Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Each room had its private balcony with a gorgeous view!!! Of many years of travel, I would say they have the best hot tub - and my back appreciates it.

All the rooms have a view of the bay and daily sunsets. Indoor and outdoor pools were nice looking. The breakfast building was a diner like experience with indoor and outdoor covered porch seating and provided self service breakfast options: scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, coffee, and toaster options, etc. It was always clean, with a very attentive staff.

Wonderful staff, and great view from the little balcony. Our only gripe was that the hot tub jets didn’t work. But we will be back to stay there again.

This place never disappoints. I reserved a room last year and had a couch and thought I would have same this year as my son came with me. When I got into my room it didn't have a couch just one bed. So I went to the desk and they immediately set me up in another room that accommodated. They always try to please and go over and above to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. The breakfast is free and it is plentiful and has a variety of breakfast foods from cereal to eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and even waffles. Waffles. The coffee was delicious as well. There are two pools, one indoor one outdoor and an exercise room. They even have a laundry facility for guests. everything is clean and well maintained. The cherry on top is that it is reasonably priced! This has been my go-to for the past couple of years and will be for years to come.

Loved the breakfast every morning!!! The room was very clean! The view of the bay was pretty awesome! The staff was very friendly! We had an awesome time even though the weather wasn't the greatest! We would definitely go back!

Great place for a Chincoteague visit! Quiet, walkable to many restaurants, and a spectacular view. Room was very good and housekeeping attentive. The breakfast was above average and a great start to the day. Mgmt really seems to be on top of things to maintain this great place. Very happy with the stay and would highly recommend.

Pillows were old and flat, no protective covers under the pillow case. Not one of the better continental breakfasts at a hotel. Room had a balcony overlooking the water, which was nice. Nice deck on the water. Facilities were clean. Overall fine. Probably won't stay there again. Beds and pillows are important to me.

The room was clean. More drawer space was needed for clothes, more electric outlets were needed. The tub should have been anti-slip, and/or grab bars. The refrigerator was way too small. The breakfast certainly had lots of options to choose from.

Room was right on the water with a balcony. Easily walkable to food and shops. The staff told us about a rocket launch we didn’t know was happening, which was very cool. Great continental breakfast. Only negatives were no movie channels and absolutely abysmal Wi-Fi. We struggled with no signal and terrible Wi-Fi the whole stay. Other than that, we loved it.

Wi-Fi was poor. 1 or 2 bars at best prevented access to email, weather channel, Sirius radio. air conditioner was extremely loud when the compressor came on. a/c blew directly on one side of the bed. otherwise the room was very private and quiet. balcony had wonderful views. continental breakfast was very good.

Great view of the sunset over the bay and room was super clean and in a great location to access the main road to the beach. Breakfast was good but I did wish they didn’t use disposable dishes/silverware since it made it hard to cut the waffles and keep plates from flying around in the breeze.

Cozy area, nice staff, wonderful views, reasonably priced, walkable to anywhere downtown, a lot of care given to landscaping of the grounds, and to back deckwalk. And really friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

Cozy area, nice staff, wonderful views, reasonably priced, walkable to anywhere downtown, a lot of care given to landscaping of the grounds, and to back deckwalk. And really friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

The front desk staff and service in the breakfast area is very helpful in accommodating any request. While the pool could use some update, the maintenance staff do an excellent job with cleanliness and upkeep every morning.

Pillows were old and flat, no protective covers under the pillow case. Not one of the better continental breakfasts at a hotel. Room had a balcony overlooking the water, which was nice. Nice deck on the water. Facilities were clean. Overall fine. Probably won't stay there again. Beds and pillows are important to me.

Great view of the sunset over the bay and room was super clean and in a great location to access the main road to the beach. Breakfast was good but I did wish they didn’t use disposable dishes/silverware since it made it hard to cut the waffles and keep plates from flying around in the breeze.

All the rooms have a view of the bay and daily sunsets. Indoor and outdoor pools were nice looking. The breakfast building was a diner like experience with indoor and outdoor covered porch seating and provided self service breakfast options: scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, coffee, and toaster options, etc. It was always clean, with a very attentive staff.

This place never disappoints. I reserved a room last year and had a couch and thought I would have same this year as my son came with me. When I got into my room it didn't have a couch just one bed. So I went to the desk and they immediately set me up in another room that accommodated. They always try to please and go over and above to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. The breakfast is free and it is plentiful and has a variety of breakfast foods from cereal to eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and even waffles. Waffles. The coffee was delicious as well. There are two pools, one indoor one outdoor and an exercise room. They even have a laundry facility for guests. everything is clean and well maintained. The cherry on top is that it is reasonably priced! This has been my go-to for the past couple of years and will be for years to come.

We enjoyed a few days at Island Inn. Our room was spacious with a recliner sofa and table and chairs. We had a nice view from our balcony. The room could use some updates, but was clean.Breakfast was ok, the same each day which my husband enjoyed. We would stay again.

I want to thank Becky that managed dining for continental breakfast a thumbs up! She was truly dedicated to her job. The food was good and she kept the dining area very clean and was always pleasant.

The property is a little dated, lots of references to how it was the Island Motor Inn before and yep it feels like a 1980s motel. Slightly awkward layout (sofa is nowhere near the TV, closet takes up space in the middle of the room). But the beds were comfortable, the housekeeping staff great, and the price was good for being on-island in August.

We had a wonderful stay at the Island Resort. The room was awesome and the location was perfect. They offered an excellent continental breakfast, and the sunsets were as advertised. If we're able to make a return trip, we'll definitely stay there again.

This is a really nice hotel. Best part of our stay was the view of the amazing sunset from the balcony. All balconies face the west, so we all can get the view. Worst part was the prominent picture of DJT in the lobby. With the country so divided, why put that there?
