Room was clean and bed was comfy; shower easy to use. No coffee maker in the room -- it is in the office. No hair dryer in the room. There IS a fridge and microwave in the room. Easy to find just off Rte 395.

This is a great place to stay most of the time. The rooms are clean and tidy. They have coffee in the checkin area and there is a dollar general next to it. Just can’t go wrong. On the downside the sink drains pretty slow and the showers tend to flood the bathroom floor a bit (or I’m just not good at this whole thing). Either way, I always enjoy my stay here when I am passing through.

The parking was safe. I was able to park right in front of my room. The AC was a little loud and the door to the bathroom was slightly ajar red. I would have liked a shade on the bathroom window. The bathroom window seemed to be partially painted but if I can see out someone can see in. The staff at the front desk was pleasant. The bed was reasonable The site stated it was 19.4 miles away from UConn in Storrs but it really was 28-30 miles depending on the direction taken. Overall the stay was pleasant.

Easy highway access, great parking, well lighted. The new owners have put a lot of work into the rooms - good mattress, great clean shower, decent climate control. I’ve stayed in major chains that are far worse. There is a slight smell of mold still, but no bugs! The resident cat is very friendly

The floor in the room had large gaps in between the boards right in the middle of the room. The floor in the bathroom was dirty with hair, i also found hair on the towels that should have been clean. The sheets were stained and had holes in them. All together poor quality room not worth the price.

I grew up in Plainfield and was in town for a class reunion. Everyone I know was telling me it’s the crack motel. I didn’t have any problems, but there are definitely some questionable characters hanging out there, and the Plainfield police creep through the parking lot, checking license plates on a regular basis. Don’t be surprised if you get pulled over when you leave. The room was okay, but the floors are filthy. Keep your socks on when you’re in the room. Trust me. Coffee in the lobby is almost palatable. If you’re going to stay there, lock your door, and don’t leave anything valuable in your car.

The room was dirty. There was a large sticky spot (like old cola) on the floor next to bed. Unlucky for me, my glasses fell off the nightstand right onto a pile of goo. And there were so many flies.... they like sticky goo.

The pictures hide all the faults of the rook. There is needed maintenance in the room. One window was missing the open/closing crank. Someone could look into the room through the small windows. The smoke detector was half off. The mirror fram paint was flacking off. The bed and couch were so close together I had to turn sideways to get by. The accommodations were not as presented on the online pictures show.

We stayed at this hotel for a family wedding. The room was clean. Only issue i had was the water was not hot. It was luke warm at best. Beds werent cery comfortable but the lrice was good.

The property has a retro feel which is refreshing in today's modern world. The room was large with nice furniture and flooring. The bathroom had been upgraded with a nice tile shower. The negatives were that it appeared people live on site and there was furniture out front of some of the units, like couches and chairs. This does not make the property attractive or appealing. My room also seemed very damp. You could actually feel the dampness on the sheets. I could see through to the outside around the air conditioner unit, so maybe that was the issue. Also there are no lamps in the room. There are very dim recessed lights throughout the ceiling. You either had to choose five dim lights or no light at all. A lamp or two would have made things a little bit more cozy. Lastly, there was no one there to greet guests at check-in time. You have to pick up a phone at the front desk and call to let someone know you are there. Even though I had a prepaid reservation through Expedia and I was the first person in line, it still took like 10 minutes to check me in. Check in should have been quick. I would not rule out staying here again as I'm in the area often.

For what the motel was, it served its purpose. I didn’t like the fact that the only lighting was from the overhead lights in the ceiling. We could have used a lamp on the nightstand. Also, I wasn’t so keen on finding cigarette burns on the sheets and blankets on the bed. The flooring also had gaps and loose boards with the fake wood that was used. The toilet seat in the bathroom was loose, and the shower head kept having a small drip, that made sleeping not the easiest. So again, I got my moneys worth for what I paid for. There were just small things that would make stays in the future better for the costumers.

Excellent accommodation for the price. Had a larger than average fridge and tv with lots of channels. Basic but very decent and the room was a good size. The new management is in the process of renovating and updating an older property. Very convenient to the highway as well. An A budget option.

This stay was excellent. The inn was clean and had everything you may want. It is an older motel, but was very comfortable and had everything we needed.Gas station across and next to property. Dunkin’ Donuts within walking distance as was a Dollar General next door. Staff was great, would definitely recommend staying there 😊

There aren’t any lamps in the night stands.. there aren’t any towel bars in the bathroom.. there are a bunch of dead gnats in the front window and there is a couch in the room they looks like it was garbaged picked.. the man at the front desk was rude

The parking was safe. I was able to park right in front of my room. The AC was a little loud and the door to the bathroom was slightly ajar red. I would have liked a shade on the bathroom window. The bathroom window seemed to be partially painted but if I can see out someone can see in. The staff at the front desk was pleasant. The bed was reasonable The site stated it was 19.4 miles away from UConn in Storrs but it really was 28-30 miles depending on the direction taken. Overall the stay was pleasant.

Easy highway access, great parking, well lighted. The new owners have put a lot of work into the rooms - good mattress, great clean shower, decent climate control. I’ve stayed in major chains that are far worse. There is a slight smell of mold still, but no bugs! The resident cat is very friendly

Room was clean and bed was comfy; shower easy to use. No coffee maker in the room -- it is in the office. No hair dryer in the room. There IS a fridge and microwave in the room. Easy to find just off Rte 395.

This is a great place to stay most of the time. The rooms are clean and tidy. They have coffee in the checkin area and there is a dollar general next to it. Just can’t go wrong. On the downside the sink drains pretty slow and the showers tend to flood the bathroom floor a bit (or I’m just not good at this whole thing). Either way, I always enjoy my stay here when I am passing through.

I grew up in Plainfield and was in town for a class reunion. Everyone I know was telling me it’s the crack motel. I didn’t have any problems, but there are definitely some questionable characters hanging out there, and the Plainfield police creep through the parking lot, checking license plates on a regular basis. Don’t be surprised if you get pulled over when you leave. The room was okay, but the floors are filthy. Keep your socks on when you’re in the room. Trust me. Coffee in the lobby is almost palatable. If you’re going to stay there, lock your door, and don’t leave anything valuable in your car.
