The Duckworth Inn

No hot water in the shower. Found a long black hair in my bed. No desk to work on. The walls are paper thin and you can hear other people in the street AND people in other rooms who snore. Small tv with hockey so that’s good. Can’t hang your clothes because the wall might leak. Bad wifi. The hotel is in a restaurant that’s a bit awkward. No free parking. No answer when I showed up at first and no reception desk. Door was locked and it freaked me out but that’s ok it happens. Walls were partially destroyed. There’s a flashing white light in the room at night(in the room itself) Staff was nice but guys you have a long way to go ! Room was clean and bed was super comfortable Good luck

Awesome older hotel in downtown St. John’s. Staff was excellent. The restaurant was spectacular both evenings we ate there. Room was comfortable and quiet on the weekend. Parking was easy on the streets nearby.

The people who run this place are amazing! I’m so impressed with how we were dealt with due to unforeseen circumstances. True Newfoundland spirit! I will be supporting them again in the future. They truly care about you. Kudos!
