch. The bathroom was the only area that looked like it was actually renovated in the last few decades (the “dresser” was just a wire shelving unit one might find in a garage and the only table in the room held the microwave with no room for anything else) but despite the modern appearance the shower had negligible water pressure and showed signs of mold in between the doors.
