Amazing resort for a resort of its size. Seamless transfer from Caticlan airport vi their lounge and speedboat to island makes a perfect way to arrive. We stayed in a premier Seaview room which was large and well equipped and maintained. Comfy bed and soft sheets. Cleaning was exceptional and nightly turndown was thorough. Beaches are beautiful, great beach service with water, cold towels and ice cream. Always space on the loungers as pool boys clear left towels. Sizeable swimming pool. Breakfast was the most diverse I have seen, great coffee and eggs to order as well as sushi, Asian specialities and more western breakfast options. No sparkling wine which I would have expected at this level resort. Breakfast never felt like the bun fight it sometimes can with option to sit inside or outside. Food in all outlets was really good. Sundowners on the beach was special due to low key live music. Regular free shuttle into town to White beach if you want to venture out. Only downside we saw was on our last evening there was a big company party in the hotel as well as a wedding meaning there were no quiet dining outlets...you ended up hearing loud music from two directions. We did complain and got given a refund on our food but it doesn't give us the time back! From the reaction this is clearly a regular issue...I would suggest they notify guests that there will be disruption or noise so that you can decide to leave the resort if you want. Great staff.

Best hotel stay by far! Shangri-la exceeded our expectations! My husband and I stayed for 3 nights 4 days! The pool, gym, saunas were great! Unfortunately we were unable to get a reservation at the spa since they were fully booked at the time we arrived. Thankfully the hotel provided a free shuttle to the Boracay strip mall and we were able to find a nice spa down there and walk the town as well. The restaurant choices were nice at Shangri-la. Our room and view was amazing! They also accommodated us with a nice bottle of wine, two swan towel creations on our bed, a bubble bath with flower petals! The whole staff at the resort was exceptional. The beach and pool was nice! We cannot forget the amazing breakfast buffet! That was amazing with so many food options! We miss it already! We cannot wait to go back to Shangri-la on our next Boracay stay!

Family of 3, stayed for 4 nights in a family room. In summary, I would definitely stay here again. Room and facilities were great. Staff were so helpful. Transfer to/from the airport was by van and speedboat offering a great view of the island. Room was spacious, quiet and clean with an excellent view of Punta Bunga beach. Only issue were the sliding balcony doors in neighbouring rooms - there was a lot of vibration when another room opened their balcony doors. Food options at the resort were good. Buffet breakfast at Vintana offered a wide array pan-Asian and Western cuisine. You can also dine right next to Banyugan beach at their Cielo restaurant which offered Western cusine. Travelling to other parts of Boracay was quite easy - either use the resort's shuttle service to D'Mall at scheduled times or our personal preference of hiring a tricycle whenever we needed to. There pool area was large enough and contained multiple jacuzzi areas. It was around 4ft deep but they offered life jackets to smaller kids which allowed my daughter to really enjoy the pool. It was also right next to Banyugan beach which had excellent views of sunsets. There were a lot of activities onsite: An entertainment centre offering table tennis, pool and other games. A large dedicated play area for kids. A larger than average hotel gym. A spa, tennis courts and several other bookable activities. The resort is large but walkable. However, a buggy service is available when needed.

Best way to visit Boracay. Transportation hassle free with Shangrila's airport to hotel and back. Avoid the hassle of ferrying and ground transport that can take 2-3x longer. On the return to the airport, we were fast tracked. VIP hassle free travel is fantastic. The hotel is great, staff is super friendly, the place is very private and hence safe.

Stayed in Tree House Villa. Concierge and staff were very friendly. Superb view. The outdoor slippers that was provided was broken to begin with, I told one of the staff but wasn't resolved, may be didn't understand well. The balcony roof was leaking (rain) and outdoor jacuzzi have a lot of ants in the Tree Villa. Tv remote control wasn't working, reported and they replaced battery but didn't test if working or not, after checking, found that battery was placed wrongly. Bathroom auto blinds wasn't working properly, could go down, but couldn't go up, reported but wasn't able to fix during the stay. Bathtub lots of ants. Wifi connection drops intermittently, I assume there's a limit placed to each connection which uses internet heavily. Breakfast buffet - the cooked food was not good, either too salty or doesn't taste good, bake patries are good though For the price range of the stay, I would expect that everything should be working well..

I had high hopes given the good reviews but we were quite disappointed. We booked 3 nights at the Shangri La Boracay, and had a very problematic stay due to so many issues. To keep it objective, here are are pros and cons: Pros: 1. Food program was solid all across the resort, though breakfast is quite crowded, so come early for that. 2. Facilities are beautiful and well kept, including 2 beaches and if you have kids, the entertainment center has all sorts of arcade and board games 3. Rooms are spacious 4. They have a robust activity schedule, but note most activities cost extra, like kayaking and paddle-boarding. Cons: 1. Service is inconsistent all across. We noticed a lot of inefficiencies and lack of communication between teams. For example, disturbance from cleaning staff unnecessarily ringing our room 15 times on two days after the room had already been “cleaned”. 2. Power went out at least 5 times every day across the entire resort. Even in good weather. 3. Internet is very poor 4. TVs are small and hard to cast. Not all rooms have Apple TV. 5. Cleanliness was not at a 5-star level. We had an incident where we found living cockroaches crawling over the bar area. More on this below. 6. Spa massage (03/28) was awful and extremely painful. Likely one of the worst I’ve ever had. The masseuse (Dolly) did not care I was sunburnt and was quite unprofessional in her delivery, exhibiting an angry demeanour. 7. Food is overpriced - a 25% markup

Liked that the room was serviced several times a day. The beach was wonderful. Snack bar and drinks were good. The breakfast buffet was superb. Found the overall experience to be overpriced for what it was. It’s a nice resort but I’ve stayed in just as nice in Bali and Thailand for 1/3rd the cost. They didn’t do anything to “wow” us over our 3 days other than a tin of Valentine’s chocolates on our arrival. The Valentine’s Dinner at the seafood restaurant was lacklustre - with the wait staff being over extended and every course served cold.

Generally very nice with a secluded location on a beach to the north of Boracay. The Tree Top Villa was very nice with a to-die-for view of the beach. If I am being picky, a few bits of the hotel are getting a little worn, but nothing serious. Staff generally excellent. Location is a little remote but there is a straight forward shuttle in to D’Mall every couple of hours. It’s a place for serenity’s rather than being in the centre of the action

The property location is stunning but the hotel itself is not designed well. Its very dark and dated. Also dark corridors snake around all over the property and its not logically laid out. The finishings all look about 15 years old. The breakfast food quality is very average. Other than the beach location and pools there is nothing special.

Had a great stay. It was nice to have boat service and ground transportation from the airport. We arrived early after a long flight from SFO, and they gave us a room to shower while our villa was prepared. The only issue I had was we splurged on a tree house Villa, you would have expected to see the ocean from bed instead of trees. Sounds weird to say but the upstairs had a beautiful view and the other villas were situated to see a beautiful view…but for some reason they stuck us in the corner. Otherwise the service was great, food was great, amenities were great…but I would recommend just getting a normal beachfront room.

Our stay was excellent, except that the airconditioner was not working properly. Our balcony door was closed but the temp was still hot, despite adjusting room temp to 18deg. It was hot in our room. Had to call maintenance twice Couldn’t sleep properly.

Employees are great, we arrived at the resort early . They didn’t have a room available, so we wait 5 hours. On a steamy weather… A day before we leave we can’t sleep because o banging on the other rooms, they fixing rooms .. shangrila should have gives us a head up so we can get out on the beach while their fixing rooms it was BAD. We went there to relax but unfortunately it wasn’t what I’m expecting….

My stay at Shangri-La Boracay was disappointing overall. The property as a facility felt heavily worn out, with multiple issues in the room that required repairs. Despite upgrading to a suite, I found myself calling maintenance three, four, even five times to fix different problems, which was extremely inconvenient. The check-in experience was also unacceptable. I originally booked a sea-view room, yet I was given a room without the view I paid for. When I raised the issue, the staff attempted to charge me extra for the sea-view room that was already part of my reservation. This led to a heated discussion until the supervisor got involved. After that, the employee came back trying to frame it as if they “upgraded” me, when in reality, they were simply providing the room category I had already booked. I made it clear that there was no need to present it as a favor. While breakfast was excellent and the restaurant quality was strong, the suite I upgraded to still had several maintenance problems, and the overall condition of the property did not match the brand’s reputation. The spa and massage were also far below expectations. The entire resort feels neglected, lacking the proper upkeep needed to maintain a premium standard.

From start to finish, our experience at the hotel was excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the amenities exceeded our expectations. One of the best hotel we have stayed at. Their service was impeccable and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the stay. The Shangri-La Boracay was a picturesque paradise that provided us with a great room, view, amenities, friendly staff, great breakfast options and a campus that is second to none. The staff made our stay special and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Very pleasantly surprised. We'll definitely come back!

Gorgeous property with an amazing ,lush tropical landscaping. It was beautiful wherever you looked. Top-notch staff. Great food. Super-convenient resort transportation from the ferry close to the airport.

Best way to visit Boracay. Transportation hassle free with Shangrila's airport to hotel and back. Avoid the hassle of ferrying and ground transport that can take 2-3x longer. On the return to the airport, we were fast tracked. VIP hassle free travel is fantastic. The hotel is great, staff is super friendly, the place is very private and hence safe.

Amazing resort for a resort of its size. Seamless transfer from Caticlan airport vi their lounge and speedboat to island makes a perfect way to arrive. We stayed in a premier Seaview room which was large and well equipped and maintained. Comfy bed and soft sheets. Cleaning was exceptional and nightly turndown was thorough. Beaches are beautiful, great beach service with water, cold towels and ice cream. Always space on the loungers as pool boys clear left towels. Sizeable swimming pool. Breakfast was the most diverse I have seen, great coffee and eggs to order as well as sushi, Asian specialities and more western breakfast options. No sparkling wine which I would have expected at this level resort. Breakfast never felt like the bun fight it sometimes can with option to sit inside or outside. Food in all outlets was really good. Sundowners on the beach was special due to low key live music. Regular free shuttle into town to White beach if you want to venture out. Only downside we saw was on our last evening there was a big company party in the hotel as well as a wedding meaning there were no quiet dining outlets...you ended up hearing loud music from two directions. We did complain and got given a refund on our food but it doesn't give us the time back! From the reaction this is clearly a regular issue...I would suggest they notify guests that there will be disruption or noise so that you can decide to leave the resort if you want. Great staff.

Shangri-la never disappoints. My only complain this time is the Rema Restaurant. We made a reservation there for our last night at the hotel as some sort of a celebration. The restaurant was described as mediterranean. The food was nowhere close to mediterranean. The food in Jollibee would have tasted better, yet it was so overpriced. The mosquito was overpowering the dinner experience.

Shangri-La has been an absolute revelation. It was my first time to one of their resorts and I was thoroughly impressed from the time I landed at the airport and was met by Arvill. He is an absolute credit to the hotel. My King Oceanfront Suite 534 was extremely well appointed. Everything was functioning, clean and well organised. I quite enjoyed my rest and hearing the waves crash against the ocean. Breakfast is a massive spread of both Asian and International Cuisine which was also thoroughly enjoyed. Well Done Shangri-La Boracay!

Liked that the room was serviced several times a day. The beach was wonderful. Snack bar and drinks were good. The breakfast buffet was superb. Found the overall experience to be overpriced for what it was. It’s a nice resort but I’ve stayed in just as nice in Bali and Thailand for 1/3rd the cost. They didn’t do anything to “wow” us over our 3 days other than a tin of Valentine’s chocolates on our arrival. The Valentine’s Dinner at the seafood restaurant was lacklustre - with the wait staff being over extended and every course served cold.

Amazing resort. The service was excellent. The rooms are lovely and very good condition. The pool area is excellent and both of the beaches are world class. The pool definitely exceeded our expectations and was excellent and the breakfast buffet was a delight. Absolutely dream vacation.

The property is beautiful. The staff are amazing. The food is excellent. I can’t fault this experience at all. Everyone was so detailed, helpful, friendly and courteous. They made sure our stay was incredible. I would highly recommend this hotel.
