The Tay Inn is an incredibly nice, clean motel. The owners are extremely nice and make you feel really welcome. We love being able to drive right up to your door to unload and load. The price is excellent.

Tay Inn was exactly what we were looking for as we moved our son from Ottawa to Toronto. Nice big parking lot to park the UHaul truck! The owner was so wonderful and even called us 20 minutes after we left to let us know that I left my kindle in the room. Thank you so much!! Room was a decent size, fridge, coffee maker and microwave came in handy. Nice to have two chairs outside to enjoy our coffee in the morning. Right beside Perth Brewery which has some really nice beers (try the ginger beer!). Would stay here again.

This is an exceptionally clean, brand new motel. The rooms are spotless, towels are new. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There's plenty of parking. It was a perfect stay.

The Tay Inn is one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed in. One could literally smell the cleaning materials in our room. We noticed on checking out that not only the sheets were being washed but also the bedspreads which is not common practice. Small rooms with everything one could possibly need and looked as if it was newly renovated, including new windows. Parking right outside our room. Friendly owner actively was involved in the room cleaning. A one night stay en route back vacation. Price was amazing. Definitely would recommend this location, and I’m fussy

The Tay Inn is the cleanest, most comfortable motel I have ever stayed in. It is so convenient to anywhere you wish to go in Perth. It has everything you need. A very comfortable bed and pillows, a fridge, microwave, t.v., fabulous shower and table and chairs. The owners and their family are lovely people who greet you warmly upon arrival. There isn’t anything better!

The only thing i didn't like was the air freshener they used in the room ...when we walked into the room it was so strong i immediately got a headache and had to open windows and leave room for a few hours...came back could stil, smell it but was more bareable...could still smell it the next day. It was very unpleasant!

Very clean although they must have sprayed air fresheners before I arrived as it was very strong scent. Once it aired out it was fine but was rather intense at first Best sleep I had in a motel in awhile. It is on the highway and the other side is train track but I’m a sound sleeper so didn’t bother me. Would definitely stay again 😊

Staff were welcoming and keep rooms very clean. The rooms are small, but affordable compared to the rest of the accommodations in town. Walls seemed thin though, so it wasn’t a very quiet stay.

It does the job for the night. It’s super clean and the people are super nice. If you’re a light sleeper a train might wake you up tho. But it’s not constant so it’s okay. Anywho good experience:)

I asked if there was a wheelchair accessible room as my husband had just had ankle surgery and couldn’t walk. I was given the room that was easiest to access with a wheelchair and our stay went very well. The gentleman at check in and check out was very friendly and accommodating. Also the beds were very comfortable and I like that the room haf a mini fridge, microwave and coffee. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our recent 2 night stay at Tay Inn. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and with air conditioning worked well. The owners were a friendly and helpful couple. The Inn was conveniently located to many shops and a short drive to downtown Perth. We would stay there again and highly recommend it.

We stayed here again, for 2 nights this time in August. The place is clean and frankly it seems like it's a new hotel, as it's so well taken care of. The owners are very pleasant and easy to talk with. The location in Perth is handy for us, as while it's on the highway, it's set back pretty far and the traffic sound doesn't affect my sleep at all. There are comfortable plastic chairs out in front of most (all ?) rooms and often folks will sit out there and watch the traffic while chatting. We sat outside and it was very pleasant. As I'm a coffee hound, I have found I can put a 8-12 basket coffee filter and use ground coffee in their coffee machine to make unlimited number of pots of coffee. I use the non-refrigerated coffee creamers to make it very pleasant, although the room fridge could easily hold a container of milk/cream.

We stayed here again, for 2 nights this time in August. The place is clean and frankly it seems like it's a new hotel, as it's so well taken care of. We enjoyed our stay. Very clean and everything you need. Bathrooms well equipped with grab bars and the shower had a built in seat. Great for seniors! Staff is friendly and helpful.
