The hotel is small and intimate. Our cottage faced the garden and pool but had a sea view as well. The location is OK. Our taxi took us all the way to reception, but if you dont have a motorbike it's a bit of a walk to the restaurants on the busy main road - no sidewalks there. You can walk to Thomas beach back up off the main road, down a very long, steep stairway. The room is large and very comfortable. The staff are excellent! Desi and the others took great care of our every need. The AC was making noise but they repaired it as soon as possible. Beware, however, there is a popular beach club next door and one night they held a massive party until midnight. The hotel tried to warn us via email after we booked but we did not read it in time to change the booking. They comped us dinner. The restaurant has a limited menu but everything we ordered was excellent. Highly recommend Uluwatu Cottages. Contact the hotel directly, not through the hotel app, to see if there will be a party next door before booking.

Absolutely everything about the stay here was amazing, the room was beautiful, food and drink fantastic, pool was great and with the views it was the perfect spot. Staff were extremely wonderful. Can’t wait to go back!

A stunning setting, fantastic views, gorgeous planting. Sadly, the property, especially the pool area requires maintenance. Pool tiles are missing in many places, the pool water stings your eyes suggesting the PH levels are not neutral. Some of the room facilities need replacing eg toilet seat and some fixtures and fittings were loose. In summary, we had a lovely stay but the hotel did fall a little below our expectations.

As per usual the staff were absolute beautiful. The place was amazing with a Balinese feel and monkeys coming and going was a bit of a treat. With a continuous ocean view as far as the eyes can see from the infinity pool as well from the restaurant. Absolute hidden gem being a 5 minute walk to the Main Street. We actually booked extra nights. That how good this place is👍

We arrived at night and the road in looks dodgy but this could not be further from the truth. The position is amazing, with stunning views including from the lovely pool. Our complimentary breakfast was exceptional.

This place has potential. Great service and decent food, plus great location. Pool also nice. The rooms need updating and some TLC. Had an issue with the door right away, where it wasn’t lining up properly to lock, but staff immediately helped and fixed it. The shower… I’ll just say the rooms need updating. The safes need to be bigger for laptops.

Loved our stay! The breakfast was a full breakfast amazing! Multiple choices! We had an early flight so would have missed it but they had the kitchen box one up for us so we could pick it up at 4AM for our flight! Pool was beautiful! Relaxing place and very close to restaurants!

The view from the property is stunning, right on the cliff's edge and the staff are amazing, helpful and so friendly. However, the property and rooms in particular are quite run down. We had stained, dirty sheets and filthy floors and walls. Also, there are massive gaps between the sliding villa doors and the outside world (there is no seal on the doors) so all kinds of creatures can enter your room - We had a snake greet us at the front door, coming out of our room as we returned after the day out, staff had to kill it on our door step. The worst part though, Ulu Cliffhouse is directly next door so if you get a room backing onto Ulu Cliffhouse, you will have to deal with unbearable bass and music/noise from the club until all hours of the evening. We ended up checking out 3 days early and finding another property as we couldn't stand the noise after 1 night. If you're after a quiet stay, try and request a room away from Ulu Cliffhouse or choose another property. I cannot stress how lovely and approachable the staff were though.

This hotel is extremely price worthy. It has a beautiful location, cozy guest rooms, clean everywhere over all and is close to a lot of restaurants and stores. We loved our stay. You van tell that the hotels been running for years but overall it’s very fresh and clean everywhere. They also offer massage for a cheap price at the hotel which was great. Overall an amazing spot to spend you vacation on!

Lovely place to stay in Uluwatu right in the middle of everything. Easy to get around and walkable to a few restaurants and shops. Yoga offered on weekdays at the resort next door. They were able to upgrade me to a wooden cottage, which was lovely, but was located right next to the restaurant and therefore loud early morning and in the evenings. A pack of monkeys came through and though they caused some trouble, it was a really neat experience.

Hotel op een prachtige locatie met dito uitzicht. De kamers zijn ruim, maar is toe aan een metamorfose. Is niet meer van deze tijd. De TV is ongeveer zo groot al een A3. De prijs van de kamer vond ik dan ook veel te hoog. De omgeving is weer wel mooi.

The hotel is small and intimate. Our cottage faced the garden and pool but had a sea view as well. The location is OK. Our taxi took us all the way to reception, but if you dont have a motorbike it's a bit of a walk to the restaurants on the busy main road - no sidewalks there. You can walk to Thomas beach back up off the main road, down a very long, steep stairway. The room is large and very comfortable. The staff are excellent! Desi and the others took great care of our every need. The AC was making noise but they repaired it as soon as possible. Beware, however, there is a popular beach club next door and one night they held a massive party until midnight. The hotel tried to warn us via email after we booked but we did not read it in time to change the booking. They comped us dinner. The restaurant has a limited menu but everything we ordered was excellent. Highly recommend Uluwatu Cottages. The view from the property is stunning, right on the cliff's edge and the staff are amazing, helpful and so friendly. However, the property and rooms in particular are quite run down. We had stained, dirty sheets and filthy floors and walls. Also, there are massive gaps between the sliding villa doors and the outside world (there is no seal on the doors) so all kinds of creatures can enter your room - We had a snake greet us at the front door, coming out of our room as we returned after the day out, staff had to kill it on our door step. The worst part though, Ulu Cliffhouse is directly next door so if you get a room backing onto Ulu Cliffhouse, you will have to deal with unbearable bass and music/noise from the club until all hours of the evening. We ended up checking out 3 days early and finding another property as we couldn't stand the noise after 1 night. If you're after a quiet stay, try and request a room away from Ulu Cliffhouse or choose another property. I cannot stress how lovely and approachable the staff were though.

As per usual the staff were absolute beautiful. The place was amazing with a Balinese feel and monkeys coming and going was a bit of a treat. With a continuous ocean view as far as the eyes can see from the infinity pool as well from the restaurant. Absolute hidden gem being a 5 minute walk to the Main Street. We actually booked extra nights. That how good this place is👍

Loved our stay! The breakfast was a full breakfast amazing! Multiple choices! We had an early flight so would have missed it but they had the kitchen box one up for us so we could pick it up at 4AM for our flight! Pool was beautiful! Relaxing place and very close to restaurants!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful (mostly very relaxing) location. The service was excellent & we enjoyed the restaurant. The only thing that disturbed us was the noise from the club next door until 1am on Sat night. We were in a double on that side of the resort so might not affect all rooms equally. Sunday night was quiet so we slept well then. Would recommend a stay but we would try to book a suite on the quieter side next time.

Absolutely everything about the stay here was amazing, the room was beautiful, food and drink fantastic, pool was great and with the views it was the perfect spot. Staff were extremely wonderful. Can’t wait to go back!

The view is BREATHTAKING. This alone should give this hotel 4 stars. Food & drinks from the on site restaurant is delicious and everything is perfectly priced. Definitely recommend this for anyone’s stay in Uluwatu

This place is a must stay on our return to Bali. We stayed in 4 locations on our trip and this one stole the show. Small, stunning views, excellent food, nice people. We especially loved the view from the restaurant and the pools. Our room was a real treat, clean, modern and stunning environment, the monkeys swinging in at dawn were an extra bonus.

Our stay at Uluwatu cottages was fabulous! The staff was very helpful and kind. The scenery was beautiful & the meals were tasty. They arranged a ride to pick us up from the airport which was much appreciated. We stayed in the cottage closest to the neighboring lot, which was under construction. You could hear it upon waking in the morning and throughout the day. It wasn’t loud enough to negatively affect our experience.
