Got a room by the pool was so happy we planed to swim a lot. But pool was out of order. Had to go next door to pool and as I have trouble walking and use a cane we only got to go one time. But the people were very friendly and room was nice.

The pool in the picture looks way better than it actually was. It was dirty and very cold. Only one floor had a working ice maker and it was very outdated. The rooms always are not as spacious as you would think. Staff was however friendly.

I selected this property because they offer exclusive, free EV charging. The evening before I was to check out I intended to charge my car overnight for the drive home. I had returned to the hotel late and two non-EVs occupied the spaces, so I wasn’t able to charge. I had to go to a commercial charger and spent over $30. When I asked the night staff to have one of the vehicles removed they refused! Apparently inconveniencing me was a ok, but removing the parking violators was a bridge too far. I won’t be back.

I booked for 2 nights but stayed for 1 and requested a refund. The bathroom did not appear to be cleaned. There was a pile of dirt and hair in one corner. Toilet seat had suspicious smudges on it. The bed pillows had dirt streaks and hair. It felt almost deliberately I cleaned as the front of the pillows all appeared clean until you flipped them to the other side where all the dirt was found. The front desk staff didn’t come out from the back office to help me for several minutes when I was trying to check in. I’m ok with imperfect hotel rooms but not for the price I was paying. Will not be returning.

Hotel property backs up to interstate highway. It was very noisy from the traffic all night. Interrupted my sleep. Also, my room had a very musty smell from the moment I walked in. I tried turning the air conditioner colder to see if it would remove the smell. It didn’t make a difference. I talked to the hotel staff about it several times and was offered a room spray (disinfectant). Talked to hotel manager in the morning about the smell and he didn’t offer any solutions like moving me to another room. I decided to check in to a different hotel for the remainder of my trip.

It seems nice enough upon arrival in lobby but upon getting into our 1st room, the refrigerator was sitting in the middle of the room leaking water all over the floor, they apologized and switched us to another room. The 2nd room was disgusting, specifically the beds. They were both made, but I could immediately see dirt and makeup on the pillows, I pulled back the sheets and was utterly disgusted. There were large soiled areas as well as dirt, makeup and a few other unknown substances all over the sheets. The towels were folded but looked dirty. I called the front desk requested all new bedding, but after waiting a while decided I couldn’t stay in that room. We went back down to the front desk and young lady was nice and provided us with another room (3rd times a charm right?). Upon entry to our 3rd room it smelled of cigarette smoke/dirty ashtray. Otherwise the room appeared to be nice enough & the sheets seemed clean, but when we walked into the bathroom, the entire ceiling as well as the grout had black mold spots all over. To top it off, were charged 4 times the normal rate because it was Purdue’s Family weekend and demand was high. I would hope someone in Best Western Management would read this review so that they can improve their cleaning and room inspection practices.

Another Patel Cartel Hotel. The room was very worn and dirty. There were hairs around the sink and the bathtub was clogged so much that the previous visitor’s filth was permeating the water I was standing in. There was a missing light fixture, water stains on the ceiling, and exposed wires where the smoke detector used to be. If you’re deciding between hotels, don’t choose this one.

The bed sheets had blood stains on the top. The second room did look OK, until I pulled the sheets off of the bed. Inside were blood stains and dried, what looked to be, some sort of organic material. Discusting.

I enjoyed staying here. The room and bathroom were clean. The breakfast offered many choices- cereal, eggs, sausage and gravy, waffles, yogurt, bagels, toast. More fruit would have been nice. The only complaint was road noise was very noticeable.

Very, Very loud. not really the hotels fault. The freeway is 50 yards from the front door and is approximately the same decibel level as a chainsaw when outside. Inside is only marginally better. Staff was friendly and the place was clean but I didn't sleep. The state of Indiana DOT really needs to fix this.

Room was newly renovated. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner. The shower in particular, found some mold spots that shouldn’t be there. The only other issue is its proximity to Rt 65. The highway noise is very if you are on that side of the hotel. If I wasn’t so tired I may have been awakened by the noise.

Nice stay, clean well maintained. Did not enjoy the third floor experience facing the highway- road noise. Pool was small but well maintained. many guests but remained quiet. Also the smell of pot in our hall was not enjoyed, not hotels fault.

The highway noise from 1-65 is unbearably loud. All rooms with 2 queen beds are highway-facing. They need to install better windows on that side to reduce the noise. I've stayed at many motels near highways, and I've never experienced that level of noise. Earplugs did not help. Breakfast supposedly goes until 9:00, but the eggs and sausage were empty at 8:40. Finally at 8:57 I told the woman at the front desk. She rudely said they would not bring out more. However, when I finally saw a staff member in the kitchen, she did bring out more for me. I needed to fill up my water bottle for a long drive. I knew there was a sink on the other side of the partially-closed door to the breakfast area. It was 11:00 and I also knew breakfast was closed. I didn't think filling up my water bottle would be a problem. The same rude front desk woman yelled at me to not go in there. I asked if there was a place where I could fill up my water bottle. Instead of having a normal customer service attitude and saying I could go ahead and use the sink in the breakfast area, she said I could fill it up in the bathroom. The bathroom was locked, so I filled my water bottle with ice from the ice machine, and then with hot water from the Thermos in the lobby. As I was facing a long drive in my sleep-deprived state, pumping the nearly-empty hot water Thermos 20 times to fill up my ice-filled water bottle, I reflected on the absurdity of the situation. PS Another guest told me the pool was ice cold.

It was so nice to arrive at the hotel fairly late in the evening and be greeted by a smiling employee. The room was beautiful and quiet. We were a little concerned by the proximity to the highway, but there was little to no noise noticeable in the room.

Clean, very friendly and helpful, breakfast was plentiful. The beds were VERY firm. If this bothers you, as it did my back, then perhaps a different hotel. My travel partner did not have an issue with the firmness of the bed. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay.

Where do I begin? I promised myself 20 years ago to never patronize a Best Western ever again after a nightmare experience. Unfortunately it was the only hotel available in the area for my son's graduation from Purdue. I reluctantly booked the overpriced room out of desperation. When I arrived, there was a friendly note advising the front desk staff stepped away. Come to find out the front desk staff was on perpetual smoke breaks. When she greeted me I was offered a room on the first or second floor so I chose the first. Not sure if that was a mistake because the room was dirty, a light out, and had an odor. There was no remote for the TV so I had to go the front desk but eventually called the number on the sign to get her attention. She was able to provide us with a remote. Since it was nice outside, I asked where the outdoor seating was they showed in the online photos and was told the gazebo is behind the dumpster. I hesitantly went to the area which I had to exit through the door leading to the staff's smoking area with a sign stating 'out of order' and propped open with a door stop. When I found the seating area, the chairs and tables were in disarray and I was actually afraid to sit since nobody was around, except a bunny. The experience solidified my opinion of Best Western hotels. They are the WORST! There's no excuse for the lack of maintenance and housekeeping. What a shame since it's in a nice area. All I have to say is, NEVER AGAIN!!

There was no remote for the TV so I had to go the front desk but eventually called the number on the sign to get her attention. She was able to provide us with a remote. Since it was nice outside, I asked where the outdoor seating was they showed in the online photos and was told the gazebo is behind the dumpster. I hesitantly went to the area which I had to exit through the door leading to the staff's smoking area with a sign stating 'out of order' and propped open with a door stop. When I found the seating area, the chairs and tables were in disarray and I was actually afraid to sit since nobody was around, except a bunny. The experience solidified my opinion of Best Western hotels. They are the WORST! There's no excuse for the lack of maintenance and housekeeping. What a shame since it's in a nice area. All I have to say is, NEVER AGAIN!!

Arrived at 2:15pm and was told to leave and come back at 3pm for check-in because they were short staffed and rooms were not yet available, which I understand since check-in is 3pm, but most hotels will get you checked in early and text you when room is available, or invite you to chill in the lobby or pool area - this hotel actually asked me to leave. Once we did get a room, it was not in good condition. Outlets didn’t work, night stand lights didn’t work, and the TV didn’t work. The front desk attendant tried to fix the TV but said they didn’t have a maintenance person there on weekends. Beds were very uncomfortable and were Doubles, not Queens as advertised/booked. Stay clear of this hotel, there are better options.

The highway noise from 1-65 is unbearably loud. All rooms with 2 queen beds are highway-facing. They need to install better windows on that side to reduce the noise. I've stayed at many motels near highways, and I've never experienced that level of noise. Earplugs did not help. Breakfast supposedly goes until 9:00, but the eggs and sausage were empty at 8:40. Finally at 8:57 I told the woman at the front desk. She rudely said they would not bring out more. However, when I finally saw a staff member in the kitchen, she did bring out more for me. I needed to fill up my water bottle for a long drive. I knew there was a sink on the other side of the partially-closed door to the breakfast area. It was 11:00 and I also knew breakfast was closed. I didn't think filling up my water bottle would be a problem. The same rude front desk woman yelled at me to not go in there. I asked if there was a place where I could fill up my water bottle. Instead of having a normal customer service attitude and saying I could go ahead and use the sink in the breakfast area, she said I could fill it up in the bathroom. The bathroom was locked, so I filled my water bottle with ice from the ice machine, and then with hot water from the Thermos in the lobby. As I was facing a long drive in my sleep-deprived state, pumping the nearly-empty hot water Thermos 20 times to fill up my ice-filled water bottle, I reflected on the absurdity of the situation. PS Another guest told me the pool was ice cold.

Hi , We stayed in this hotel for 12 days and out of it 02 days , house keeping team did not cleaned the room . We booked for 13 Aug to 24 Aug @ 220 usd per night , prices were hiked due to university admission but service is not even equivalent to one star hotel . Breakfast was terrible . I would recommend to book these properties in advance , they are not worth of 80 to 90 usd per night .

Hotel property backs up to interstate highway. It was very noisy from the traffic all night. Interrupted my sleep. Also, my room had a very musty smell from the moment I walked in. I tried turning the air conditioner colder to see if it would remove the smell. It didn’t make a difference. I talked to the hotel staff about it several times and was offered a room spray (disinfectant). Talked to hotel manager in the morning about the smell and he didn’t offer any solutions like moving me to another room. I decided to check in to a different hotel for the remainder of my trip.

Very clean room, nailed all the basics. Location not awesome right next to interstate but for some folks that may be a plus. Over priced for me, but I stayed on a busy weekend at Purdue so some of that is just supply/demand.

Nice stay, clean well maintained. Did not enjoy the third floor experience facing the highway- road noise. Pool was small but well maintained. many guests but remained quiet. Also the smell of pot in our hall was not enjoyed, not hotels fault.

Overall this hotel was fine. The hallways had a weird smell but the room was decent and beds were comfortable. One of the nightside plugs didn't work and the coffee cups in the room didn't have holes in them to drink from which was weird. The shampoo and body wash all smelled like pure oranges so unless you want to smell like a fruit tree, I'd bring your own. The free breakfast was pretty terrible and I ended up going elsewhere. In my room I could hear people walking around above me which was very annoying. Overall, wouldn't recommend staying here especially for the price.

The property is maintained badly. The room has hair on the floor and our requests to have the room cleaned went unheard. The breakfast menu was okay, but with one person working and food being consumed, there were lines for various food items. On one of the days, they ran out of milk and people had to wait for 20+ minutes for it to be replenished. If possible, please do not stay at this property. I know I will not. There are plenty of other options for stay in Lafayette.

Friendly staff, if you like firm mattresses then the bed was comfortable, room was clean, breakfast was very good. Scrambled eggs, sausage links and patties, biscuits and gravy, assorted muffins and toast, make your own waffles, bananas and cereal. On Saturday morning all of the above plus omelets. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants. We will definitely stay again.

The room stank. I figured it was the AC that was causing this, but couldn't help since it was hot and I needed the AC running. And the AC was LOUD - constant buzzing noise. Plus, the property is right next the the highway and and you hear the highway noise constantly. I had trouble sleeping. Baseboard tiles had come off in the wall, the shower curtain was very hard to move, the shower was stuck at an angle and too filthy to touch. The provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash bottles are so tiny, it looked like a joke. The bed was good - clean and comfortable - that was the saving grace. I didn't eat breakfast or use any amenities.

Checked in and didn’t have power to half the room including the bathroom. Called down to front desk and they said they’d notify maintenance. Maintenance never came. The next day same thing. Finally restored power on the 3rd day. Elevator sounded like it was on its last leg and shut on several guests while entering or exiting. Room had damaged tile floors, holes in the blackout curtain, and the loudest ac I’ve ever heard. Won’t be coming back. Only stayed because my wife and I work night shift and we’re having renovations done to our house so had to sleep here during the day. Every other hotel was booked for Purdue move in day, so of course all the hotels up charged. Worst $1500 I’ve ever spent on accommodations.
