Fantasy Island Resort, Daytona Beach Shores

The office was closed for check in and check out, the pool was closed and basically demolished... no beach entrance. Very outdated room, and VERY HUMID in the room. Woke up with a painful throat.

Extreme disappointment the hotel pool is closed and removed. The back area is blocked and makes it so it's not possible to get to the beach from this hotel. We were not made aware of this issue. And the website does NOT display and issues with hotel.

Nice people but we were expecting something bigger for the price. But excellent access to the beach 24/7 very quiet area. Very small parking lot though

We only stayed a couple days but it was super comfortable and clean. Love that we had efficiency rooms to do a bit of cooking. This place allows smoking on grounds but not in rooms. Being a smoker, I appreciated that but I also appreciated how respectful all the smokers were, including myself. Lots of receptacles available and they are kept clean and organized. It IS possible to be a respectful and clean smoker. Pool area is gorgeous and this place is right on the beach! We really had a nice time and felt very comfortable there.

The people above us must of been playing basketball in their room. The room was worth the price we paid for it. Nice pool area! Love the tables outside the rooms, but not that you could smoke at them, right outside our room.

The property was in the middle of rebuilding after a hurricane in 2022. We were not informed by Expedia of the condition of the property. We would not have booked if know of the property damages. No pool and our view was particularly blooked because of construction, and no beach access on property.

The front desk help was very friendly, all the other workers we meet was friendly and helpful! Our room was real clean! They offered a washer and dryer! Our room had everything we needed, stocked and clean! I will be booking our next stay for here as well! They also have a heated pool with ocean view!

We stayed a couple days during the week of July 4th. Great location right by the beach. The kids enjoyed the pool more than the beach.

STAY HERE!! Now I won't deny it, some of the interior cabinets and furniture do need to be replaced.... there is a mildew water smell in the cabinets and drawers which I would suggest all get replaced. I do understand there was water damage, but no one wants to deal with mold if it's not taken care of. Otherwise everything and everyone were absolutely amazing!!! Parking was great, the pool was beautiful, private beach access was right through the pool area. Wifi ran smoothly, tv was good, beds were super comfy.... definitely add more blankets to the beds or bring your own. Fresh towels every morning that I needed and the ladies WERE AMAZING!!! ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC EMPLOYEES!! Loved them all!!! Laundry was free and easily accessible as well. We will definitely be back. My boys and I really had a nice, relaxing week. Thank you again!! See you soon!!

The Room was AWESOME!!! CLEAN FRESH AND VERY WELL MAINTAINED... LOVE THE SERVICE TOO. HOPE we can git this same room again next year...Room # 245...The Best!!!

I love how this motel is right on the ocean and has a pool. The rooms are clean and have a stove, refrigerator, sink, and dishwasher. This was the second gone k stayed here and I love it!

The studio Apt. Was excellent but the let out couch bed was not comfortable at all & as a guest me & my wife had to make our own bed & take out the trash as guest that’s not expected of us to do

Nice room floor needed cleaning feet black after 5 minutes of walking around . Very limited and confusing parking

Found hair in the supposedly clean bath towels. Toliet always running. No tv remote. Floors were sandy when we arrived. Dishes looked dirty so we didnt use. Hard to open door. Give 3 different keys and not told which one was for door or what the other 2 were for. Everything smelled of smoke. Not to happy with this place. Will not be back. Pictures were nothing like the hotel.

ROOMS DIDN'T HAVE A GOOD CLEAN SMELL, AND NOT ALL THE SHEETS AND PILLOWS WERE CLEAN. ALSO THERE WAS TO MUCH SMOKERS AROUND AND CHECK-IN COMUNICATION WASN'T THE BEST.

Amazing place, very clean. We were traveling through the area and only stayed one night but I could see myself staying here for a week or more. Very spacious, a whole kitchen well stocked with everything thing you have at home (except the food), a very comfortable Murphy bed and an extra sleeper sofa. The place was very clean but the room was overpowered by the smell of cleaning solution to the point of burning our throats. We wiped things down and aired the room out and that seemed to help. There are time constraints on check in, between 3-5 pm, we were able to make it work this time. I will be bookmarking this place for future possible trips.

Where to start, we show up to check in to our room and walk in to an unoccupied office that was not locked and nobody was on duty. After calling the number on rhe window to tell someonewe were there to check into our room that we had reserved they tell us we are not in the system, then say we might be next door on another propertywith the same name so we walk over , we were not in that system as well and went back , we were told again that we have no reervation under my name, finally after 40 minutes of back and forth on the phone they finally find us in the system and the only reason they dis not find us was becauseof theincompetence of the office staff who didn'tdo there job, then had to wait for another 20 minutes to have someone drive tot rhe property to check us in, my wife and i exhaustedat this point asked if there was a room on the first floor available becauseof me having a bad spine and right leg, and being in pain from a 2 1/2 hour motorcyle ride, we were told no and why what's the problem? Like really? Accommodatingmy ass, and yes were rooms available the whole time on the first floor not taken suring our 2 day stay, now for the supposed queen bed in the description turning out to be a POS murphy bed...it was like sleeping on plywood with padding i am now in more pain then before we got there, air condition was mediocre at best and made for a hot and uncomfortable sleep, oh and lets start on the list of rules they give for guests, then a $30 clean bill we do?

Great little property, staff was really nice & timeshare owners were friendly. (Except for the rowdy ones next door at Fantasy II.) Bathroom a tad small, but it's an older property. Murphy bed was comfortable. Having a dehumidifier in the room was ok, just had to unplug when we didn't want it running.

This was an amazing stay, and I will absolutely return! This is basically a 1 bedroom beach style condo unit with a full kitchen. It was basically perfect, and the view from the room's balcony directly overlooks the beach. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful, 10 stars for them! The area was quiet and peaceful, and the locals were friendly as well.

Very nice room except beds are single mattress with box springs so little uncomfortable. Office staff were great.

Everything was great, location perfect, staff were all pleasant and helpful.

My stay was great! Check in was super easy. They were friendly. Location is right on the beach even if you dont have the ocean front view. Everything was clean and convenient. If you're looking for a place where you can pack your bags and have a home away from home this is for you!

We were able to check in early. Rooms were clean. They had everything that we needed in our room, such as paper towels, utensils, etc. Friendly staff. Reasonable priced.

The property was perfect. The staff is amazing, would highly recommend this property. We stayed an extra night. No complaints at all, just perfect.

The front desk was closed at 5 and we couldn't gain access to our room. No number to call and the did not send us a code for a lock box. Had to book another hotel.

the front desk people were amazing, amazing people. on the other hand the cleaners (a shorter white elder lady) was very disrespectful! towards my girlfriend i would never go back again !

The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfortability. The suite was clean, it was comfortable, it was very cozy and almost like an apartment which made us feel right at home.

It's a little strange how the check-in and check-out process works. We arrived at night, I had already called earlier and the keys were in an old locker, we had the password, everything worked out. There was a leak in the refrigerator and it was fixed in the morning but no credit was offered for the inconvenience. Complimentary parking was great.

Me and my boyfriend went to see my sick grandma. The property was very clean, miner issues with appliances. Staff super friendly and helpful. The pool was under construction which made the Private beach access closed which was inconvenient but a public access was two hotels down. For anyone that wants a full kitchen with the bells and whistles this is your place!
