What a beautiful place to stay. The Gables is a gorgeous house and our room was excellent. Very comfortable with an exceptionally nice ensuite bathroom. Angus is the perfect host, very knowledgeable about the area and only too happy to advise you on places to eat, visit etc. Very nice, tasty breakfast too. We would definitely hope to stay here again one day.

The room and facilities were first class. Very helpful host who really made is feel welcome. The breakfast was excellent, top quality. All in all an excellent stay. Thank you.

The Gables is everyone's home away from home! It's the most beautifully appointed home, the very epitome of genteel luxury and Angus and Claire couldn't be better, warmer and fantastic hosts. Their hospitality, care and warmth were wonderful and their attention to detail legendary! We are already planning when we can go back!

We spent a lovely day here and Angus is a fantastic host - very knowledgable and helpful. The room was beautiful and we had a great breakfast the next day. Can highly recommend. Set in fantastic countryside about 10 mins drive from Berwick-Upon-Tweed town.
