We stayed one night on way home from ski resort. Clean, nicely appointed, beautiful veranda overlooking scenic area, many nearby restaurants and stores for essentials. Options for breakfast are many on bar in lobby and kids enjoyed making waffles. Eggs cold. For some unknown reason, our tv would not go to any channels the next morning upon awakening, which was only downside of hotel.

Arrived a half an hour before check-in and staff were happy to get us checked. Facility is clean inside and out and room was nicely appointed. Only drawback was the entrance was clumsy and there is construction in front of the hotel. The pool was closed for renovation but they arranged for guests to use a nearby hotel’s pool.

Staff at check in were amazing she was very friendly and made you feel welcome! The room does show some slight wear (on the walls scrape marks etc and some of the furniture). Overall it was a great stay for us - quiet and clean. They have a nice outdoor patio section and a small pool that we were able to enjoy.

Beware! I made reservation here based on great Expedia reviews even though more expensive. When we went to the pool there was not just a little but a lot of green slime (mold? algae?) in the 4 foot by 1 foot puddles surrounding the pool and on the bottom of the pool. When I reported it they cleaned it up. I wanted to request a refund & leave at that point but we had my son and were exhausted so I waited to talk to the same manager when we checked out. I showed her the picture of the pool & her eyes got huge. I asked to cancel next weekend’s stay there & I wanted some sort of adjustment of our bill. Brusquely she said since we had booked with Expedia she couldn’t do anything. Period. She could have said we should contact Expedia and she would work with them for a satisfactory resolution and I wouldn’t have left feeling so annoyed. So I contacted Expedia and got next weekend’s reservation canceled and a slight adjustment to our bill plus some Expedia points so Expedia was very helpful. Nice shower in room tho’ cabinets scuffed. Nic breakfast and very friendly person running the breakfast. But if you think paying more will bring you a better experience here you may want to think again.

Adequate room, nice lobby area. Lack of maid service to the room on a daily basis for a minimum of towel changing, and bed making. I found hairs in the shower and on the desk. Two elevators one out of order all of the time and the other one sporadically out of order. The room was quiet with a view to a gravel pit and truck maintenance area. The man setting up the breakfast was the most cordial of all employees. He was very responsive to guests' requests. I had family staying at the next-door hotel and commented that this hotel was superior to theirs.

Overall excellent place, breakfast had many choices & was good, room was great & Clean! only disappointment pool temperature was cold & my Wife couldn't tolerate the coldness some of the other guest stated the same..

Check-in was great and the front desk person helpful and friendly. I woke up to the smell of what seemed like cat urine at 0500. I turned off my heat and fan since it was not that way when I went to bed. I got up again a little later and when I pulled the comforter back - the one I had been partially under to sleep, there was a dried 4-5 inch "something" on it. I left a note to please change ALL bedding as this was disgusting. I was going to let the front desk person know but there was a long line, and I had to get to work. I usually have good experiences with this type of hotel.

Don’t believe the 9.4 rating. Our room was not very clean, the shower had pink mold, the shower seat was coming off the wall, the floor was very slippery. The sofa in the room had stains. A dog was barking in the room next door. We will not be back!

Hotel was dingy and not that clean. The bathroom had places of mold and the whole rooms needs to be updated. The service was fine and downstairs seemed fine. We did not eat breakfast provided. We had 2 rooms, a king and 2 queens. Thayer both smelled like a locker room. The beds were visibly lumpy.

Based on reviews, was expecting a lot. Especially for the price, which after the fact was much too high.. Pretty good room and no real highway noise. But I thought it was fairly new but bed felt like it was bought at a Motel 6 foreclosure sale. Too creaky. HVAC also kept us up at night. Room above us sounded like the ceiling was made of cheap paper. Breakfast a standard fare ; rate it a B-.

Room is very clean and spacious! Breakfast is good as well. I would give it a 5 Star if we stop here. However the room design has a big. Issue. two rooms designed to be connected with a door, which has no sound proof. We can hear nextdoor guests' entire conversation. And some sort of alarm went off at 4:00 am and last over one hour.

Check in was very strange and not welcoming- the woman at the desk did not say anything to me other than to ask my name- no welcome not even a hello. She didn’t ask to see my ID or my credit card. Just handed me the room keys. Didn’t tell me where the room was, nothing about breakfast, wifi or literally anything. It was the strangest and honestly, rudest experience I’ve had at a hotel. Other than that, the room was clean and breakfast was fine. The woman working in the breakfast room was very nice and welcoming.

We had reservations to stay Saturday, September 23rd. Our plans changed due to the tropical storm. We needed to switch the date to Friday, September 22. I called and spoke with Angela. She was very accommodating & very friendly. She is a great example of superior customer service. We appreciate her extra effort. I am more than impressed. Please let her know the difference she made in a stressful situation. We are grateful and of course the stay was perfect! Thanks again. PS: Please give Angela a raise!!!

We have stayed here several times. It is very convenient to the freeway. The view is not terrific and there is construction very close, but that did not effect our stay. The property itself is well maintained. The room was nice and the breakfast bar is good.

I was greeted by a very friendly associate at the front desk who helped me get acclimated to the property and what it offered for me. When I left, the associate asked me how my stay was... a nice added touch. The room was clean. No complaints at all! THANK YOU for a wonderful stay. (Just a heads up, the only struggle I had was the road to the property wasn't well-lit. The left turn is up a pretty steep hill, and having it more lit would have been awesome.)

I felt that the rooms were just okay. The beds were a little hard, but better than soft. Anthony at the front desk was amazing and a true asset to your company. The "free" breakfast was horrible to say the least; we ate out. Shower heads need to be updated to a wand; there was almost no cold water in the shower and sink; pillows could use updating,as well;hopefully one day there will be thermostats in the room with air conditioning, instead of the units that do nothing but pour out damp, cold air.
