Stayed 2 nights

Parking: - Tends to fill up quickly at night but I was always able to find a space to park. Lobby: - Clean, and tidy. Every time I went downstairs there as always someone at the front desk. Guest Gym: - It was adequate - 3-4 (can't remember) running machines - 2 bicycle machines (one peloton) - 1 adjustable bench (could use another one) - 1 rowing machine - Free weights (bulky plastic ones, not cast iron) and assorted Kettle bells - 1 (cable cross trainer?) not sure the name. Room: - AC is weak.. not sure how accurate the settings were but slow to start and there's no option (that I felt) to have the fan running on quiet. - Bathroom vent was practically non-existent. No button to press to start... taking a shower was a struggle. (like a sauna) - Hair dryer super cheap and low power. Breakfast - FREE - Breakfast was decent. Eggs were great, Their pancakes and waffles on the stiffer side. The same area is accessible if you want tea or coffee late at night. Overall: It was decent.. better than some places I stayed at.

I wish I needed to spend the night in San Carlos regularly so I could stay at this hotel more often! We’ve stayed at this location twice now & both experiences were perfectly lovely. The rooms are spacious & clean, the prices are super reasonable, the staff is friendly & helpful & the complimentary breakfast is bountiful & delish. I love that the rooms have everything you need i.e. coffee maker, hair dryer, big TV, fridge, AC, large L-shaped couch, etc. The bathroom is large & the shower is awesome with large refillable pump bottles of shampoo, conditioner & bath gel. They even let me borrow a phone charger overnight when I left mine at home which was a lifesaver. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Breakfast ends at 10. How do you run out of oatmeal by 9? When I asked them MULTIPLE TIMES, I was assured it would come out, but instead it never came out. They were also out of water (?), plates, juice, potatoes, and many forms of bread. Their staff did not act on any of our requests even after agreeing. It’s not about the oatmeal, it’s about the attitude. If you can’t do it, don’t tell me you can! Do better.

Stayed 1 night

I had originally planned to stay only one night but ended up extending my stay for a second night. Unfortunately, both room assignments were disappointing. On the first night, my window faced a cement wall, offering no view at all. On the second night, the window was frosted and permanently locked shut. Not being able to see outside during either stay was unsettling and significantly diminished the overall experience. Given the rate I paid, I expected a room that felt more open and comfortable, and it left me questioning whether the accommodations reflected the price charged.
