An incredible place. Luckilly saw a small heard of cariboo on the way in. Next day saw bison and spent some time with the swans and ducks only a short walk from the front door. Great staff and rooms!

Property looks old but it has a cottage feel. The sliding door leading to the backyard in my room was faulty so I didn’t get to enjoy the outside greenery connecting to my room. Food was amazing but pricey. I didn’t get to try the spa, everything was fully booked.

The restaurant dining area wasn’t clean, the food was ok, expensive considering it was all pre-made and there was no chef. The Nordic spa was ok the ‘hot bath’ wasn’t that hot, it was only around 99-100 degrees.

Everyone on staff was super friendly and ready to help. The rooms were clean, they were ready to accomodate for our disability without any problems. We could eat on location, so no need to leave the resort. They have everything including a gym (for all) and the spa has the nordic pool, hot tub, and cold tub. They also have other spa things like tanning bed, mani and pedicures, etc. We were sad the wolf cabins were so expensive but they have a small number of cabins anyway. Besides that we were able to book the wagon tour and still see the wolves and the other animals on the property. We loved the experience and would recommend this as one of Timmons best jewel.

The staff were cheerful and friendly. The restaurant was very nice. The room was only ok. It had not been cleaned as well as it should. The hot water only got warm and the room was very dark ( needed my reading lamp to do work on my laptop).

Shower had broken shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser. Fell off the wall and just sitting on side of tub, bed was sagging, husband couldn’t sleep because he kept rolling into me, floors looked horrible as they were separated and edges were swollen. Restaurant food was good but it took over an hour to get a piece of meat the size of a plum. Very run down since the last time I stayed there a year ago

La première chambre qu'on m'a donné sentait très mauvais, l'humidité et de façon très fort. Je n'ai pas pu resté plus de 2 min., j'ai demandé une autre chambre. La deuxième chambre sentait moins, mais à l'intérieur de quelques heures a aussi débuté une grande odeur désagréable... C'est très vieux, c'est le temps que les choses soient rénové, j'ai l'impression que ça n'a pas été rénové depuis 30 ans, sauf peut-être le planché de la salle de bain. Je ne suis pas certaine de vouloir y retourné... mais c'est peut-être pus sécuritaire que bien d'autres endroits à Timmins, ville qui semble avoir beaucoup de problème, surtout au centre-ville.

The room was shabby & run down. Broken door handles & locks, ripped chair upholstery, stained walls & doors. Black out curtain was old with many holes. Bathroom & beds were clean. Evening desk clerk was abrupt and not welcoming. Morning desk clerk was pleasant and professional. The grounds are well maintained with interesting wildlife. I would not stay here again because of the condition of the room and the reception I received when checking in.

For some reason we lucked out with the honeymoon suite. Place is clean and quiet. Loved the animals on site from Buffalo to wolves. Restaurant is very good. I had the prime rib special. Excellent.

Horribly managed! They never have Expedia bookings! Booked in July for a snowmobile trip. Ended up on a pull out couch as the never check Expedia reservations. Expedia users beware and book elsewhere!

Third time making a reservation via Expedia and they don’t have it in file. Back in July I booked two nights for this winter, Super Bowl Sunday and last night. Had to call two months ago to make sure they had my reservation. Did so because last year the same things occurred. I had a booked, prepaid room with Expedia and the resort has no room for me. Anyhow,Sunday I confirmed again and lo and behold, when I arrived Wednesday I had no room and the property was sold out. They put me in a cabin off property with one bed and a broken pull out couch. Never staying there again and highly recommend others to book elsewhere!

It was an excellent weekend. Only negative was the check in process. Not at all friendly and never once offered us info on what was available. They likely missed out on taking some of our money. 🙂. Check out was better but still no thank yous or hope to see you again. Would not stop us from staying again though. The rest of the staff was amazing.

One thing I think should be noted was the front desk person was NOT in a good mood at all.. The hotel said pets were allowed yet she was not impressed to see my little dog with me.. said there were no rooms on the first floor and it took 30 minutes to check in she was rude the whole time and made us feel super uncomfortable being there... The whole reason we booked there was for our dog.. If you are going to have pets permitted- be prepared for that .

The property is lovely, the rooms are spcious and clean, the staff helpful and friendly and the food in the restaurant was superb! I loved the artwork! Especially the beautiful paintings of wolves

The property is lovely, the rooms are spcious and clean, the staff helpful and friendly and the food in the restaurant was superb! I loved the artwork! Especially the beautiful paintings of wolves

Smooth check in, room was as advertised and dinner at the restaurant was awesome. Lise looked after us with great care and the food was delicious. Good sleep, great omelette for breakie... and home sweet home. Thanks for another great overnight visit!

Tried calling front desk a few times no answer and restaurant closed Monday's for breakfast. For the price you pay they should at least have coffee avaliable on Monday and not coffee machine in the room. The place s quiet and very clean

The restaurant dining area wasn’t clean, the food was ok, expensive considering it was all pre-made and there was no chef. The Nordic spa was ok the ‘hot bath’ wasn’t that hot, it was only around 99-100 degrees.

Cedar Resorts has gone downhill since we last stayed there (20 years ago). Our "upgraded" room was terrible. A/C not turned on before we arrived and the A/C in the bedroom was leaking on the floor. The controls for the A/C not responsive .... very frustrating. Same with the TVs dated and the remotes did work. The kitchenette had no utensils/plates/cups of any kind.... why have one if you can't use it. A lamp in the bedroom was almost falling over. The bathroom did have a towel rack .... too many issues to write about. Overall I would never stay at this place again.

Enjoyed one night with our adult kids and grandchildren. The young ones were so excited to see the wolves from our cabin as there was 5 little cubs that had recently been born. They enjoyed watching the whole pack play with the cubs.

For $300 a night stay to not be allowed pool or hot tub access is just ridiculous 🙄 It's an extra $48 per person to enjoy pool area and that's only for the time your there. Once you leave time's up! The bathroom floor in room looked like a poop stain on floor, no - broken bathroom hooks on door. Floors weren't cleaned at all. Would not stay again!!!

Appreciated the quiet location, pretty grounds, good resto attached and good and staff there excellent. Less impressed with the busted coffee maker had to ask 2x to have fixed and bathroom door that wouldn’t stay open. Tired tired decor but gorgeous eagles nesting on property made up for it.
