This is a lovely hotel in a fantastic location but we felt they were more interested in non-residents. We were disappointed with both the rooftop bar and the basement bar which we felt catered more for non-residents, especially at the weekend. The bar in reception did however meet our needs other than the occasion where a private function meant we had to go elsewhere for a drink. Other than that the staff were always very good and the room was also good, although hard to say that it was premium. We were however irritated that the window was broken and we were unable to open it. The hotel did say that they would see whether we could move the following day but it was apparent from outside that non of the external rooms had windows that opened. Sad to say that if we returned to Madrid we would stay elsewhere.

Very good service across the board. Slight hiccup being let into the wrong room to start with. Once we returned from lunch we could not get back into the room, I then noticed we had been let into the wrong room to start with, not the suite we had booked. This was swiftly rectified once I went down to reception and informed them of their mistake. The sky bar was extemely expensive for such basic drinks. Madrid is full of incredible locations at a fraction of the price being charged for drinks. The location is very good, right next to the busiest parts of Madrid. Its located down a small side street, allowing for a quieter entry.

The hotel was excellent, however they have a rooftop bar that is open until 1.00am - avoid a room in the 9th floor as the noise carries form the roof top bar on the 10th floor

I knew it was a special property from the start. We pulled up to Valet parking and the valet asked when we were leaving. He said the valet was $40 Euro but street parking was free until 8am the next day. He said we could pay the meter now and for $3.70 we could park to 11am the next day. He jumped in the back of the car and showed us where to park. That is the service at this hotel. He offered my wife a coffee. I tipped him $20 and he deserved it. Very high end property. Room was fantastic and bed super comfortable. They had slippers for us. Awesome shower. Room was large but we had an upgrade. Rooftop was nice but after one drink we went to a better one a couple doors down. It was $5.50 but amazing. The location of this hotel is perfect.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It is very pretty, clean & lively. The staff is super friendly & helpful. Rooftop bar has great views. It is in a great location for seeing all the sights.

Excellent hotel right in the heart of Madrid. As it's positioned just off the main road it is surprisingly quiet. Had a wonderful night's sleep. The only downside is there door to our room was right opposite our bed and wasn't soundproof so you could hear the other doors in the corridor banging in the morning. How ever large room was massive walk-in shower. Large bed, but it was two single beds pushed together yet they beds have separate bedding so not made up as a double bed which was requested. Still made up as two single beds which wasn't ideal. Reception team were very helpful and friendly. There is a rooftop terrace bar but not the best. Little but tired looking and not really comfortable or romantic. The only let down to the hotel but there are several rooftop bars within walking distance that have better settings so went there instead. Due to the proximity and the friendly team we would stay here again. I would just ask for a different style of room that doesn't have the door right opposite the bed.

The hotel is showing its age. Everything just looks worn out. Also the acoustics is not ideal. We could hear the alarm clock of the room next to us, and so did we hear their couple “quality time”. The lobby smell and scent is just awful and overwhelming. It didn’t feel like a five star hotel, for the price we paid. On the plus side, the AC worked really well, hot water was always available, The cleaning services were perfect, and the location is unmatched. Too bad it didn’t feel Like a luxury experience. Only book this hotel for less than 200 euro a night, it doesn’t worth more than that.

The room was very comfortable, quiet and very clean. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and polite (front desk, concierge, and room staff). I loved the breakfast buffet! excellent central location. One comment to improve: the room was a bit dark, and so was the lobby - it was hard to find a suitable place to read (other than the bed lamps which was great).

Great location in central Madrid. Walking distance from many tourist attractions such as Palace, Cathedral, Retiro Park, Prado and other great museums. Fashionable and comfortable room. Concierge was helpful. It's a bummer that there was a gap between glass door and the doorframe of the shower room so that toilet area got wet after shower.

O quarto é excelente , muito limpo e com ótimo tamanho. O que é oferecido no quarto supre completamente as necessidades ( pasta e escova de dentes, touca de banho, creme de corpo, shampoo e condicionador) além de chás variados e cafés expressos. Destaco a cordialidade das camareiras e de todos que nos atendem no Hotel.

Staff were extremely friendly & helpful especially Veronica at reception. Hotel is not so clean, room bathroom smells bad, at morning coffee at GF restaurant I got a cockroach in the cup. I’ll never stay at this place again.

Fantástico equipo, excelente servicio y limpieza. Sin duda, una las mejores estancias que he tenido. Gracias equipo NH Suecia, desde Pablo en el bar, hasta Javi y Mikel en recepción/ conserje, hasta la persona que ha limpiado nuestra habitación. Sois unos cracks!

The location of this Hotel is excellent, waking distance to many areas. Service at front desk, concierge and bell desk is great, special mention to Lidia, Javier and Daniel. But I was very disappointed with the comfort and functionality of the room, we booked a jr suite, the sq footage is ok but the size of the bathroom is ridiculous specially the toilet and shower, the way the sink is positioned is very uncomfortable as well. The Jr suite has a seating area which is nice but it is very dark at night, same as the main room, this is be my main complaint, the room is very dark, just bedside table lights and an LED reading lamp. The hallways are VERY dark as well. To me the scent in the elevators and lobby is very strong, ‘patchouli’ most of the time and it can be a bit disturbing if you spend time in the lobby and elevators. Breakfast is basic and can be improved. Overall a good stay but I will consider other options on my next visit because of the darkness of the hallways and room.

The location was fabulous, the rooms were clean and the hotel bar/restaurant was vibrant. What was not great was the late night clubbing music I could hear from my room and the hotel is listed as a 5 start and while it is decent it is pretty basic to be rated 5 star.

The hotel was very nice. Odd layout that you enter the hotel and have to climb a load of stairs with heavy suitcases to get to the reception desk. Check in process and staff member was extremely cold and robotic. Failed to mention the roof top terrace was closed which was a massive let down and they were just dismissive of this. Room was spacious but shower leaked everywhere. Great location but that's about it.

Hotel is in a great location. Close to train station and some parks. Lots of restaurants nearby and you can walk to many attractions including the Prado museum. Also a short walk to Neptune fountain where lots of tour companies pick people up from. The room was spacious enough for our family of 3. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again if back in Madrid.

Excellent! This hotel was the first stop on our Spain vacation and it was lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped with nice amenities. I decided to stay at this hotel as it was my husbands special birthday. We were going to have a family get together on the rooftop bar but we found out that it was not open due to a wedding event.
