Place was easy to find and check in was nice and quick. Love the look of the log buildings. Spacious room with two chairs and table as well as a table and chairs just outside our door on the porch with nice flowers in the planter. The rooms were off the main road behind the main building. Would stay again.

Had a large quiet room on the top floor. Enjoyed the outdoor patio table. Would suggest that these tables be designated non-smoking. Also suggest that there be one outside table provided for each room. Overall enjoyed our stay.

The lodge is full of history and character. We love staying there. Very comfortable and clean and staff are awesome. It’s convenient and has loads of parking if you’re pulling a trailer. The after hours phone line was not working and that could have posed a problem. But they were rvery receptive to the information about that. We love the place. Food is great too!

Property was convenient and easy to find. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. I didn't realise that the rooms are "motel" style so along a passage, away from main lodge, as we had a room at car park level we had to have curtains closed ( foot path passed our room) so room dark, our issue orhers may not mind folks potentially looking in. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean but looked old and in need of a refurb. Ate in restaurant and food was good diner food.

Cariboo Lodge is in a lovely location and convenient when traveling through. Although many of the rooms were booked the management didn't adequately staff for the number of people dining at the restaurant or checking in. One person checking people into rooms at the same time they are taking orders and delivering food is inadequate and disrespectful to the staff on duty as well as to the patrons.

No front desk person, have to check in at the pub. Restaurant not open except for breakfast. Food at pub was mediocre at best and took forever as no staff. Rooms are very outdated, beds bad, had to call several times to get someone to fix TV as no service, and way too expensive for what you get. Will not stay there again

Great hospitality, super friendly staff. Pub staff even made us food after the kitchen closed as we didn't realize it shut down earlier and a forgotten wallet was returned to our room later that night. Can't say enough good things. Will definitely return

The staff at check in were wonderful and helpful. The staff in the restaurant in particular Nikki was amazing and the maintenance man Bruce was a great guy. We really enjoyed our stay there.

This is a place we have stayed several times on our travels north and south on highway 97. Convenient and good pub food.

This is a place we have stayed several times on our travels north and south on highway 97. Convenient and good pub food.

Rolled the dice on this place, as we are not from the area, and it was the right choice! Stopped for the night, pub was nice with good beer and food. Room was adequate, and clean. Breakfast was great in the restaurant the next morning, and we were off. Will stay in the future if we are passing through!

Great stay at the Cariboo Lodge. Our room was exceptionally clean and had all amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Very friendly staff, helpful and available. Dinner at the pub had excellent service and good food at a reasonable price. Lovely outside seating area both at Pub and grassy area around lodge. Highly recommend!

The fridge would not get cold. The place to get ice was unaccessible. The tub drained slowly. I hate standing in dirty water. No device chargers. The room was clean. The bartender was great. The bar was great. Did not have breakfast.

The Lodge is an ideal stopping off point to break up trips to Vancouver Island. We have stayed there a few times and have always found it clean and comfortable with beds that afford us a good night's sleep.

The person at the front desk (restaurant side) wasn’t welcoming but the staff on the pub were amazing and watched her check in guests and served the pub clients all with a smile on her face.

Everything you need in one place. Quiet room even though the highway is 100 yards away. Food in the pub is great, and breakfast in the restaurant in the morning is very enjoyable.
