Sea step s is a reasonably prices place to stay in Pompano beach. The rooms are well worn but kept up well. The kitchens are a great perk helping keep your costs down by not having to eat every meal out($$). Plus you have somewhere to store some ice cream treats for those hot muggy days (all of them.) pool is clean and well kept

A hidden gem! Access to the beach across the street and a relaxing pool in a quiet and beautiful courtyard. Rooms are pretty standard, staff is friendly and accomodating. The only thing missing was some coffee in the morning 😉

Great place to stay for a vacation, right near the beach and has a pool as well, has everything you need inside the apartment such as pots, pans, and more.

Should have more lounge chairs outside and umbrellas. Our refrigerator did not work. They didnt have another to give us. It froze everything in the refrigerator.. The pool needed more attention. We were there for 8 days only saw a pool guy once. Never vacuumed pool. Needs more chlorine, pretty cloudy. An ice machine would have been nice. The gentlemen that cleans the outside property was very nice and kept things in order . Would recommend this place

It is a very quiet and pleasant place, but the furniture near the pool needs to be replaced, it is old and broken! The pool is very dirty, in 5 days of stay, no one ever came to clean my room, or someone asked us if we needed anything like garbage bags, paper, etc.

Disappointed Stay at Sea Steps – Not Worth the Price I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, my experience at Sea Steps in Miami fell far below expectations. The location is great, and that’s about where the positives end. From the moment I arrived, things felt off. The room was not properly cleaned—there was sand on the floor, hair in the shower, and a faint smell of mildew that never quite went away. I tried to brush it off, but it made relaxing difficult. The air conditioning barely worked, which in Miami heat is not just uncomfortable—it’s unbearable. What really surprised me, though, was the noise. Despite advertising a peaceful atmosphere, the walls are paper thin, and I could hear everything from the rooms next door and outside. Sleep was almost impossible. To top it off, some of the amenities listed online were either broken or missing entirely. Our family loved our stay, we felt very safe there with our family. It was kept very clean in our room as well as the surrounding property area. The room itself was a little outdated but it was kept clean. There was plenty of seats to choose from which was great. Little bistro seats right outside our room, sun loungers, hammock, hanging swing hammock as well as large table and chairs. If we are back in the area, we would stay there again.

We stayed at this property 3rd time, it is great value, very convenient location (walking distance to supermarket and restaurants, one block to the beach). Pool was not as clean as I would like. Also I had a problem with WiFi connection, it did not require a password, and I was getting a warning that network was open and not secured. Despite assurance from the management, I did not feel comfortable using it for work or banking.

The room was clean and comfortable. Park on the side of the building, parking in front can lead to trouble backing out onto a busier street. The heated pool was a huge bonus! The downfalls-not much soundproofing- we could hear our neighbors. The water temperature in the shower was a bit finicky and the showerhead could have been installed higher, but we would stay here again.

Nice enough for the price and location and convenience to the beach. Places to eat within a mile so it’s walkable. Outdoor area was great. One minor issue is we wanted to watch tv at night and needed a code to access apps on the Roku. Asked twice and told someone would come to our room and help. Never happened.

This property is exactly what you pay for. We liked the free parking and it being walkable to the beach/restaurants. Other than that the property is old and a double bed rooms are small with no storage. We had to close up our suitcases at night and during the day our suitcases will be on the bed so that we can access it. The property is clean on the outside. Bathroom is small with water damaged shelfing. The faucets are old school and the toilet handle broke during our stay. But the staff was extremely on top of it to get it fixed. Horrible water pressure. Shower tiles cracked and all the hardware around the windows are rusty. We made the best of it since it was a short stay and we were hardly in the rooms. All the staff were helpful but there are no staff onsite after 5PM. The other hotel guests made it a pleasant stay overall.

The check in time was to bad, they not give us the room on the time specified for the check in on the reservation I has to claim for the room at front desk to get it on time,the main reason to stay in this place was an event that we need to attend on area one hour after the check in time and the room wasn’t ready.

The communication to hotel was never direct. They have a service that handled calls. Our room was on second floor no elevator. There wasn't a dresser. In the bathroom there were a few shelves and a small hanging area. Decor of our room was dated. The air-conditioning was poor. Toliet was an issue as well. Kitchenette was pitiful. The outdoor area was well taken care of. Young lady in office was lovely and helpful. Helping us to be able to check out after one night.

Our stay at Sea Steps was great. Wish I could have enjoyed the lovely pool area as it was very inviting with hanging chairs and nice bbq area. The rain did not allow for that. Brigette was outstanding. She was very helpful and caring. She checked on us to make sure we were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

We were locked out our room. Key pad did not work. Another customer had the same problem. I called and I did get assistance on using a code for the lock box but it was an inconvenience with weather being cold at night. No heat Wifi was very slow. But the beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. I would stay again if there was no issues with the key pad & during Florida’s cold months a heater was provided.

The only problem we had was checking in but luckily some of the workers showed up and helped us. Also the 2nd day our battery went dead on our door but they was fast in helping us. I loved the egg swings by the pool area it was very relaxing.

Originally I stayed for two nights, i liked the location, then the suite was in great condition. I extended my stay for two more days got two different rooms each time equally nice and clean. Great value for a family stay or short visit.

Positives: price, location (very close to the beach). Flexible, cozy and easy check in/check out process. Negative: one of the rooms (15) was vey outdated. The smell was horrendous. The AC didn’t work properly and the bathroom toilet was broken.

Room had 2 full size beds… reasonably cozy and comfortable… a small table and chairs for 2… and a refrigerator and microwave, plus 2-burner hot plate; small cabinet with dishes, glasses, silverware, and a small coffee maker. Adequate for 2 people. BUT- only one sink (in bathroom) making dishes difficult to wash and dry. Plenty of towels and Roku TV made our stay quite good.

Sea step s is a reasonably prices place to stay in Pompano beach. The rooms are well worn but kept up well. The kitchens are a great perk helping keep your costs down by not having to eat every meal out($$). Plus you have somewhere to store some ice cream treats for those hot muggy days (all of them.) pool is clean and well kept

We stayed at this property 3rd time, it is great value, very convenient location (walking distance to supermarket and restaurants, one block to the beach). Pool was not as clean as I would like. Also I had a problem with WiFi connection, it did not require a password, and I was getting a warning that network was open and not secured. Despite assurance from the management, I did not feel comfortable using it for work or banking.

Nice enough for the price and location and convenience to the beach. Places to eat within a mile so it’s walkable. Outdoor area was great. One minor issue is we wanted to watch tv at night and needed a code to access apps on the Roku. Asked twice and told someone would come to our room and help. Never happened.

A hidden gem! Access to the beach across the street and a relaxing pool in a quiet and beautiful courtyard. Rooms are pretty standard, staff is friendly and accomodating. The only thing missing was some coffee in the morning 😉
