We had a great stay at the Little Bird Inn. The hosts were great and even provided a basket of breakfast items, beverages, and snacks which nicely supplemented the food we brought. The kitchen was well equipped. The location on the water was perfect and we enjoyed relaxing and having breakfast out on the patio and taking in the ocean front view.

Conveniently located near Annapolis Royal and Digby and not that far from Halifax International Airport. The artful interior design and furnishings are extraordinary--like something out of Architectural Digest Check in was all digital. Little human contact, something I have to get used to, but human owner was responsive.

It is equipped with all that you need to make a meal which is a good thing because Margaretsville is off the beaten track. That said, the setting is lovely if you're looking for a place to appreciate the beauty and splendor of the Bay of Fundy and Nova Scotia's coastline. We enjoyed staying there.

The accommodations are nicely decorated, every detail very well designed. Some things, although pretty are not functional. The dispensers in the washroom are difficult to use. The bed is very unique and lovely to look at but squeaked with the slightest movement which made for a restless night. I was in the bottom floor unit and could hear a lot of noise from the neighbours above me. There were tons of little flies around inside which I know come with the territory but can be annoying. My feedback is strictly for improvement purposes and are minor as I did enjoy my stay. Overall the place is lovely, very quiet, and in a great location. It’s very well equipped for cooking and long term stays. Price wise I thought it was rather expensive for a one night stay for one person but that’s just me.

It is the brightest place in Nova Scotia in the morning. It’s impossible to sleep late. Needs blackout curtains. It is decorated amazingly and is stocked with everything you need. The area is among the most beautiful in Nova Scotia. Sofa is tiny and you can’t use it for sleeping. You drive to nearby towns for food. Try Scoups in Middleton.

We enjoyed our stay on this property! Beautiful views and comfy bed. The hosts left us a welcome basket that was much appreciated!! We had a little problem checking in as the unit number of the property was not the same as the address but we figured it out quickly! The hosts made us feel right at home with many local attraction recommendations. It is a remote location so make sure you are prepared for a drive!!

The accommodations are nicely decorated, every detail very well designed. Some things, although pretty are not functional. The dispensers in the washroom are difficult to use. The bed is very unique and lovely to look at but squeaked with the slightest movement which made for a restless night. I was in the bottom floor unit and could hear a lot of noise from the neighbours above me. There were tons of little flies around inside which I know come with the territory but can be annoying. My feedback is strictly for improvement purposes and are minor as I did enjoy my stay. Overall the place is lovely, very quiet, and in a great location. It’s very well equipped for cooking and long term stays. Price wise I thought it was rather expensive for a one night stay for one person but that’s just me.

Check in was easy. The room was very cute with lots of unique decor, books, games, etc.. The bathroom and kitchen areas were well appointed. The area is quite quiet and we enjoyed a walk along the beach (rocky beach).

It is the brightest place in Nova Scotia in the morning. It’s impossible to sleep late. Needs blackout curtains. It is decorated amazingly and is stocked with everything you need. The area is among the most beautiful in Nova Scotia. Sofa is tiny and you can’t use it for sleeping. You drive to nearby towns for food. Try Scoups in Middleton.

We enjoyed our stay on this property! Beautiful views and comfy bed. The hosts left us a welcome basket that was much appreciated!! We had a little problem checking in as the unit number of the property was not the same as the address but we figured it out quickly! The hosts made us feel right at home with many local attraction recommendations. It is a remote location so make sure you are prepared for a drive!!

Beautiful spot and a charming place. Sitting on the deck overlooking the bay was a great start to our Nova Scotia vacation. The apartment is well appointed with lovely details. So many rentals are generic, this the opposite, incorporating sea, retro and function. It's a bit challenging to find the right door to get in, but once there, it was great. Take some time to stop in at the art center on the beach to see local art, too. Shop ahead in Greenwood or Kingston as there aren't any stores or restaurants near. Short 15 minute drive to many choices for restaurants and Sobeys market. And of course, Tim Hortons

Perfect seaside getaway for two! Loved our stay at the Little Bird Inn Design apartment. Had a full kitchen with vintage style appliances, spacious living area, and a beautiful view of the Bay of Fundy—the Margaretsville lighthouse and waterfall! The inn keepers left us a great little welcome basket with local treats, provided coffee and even cream, and left clear instructions for checking in. The inn was a bit of a drive from restaurants and groceries, but with that came a wonderfully peaceful and quiet stay! Wish we could have stayed another day or two, and would definitely stay again!

What a hidden gem! Right on the beach, right next to the lighthouse. Watch the tide come in and go out from the balcony. Such a charming place. Loved all the sea decor and extra care taken to make our stay memorable. We only stayed for one noght, but wished we had had stayed for 3! Highly recommend. Would love to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Bird Inn . The location is fabulous for scenery. We were pleased with the historicity of the home. The apartment we were in was small, but very charming. It was good for the two of us, but would not suit more than 2 people. The owner supplied appliances and other items. When we arrived, the apartment was very clean and the bedding and towels were clean and fresh. We enjoyed having our morning coffees on the deck that overlooked the Bay of Fundi. There are no stores in Margaritesville so you do need to drive around 15 minutes or so for any shopping.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. L’appartement est très joli, propre et avec une vue imprenable sur la plage. On a apprécié de magnifiques couchers de soleil. La cuisinette était parfaite pour dire de petits repas. Je recommande fortement l’endroit!
