Best Western Plus Amedia Art Salzburg

We enjoyed our stay at this Best Western in Salzburg. Check-in was quick and the staff was helpful on several occasions. Their breakfast was perfect for us and there are also good restaurants nearby. Parking in their garage made having a car workable. We will choose this hotel if we come back to Salzburg.

Dejligt hotel med god beliggenhed. Det var lidt svært at finde parkeringskælderen pga ensrettede gader.

Solides Hotel. Personal besonders beim Frühstück sehr freundlich. Zimmer ausreichend groß. Für das Kind wurde ein Zusatzbett hergerichtet. Innenstadt zu Fuß oder mit Bus erreichbar. Parkplatz vor Ort. Check-in war leider etwas chaotisch, ansonsten war alles i. O.

Ich bin selten so freundlich und kompetent empfangen worden. Zimmer sehr sauber und komfortabel. Eine schöne Lobby und Bar. JEderzeit wieder!

Das Hotel ist gut geeignet als Business-Hotel, praktisch und stylish eingerichtet, sauber, der Verkehrslärm weitgehend durch schallisoliert Fenster abgedichtet. Umständlich ist die Zufahrt bzw. das Ein- und Auspacken vom Auto. Sehr ärgerlich waren in einer Nacht immer wieder lärmende, teilweise auch am Gang telefonierende Gäste. Nach mehrmaligen Anrufen an der Rezeption wurden diese zwar letztlich in die Zimmer verwiesen, doch die Nachtruhe war mehrmals gestört.

Bra hotell med egen parkering om än något trång. Enkelt med bussförbindelser strax utanför. Trafiken utanför lite störande då vi inte lyckades stänga ventilationen. Gick bra att gå ner till Historische Stadt Mysig frukost med lite av allt. Rummet var rymligt och städningen bra.

Prenotato due notti dal 26 al 28 dicembre con famiglia. Stanza 224. Come entrati, abbiamo trovato (stranamente) le finestre spalancate e temperatura non proprio accogliente (ho fatto presente ma nulla). Dopo un'ora abbiamo capito il perchè: dagli scarichi di doccia e lavandino usciva un nausaeabondo odore di fogna. Fortunantamente non era continuo ma comunque molto fastidioso. La prima mezza giornata siamo stati pochissimo in stanza quindi pensando e sperando fosse momentaneo, abbiamo tralasciato. La seconda notte invece, mi sono svegliato per il fetore e aprendo la finestra (dicembre!), abbiamo tirato mattina. A mio avviso il problema è conosciuto dal personale ma non intervengono. Oltre a ciò, la prima sera abbiamo fruito del bollitore in camera per un thè: le tazze, cucchiani e resto, sono rimasti li sino a che non ce ne siamo andati. Nella hall c'è un distributore automatico di bibite che non ha mai funzionato. Per il resto tutto standard.

I stayed at this hotel from a Tuesday a to a Thursday. Our room was NEVER CLEANED. I asked several times for housekeeping. They came on Friday, emptied the overflowing trash cans and gave us clean towels. That was it...... This hotel may be great for an overnight stay, but not for several days. Other guests were complaining over the dirty rooms as well. The breakfast, however, was great. especially if you show up at 7 am. The last day we slept in until 9 and most breakfast items were gone.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind auch soweit gut. Allerdings war es nicht perfekt geputzt. Was mich auch sehr gestört hat, war, dass es keine Zimmerreinigung gegeben hat. Dieses musste vorher verlangt werden. Grundsätzlich kann man das ja so machen, aber man sollte zumindest den Papaierkorb leeren und schauen ob alle Hygieneartikel noch vorhanden sind,

Run down property. Scalling in washroom and toilet.

Extrem dreckig, Bettwäsche vom Vor Gast war nicht abgezogen, Tee war noch im Wasserkocher (mit Teebeutel), Zimmer war komplett nicht gereinigt, erst am Dritten Tag nach ständigen erinnern, wurden Mängel behoben. So ein unsauberes und schlimmes Hotel habe ich noch nicht erlebt!

I liked the reception staff, very helpful. Didn't like the dirtyness of the room.

Staffs are not so nice and not helpful. Shower curtain smells so bad, drain is clogged up with stuffs and hairs, floods when taking shower. Room doesn’t have enough lights and outlets.

Clean room convenient location

This is a modern hotel with large room, I stayed here for 5 nights, but they only cleaned the room after the first night. I understand they don’t need to clean the rooms everyday but I thought they would have cleaned more than once, the bin was full, I left one towel on the floor but as no one visited they didn’t change it. There is a mini fridge, safe, there was also a kettle with one sachet of coffee, but this was not replenished, even on the day they did visit to clean the room. The shower has frosted glass facing the bed but transparent glass as you enter the room, you can half solve this by fully opening the toilet door but this still leaves a gap. This wasnt an issue for me but it might be for other travellers who wants more privacy. The breakfast was excellent, lot of choices. Bread, meat, pastries, scrambled eggs, frankfurters, bacon, cereal, cakes, whole fruit, cut fruit, yogurt. There is a supermarket in the mall opposite the hotel and a lovely greek restaurant, Mcdonalds and more supermarkets 5 minutes walk. You can walk into town in 20minutes or you can take the bus, unless there is a strike. On one of the days there was a train strike, I thought this only affected trains but there were no buses either so I had to walk. The hotel is on a main road but the noise wasnt an issue, just the occasional car playing music loudly.

Der Check In verlief problemlos und die Dame dort war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war jedoch nicht sauber (Glasrand am Schlafzimmertisch, weiße Flecken im Bad, Dusche (mit Vorhang!) verkalkt. Das Doppelbett war ein Zustand: steinharte Matratze, Doppelbett bloß zusammengeschoben… Wir haben beim Check Out auf die Umstände selbstverständlich hingewiesen. Der Preis von weit über €200,- war nicht einmal an einem Adventsamstag gerechtfertigt. Außerdem hat das Hotel dringend eine Renovierung nötig.

Hotel is not attractive from outside. Room is clean but amenities are not available. Room did not have tea/coffee facilities. When requested, this was not brought to the room and we had to get the kettle, cups, etc from the reception. Wi-Fi connectivity is very poor, almost no connection. Price is very expensive for the quality of property and service. The hotel is quite far from city centre as well.

Its a horrible hotel. The rooms are large but the AC does not work well, have to keep the windows open at night, hence sirens and traffic noise. No provisions of soap, etc. We were given a family room, also useable for handicapped people. The toilet bowl was so close to the sink I wonder how many handicapped people hurt them selves twisting to sit on the toilet bowl. The breakfast spread is good. I will not stay there again and it is a pity that Hotel.Com lists such hotels

Friendly staffs especially those ladies at the reception. Everything ok, just the bathroom design is a bit weird. There has no main door of the bathroom. The layout is bath on the left while toilet is on the right hand side, middle is the sink, like an U shape When take the shower, has to open the toilet door to block the view from the room, however, the door is not wide enough to block it all, it’s so awkward.

Poor air conditioning

Bokade två nätter för att turista i Salzburg. Har gladeligen valt BW hotell tidigare då dom haft relativ bra fräschet och standard. Känns numera dock som att en del av kedjans hotel har halkat efter lite. Positiva saker med rum/hotel: + Personalen var trevlig och hjälpsam + Hotellet erbjöd gratis bussbiljetter + Finns busshållplats strax utanför hotellet + Rummets storlek (riktigt stort rum) Negativa saker med rum/hotel: - Rummet upplevdes som dåligt städat men det var inte pga dålig städning. Den gamla röda heltäckningsmattan har sett sina glansdagar och går nog inte att städas ren, byte bevövs. Duschkabinen likaså. Dags att byta ut den, rost och å behov av renovering, Parkering fanns mot betalning, infarten var dock inte helt optimal.

Las habitaciones son muy amplias pero se nota que el hotel ya es algo viejo (camas un poco incómodas) y el A/C no funciona y la habitación que me asignaron tenía una ventana muy pequeña que daba a la calle y apenas entraba algo de aire, otro punto a considerar es que, si no te gusta caminar mucho, tal vez debas buscarte una propiedad mas cerca del centro de la ciudad o estarte preparado para moverte en taxi y transporte público

Das Zimmer (Standardzimmer, ein Einzelbett) war geräumig, mit einem Doppelbett (zwei getrennte Matratzen). Einziger großer Wermutstropfen des Hotels: wie in vielen anderen Bewertungen auch beklagt die sehr harten, unbequemen Matratzen. Die Decke war mir etwas zu warm, aber die Zimmertemperatur ließ sich regulieren. Das Zimmer verfügte über einen Schreibtisch, Wasserkocher mit Tee und Kaffee, einen zusätzlichen Sessel und einen Schrank mit Kofferablage. Das Bad ist offen ins Zimmer integriert. Der Waschbereich ist nicht vom restlichen Zimmer abgetrennt, die Dusche hat eine Schiebetür, die Toilette eine Milchglastür. Das WLAN ist passwortgeschützt, allerdings definitiv nicht das schnellste. We had a room at the top floor (4th). It has a great view during the day, however the curtains let a lot of sun thru, so you will wake up earlier. The bed is like you are sleeping on the floor. It is super hard and uncomfortable. The location is a bit further away from the city center, so expect a longer walk or take a bus.

Okay medium priced hotel. Nice sauna. Some employees nice and helpful, others oddly rude.

great staff

Keine Handtücher in Zimmer. Zimmer Schlüssel hat nicht funktioniert. Es muss immer eine Person in Zimmer bleiben. Wir wurden schlecht informiert über Parking Garage und dann haben wir 2x Parking bezahlt. Rezeption ohne Hilfe und arrogant.

Hotel was a good choice for our purposes. We found the bedding too hard and were given only one pillow each. The hotel is stingy with amenities, for example you only get two instant coffees for the room. After that you pay. The staff was always helpful when we asked questions. As a tourist one should familiarize oneself with the public transit system. It was super easy to go to all the sites once we understood that, and the hotel is well situated to use it.

Not very inspiring surroundings. Will take you 15-20 minutes to walk downtown. Room more than ok.

The staff was fantastic. The hotel was located right on the stops for two bus routes, one to the train station and the other to the historic district, downtown.

The distance walking to sites in Salzburg was a 2km lovely walk. We enjoyed the walk and were happy with the location. Great place to stay and do tourist activities.

Clean room convenient location

Staff very helpful and friendly. It's a little out of the way but not all that far from everything and there are some good restaurants nearby. Very comfortable place to stay and I would recommend it to anybody.

This Hotel is the 1st hotel in the world i have stayed at that didn't have a toaster at breakfast and when asked we were told we supply bread only... also the bed was like a plank very hard and if you dont have enough towels check the wardrobe because that is where they are kept supposedly...

The property was located at a very busy intersection. Road construction limited the access to the property. The rooms were very small and cramped. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great.

개인 가이드로 자두묵는편임니다. 그냥 저렴한 4성급 한국 단체가 있는날은 아침 조식이 부실해짐 2일있었는네. 단체없는날은 조금나짐.다른 4성에비해 조식 부실함.

Hotel was fine and as usual in Best Western Hotels, rooms were clean and adequate. There was a slight smell coming from the toilet particularly later in the evening but all in all facilities were good and breakfast was fantastic.

Great stay. The front reception was helpful, friendly and informative. We arrived very early and were able to store our bags and complete check in. Amazing breakfast, really comfortable beds and a great shower. Would definitely recommend to our friends and family and hope to stay here again one day.
