We have stayed at the Cambria twice in the last six months, both times for over a week. We like the hotel a lot, and it is near our daughter’s apartment. We use the exercise room almost daily, and find it clean, spacious and loaded with useful equipment. Our rooms have been attractive, the bed is comfortable, and we appreciate the small kitchenette counter. The only thing that might make it a little more useful would be a small microwave. We like the large shower, and the large bathroom counter. The lobby is gorgeous and filled with comfortable seating. We appreciate the free laundry facilities. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The first time we stayed at the Cambria, Boston was in the middle of a blizzard, and we spent a warm and comfortable day beside the fireplace, watching the snowplows go by. This last time, Boston was in the middle of a heat wave, and the hotel provided a lovely cool respite. The Cambria is a winner no matter the weather. Best of all, there’s a Market Basket a five minute walk away.

3rd time staying here. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We enjoy the lobby lounge area. It’s a comfortable and generally quiet space to relax in. It’s also nice to be able to get drinks from the restaurant and take them anywhere. The gym space has the necessities to get a good work out. The beds and linens are comfortable. It’s also nice to have separate A/C for the bedroom and living room. The only thing I can think of to change is have a fan/vent in the bathroom. Minor detail, but it would make a difference. It’s in a good location that is quiet and low-key but it’s easy to get around to anything in Somerville, Cambridge, Boston, etc. there are a few good places for food and drink within walking distance, and many more a short taxi/uber away.
