When we checked in there was no staff at the desk for nearly 10 minutes, only one elevator was functioning and was run down looking, the room itself was outdated, especially apparent in the bathroom, with low water pressure, degraded fixtures and a very dusty register, and we somehow managed to get a bee in our 6th floor room. The jacuzzi downstairs had to be turned on by maintenance, which took over half an hour, then another half hour to even get warm, and it was questionable whether it was cleaned/maintained considering the lack of attention in general. There were minimal pool towels available and they were they were barely big enough for my children. Also the exterior door was not key secured, so the safety aspect was questionable. The breakfast buffet was expensive for what it was, and the one night we went down and wanted to grab a drink at the bar it was closed down because someone had called out. The water and coffee station were mostly empty (either of liquids or of cups), and staff was often away from the desk. They were not unpleasant, but that was really the only positive of the stay. However I would never recommend anyone stay here, as we certainly never would again.

We were not happy because the site said Continental breakfast which we thought meant included as other hotels we stay at but was not the case here; it also said transportation to theme park included and that was not available and the pool was cloudy and an electric light was hanging loose in the pool on a 3-4 foot electric cord. Needless to say we did not let our two grandkids go into pool the days we were there. One last item was there was no mention we were required to pay parking which was not mentioned prior to booking. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel and staff were good. Kind of off putting they make you pay to park there even though you’re staying there. Never understood that. Also, seven vehicles were broken into the first night we were there. Luckily ours wasn’t one of them but I did find it awful convenient the auto glass repair guy was already in the parking lot before everyone was even notified of the break ins. Makes you wonder. Overall the stay was pleasant and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Front desk guy was awesome.

To pay for parking lot monitoring…AND my car was broken into and they stole my tail lights. It caused about $6000 worth of damage/replacement. Hotel workers said I should call the number for the parking company to let them know - shouldn’t that have been their responsibility? I was having to find a car dealership to work on my car to get them fixed before Saturday. TV was stuck on one channel. When I reported it, they sent a handyman who couldn’t fix it. But then proceeded to tell me the whole hotel was having the same issue. So all the rooms had ONE channel. I’d rather someone be honest and say they couldn’t fix it than lie to me. Very unhappy about this stay.

I booked this hotel because of thr pool, and it was closed the entire stay. They gave us breakfast coupons to help compensate that turned out to be apetizer coupons for the previous night. The refrigerator and ice machine was broken. They turned off all the water without any notification one morning for over an hour. We asked for three keys to a room, but at no point could they get all three keys to work at the same time. Elevators take forever.

It was dirty, unkept, had roaches, crumbs, stains, and had a terrible body odor smell. The refrigerator also was not working but the front desk changed our room and fortunately the refrigerator worked but the room was also not very clean and had the same foul smell, roaches, mold, slow draining tub, and now I have a strange rash from dirty linen. I would not stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay greatly. I loved how friendly all the staff was to me and my partner. Everyone we came across with greeted us and were very friendly. My room was very clean and spacious. I am very particular about cleanliness and this hotel definitely met and exceeded my expectations for cleanliness. The only thing I did not like is that we had to pay a $10 parking fee which I was not aware of when I booked. In addition, the breakfast buffet was not worth the additional cost. I felt the variety and quality of the food could have been better given that it is an additional cost.

Checked in and proceeded to room and only one elevator was working and there was a slight sewage smell. Proceeded into room and the bathroom shower had mold in the corners near the floor. Went downstairs and informed staff and they gave us another room with complimentary breakfast buffet passes. Changed rooms and tv wasn't working. It was late informed staff and they assured me it would be fixed the next day. Next day only 1 hotel elevator working . Checked out next day

The room was very dusty , used my own saniwipes to clean coz they don’t they don’t have one, the bath tub was clogged , that dirty water stays on our feet coz they don’t flush !!But the hotel lobby is okay !!surrounding areas amazing with good shopping stores!!

One of two elevators were broken, so there were waits of up to 10 minutes to use them, especially in the morning when staff needed them to get cleaning carts to upper floors. Our room did not have hot water at all. The carpet in our room was torn in a large patch. The nice wooden bed frame had a lip around the mattress that had not been cleaned and had dirt, crumbs and all sorts of hair in it. This is not a place we will stay again.

Worst experience ever we stayed in room 424 and woke up with bed bugs all in the bed, we took pics and videos!!! Worst part we had all three of our kids and had to wake them up at 3 in the morning, they moved us to another room and that room was dirty the restroom wasn’t even clean!! We ended up just coming home!! Never will I everrrrr stay here again!!!

Hotel has not had much upgrades made for price. The shower was dingy with lukewarm water and poor pressure (there was also what looked like blood on the curtain). The AC did not cool below 72 through the stay but was considered "normal." Parking is $10/night for video surveillance, so keep that in mind as well. The front desk staff was friendly and service was prompt when asked for things such as towels and sheets. Most of the disappointment of this hotel is the price for the pay out - I would have rather stayed at the La Quinta for $80/night.

Not overly impressed. The attitude of the front desk was not great. Was dismayed to find out they charge for parking. The hotel itself is pretty dated and could use some updating. The bed was not very comfortable. Overall meh. Will check out some other options in this area next time we come.

It was okay, the bed was good, but the shower was horrible, it would turn off in t h e middle of showering and it would take a few minutes before it came back on. Very frustrating. Of course not to mention that water goes everywhere during your shower. The room was quite and clean.

The location of this hotel is excellent—but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. Parking costs an additional $10, which isn’t outrageous, but it’s an inconvenience, especially when it's not disclosed during the reservation, and since the fee can’t be charged to your room. Instead, you have to scan a QR code and register your vehicle with a third-party service. The room itself was fine, though the bed made a loud "alfo" sound with every movement, which made sleeping uncomfortable. The $15 breakfast was disappointing. The options were limited to scrambled eggs, sausage links, and overly fried potato cubes. Aside from that, there was toast and a few bagels. The juice selection was poor—what was labeled as orange juice was clearly some kind of powdered mix, and the apple juice tasted watered down. Had the kids not already committed to eating cereal, we would have skipped breakfast altogether.

Property is showing its age. Ripped carpets, scratched walls and poor craftsmanship. There was literally an electrical nut wrapped in tape shoved into the shower head. Keys kept getting deprogrammed and had to go to the front desk to get back into the room. You have to pay for parking in the parking g lot built specifically for the property and breakfast is not included and overpriced. If you just need a place to sleep it’s fine. If you’re looking for a nice hotel. This isn’t it.

1st received a call from the hotel, stating that a Hotels.com had not sent them their digital card to complete our stay. The rooms are a little dated. When you flush the toilet. It sounds like a train is coming through that room and they didn’t have extra toilet paper to replace when the current one was out and there was very little shampoo in the container.

Air condition was not working properly in our room. Techs went to check it out in Saturday morning and they said it was fixed but when we came back it felt humid. Due to us getting back to hotel late Saturday we just decided to stay in the room.

Overall it was good. However, the condition of the room was a little outdated. The restroom shower had broken tile, the tv didn’t work, we couldn’t stay near our friends due to over hearing that they were over booked. Aside from that, the area was safe and the bed was comfortable.

What I did not like was the Expedia ad said breakfast was included. Got there and found out it was $12.95 because I did not go through the Hilton app.. The next problem was they charged $10.00 per day for security for my parked car. Would not be staying at this type of Hilton in the future.

Come all the way down there for the Alamo Bowl from Grand Prairie Texas get there at 10:00 at night oh no rooms available wait a minute you do have my confirmation yet we do but you still can't get it room.. if that's the last hotel I have to choose from I'll never stay there again

We had an excellent experience staying at the Hilton Garden Inn at the Rim in San Antonio,Texas. Andrea at the front desk was very accommodating and gave us a first floor room close to the side door so that we can take our dog out when needed. It was an easy in and out operation. Also Sofia from housekeeping did a great job at keeping the supply of fresh towels and toiletries every time we asked for them. All of the staff at this hotel has a good attitude. This was a great location for visiting six flags. The rooms could use a bit of a cosmetic update. The walls were a bit banged up, but everything was clean. Paying for parking was lame, but at $10, not a huge deal. The person who checked us in was great! We loved being able to see the 4th of July fireworks at six flags from the parking lot!

Stayed here after a day at Six Flags. The property was nice. The room was big and clean no issues whatsoever except maybe that you do have to pay for parking/security to a third-party. You have to scan a QR code in their parking lot. That might be a bit of a turn off for some people specially, if you’re staying multiple days there, I’m sure they could really add up.

Property was well maintained and the room very nice. It's located in a kind-of hotel mecca with multiple other places across the street. In most circumstances, you could probably walk to the shopping center, but the entire time I was there it was 100 degrees with humidity, so Uber got a lot of use. For whatever reason, my room didn't get made service on the first day (maybe they just missed it), but I did on day 2. There's two restaurants in walking distance -- the 54th Street Grill is a nice bar/casual dining establishment, Bob's Steaks and Chops is very high end. I think the Porterhouse Steak was $139. It's hard to walk anywhere else because of the extensive highway system, but there's a lot of options in the shopping centers. Unlike other Hiltons where I've stayed, breakfast is NOT complimentary. In fact, the buffet is $14.95 for an adult.

The room was small but nice, the pool, staff, and environment was great. There was a bad smell on our floor but they took our complaint seriously and had it fixed quickly. The staff texted to check on us and see how our stay was which was great. The breakfast is not worth the money. We asked for menus at the breakfast area a few times but they kept pushing us towards the buffet which was not worth the 15 per person. The pancakes were too hard to cut, the eggs and potatos were too salty, and it was basically a free breakfast at other hotels.

Overall I thought the hotel was good enough for a nice weekend trip but I think they could do better to be more family-friendly moving forward. The nightly price for this hotel was not bad at all, but having to pay $10 a day for parking and $15 for breakfast was not worth us staying longer and I would suggest you keep your options open if you’re looking for free breakfast options and free self-parking
