Rooms are very comfortable. Lobby area decor fairly nice, just wish there was more comfortable seating. Make sure you scan the QR code in the parking lot. You need to pay a separate company. Upon check-in I was not told this and only realized the following day when I saw the QR signs in the parking lot.

Great back patio that allowed for quiet, relaxing time in the sunshine. Kids also enjoyed the pool table and games in the lobby. Pool was also nice and warm. The water dispenser in the fitness center was not working. The lighting in the rooms was also a challenge since the bathroom light was connected to the sink lighting and was very bright when on and folks were trying to sleep.

I liked the facility for the amenities, though the pool looks much bigger in pictures than in person. We used the pool table and the giant Jenga, and my cocktail from the bar was delicious. I love the idea of a sliding barn door for the bathroom in the room but it was so heavy to get closed and open, my kids were not fans. It would have been nice to have a clock in the room and an outlet on the wall side of the bed but those aren't deal breakers.

Aloft Hillsboro is very clean with amazing friendly staff. There is plenty of free parking, a fun lounge, nice outdoor patio, decent pool and fitness center. The location js great as youre not too far from the city but there are convenient shops and retauraunts in the area. We have been returning at least twice a year for the past 6 or so years

We love this hotel. We stay here everytime we come to PDX. Rooms are clean, staff super helpful & friendly and the lobby is fun with a pool table, cornhole & board games.

Really nice hotel, very modern. Bar downstairs, nice patio. Friendly staff. Pool was really nice and warm. Beds were very comfortable. Great location. Just 10 minutes walk to the outside shopping mall and restaurants. 15 minutes drive to the Zoo. Beautiful park across the street. Plenty of parking. Will definitely recommend.

this is my 4th stay at this hotel. slways clean, fresh, good customer service. remodel since my last stay. check in area needs improvement. looks temporary. bar stools are AWFUL! now have to pay for parking which is not pricey but not an improvement. in good restaurant shopping area. good freeway access.

I’ve stayed at this property a couple times and found the experience good, not great. At comparable prices, neighboring hotels may be a better choice. Housekeeping missed my room one day and didn’t restock basic items on another. Also the room I was in seemed tired and in need of a few repairs. Nonetheless, a solid 3 stars in my opinion.

I had one negative and that was that the main elevator or elevator #1 smelled like vomit. It was gross. But otherwise, everything about this hotel was great! The service, the amenities, the staff. I had a pretty big surgery and was comfortable the whole time. They even had a wheelchair I could use to get to and from my car and room. Altogether great experience.

Rooms were large and nice. Our shower was not cleaned, there was clumps of hair on the wall from whoever showered there last and decided to leave their hair on the wall. Also, at night there was a loud clank noise all throughout the night that kept us awake. It happened every few mins. It sounded like a pipe issue, and it was extremely annoying. I had my 1 year old son with us and it made for a very difficult nights sleep. I recorded the noise, and it sounded loudest in the bathroom above the shower. In addition, the front entrance is bizarre in that there really isn't one, nor is there directions on where to go. It seemed that the customer service desk attendants were annoyed at the fact that we had to be buzzed in by the pool because we didn't have a room key card yet. There was no easy flow to check-in and it was very scattered and frankly very frustrating especially when you have a child.

The hotel is very clean and modern but it missed the mark on a couple items. The mini fridge did not have a freezer so we were not able to freeze our ice packs. And there was no microwave which was just an inconvenience. The breakfast was very expensive for packaged food. The pool was nice and clean, we enjoyed that very much. Over all it's a good hotel, but I've been to cheaper hotels with better amenities and more comfortable beds.

Upon check in, the front desk staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I was alone with my two kids and she could probably feel the stress from me! She let me know there was no clean one king bedrooms but she kindly let me know she would upgrade us to a two king bedroom at no cost. The room was extremely roomy and clean. Our phone in the room did not work but that's not a big deal. The noise level though is rough and you can hear everyone above you walking. However, we always travel with a noise machine! There was also this flashing light that was going off all night on the ceiling, I am thinking maybe the fire alarm light. Not sure. It was kind of distracting. The pool was amazing and we spent 2 hours there! Overall, I'd recommend to stay here!

Overall our stay was good. The most important things like cleanliness, comfortable bed, convenient location were excellent. The hotel has a modern, “fun” vibe. Now for the not so great… First, the room and bathroom lighting is HORRIFIC. Glaring, harsh LED lighting. You can’t turn on a light in the bathroom without lighting up the whole room. Second, we were put in an ADA room (maybe because the hotel was full and that was all that was left?). It was ok except when you take a shower water leaks all over the bathroom floor. There was also no bathroom counter space.

Shower in the room looked to be under transition. Exposed metal plates covering wall holes. Shower head was placed in a dysfunctional position. Handle to turn water on was stripped which made tempature control difficult. Hair dryer was broken.

sound proof is bad, could help next door neighbor’s kids talking to their mom at 5:30am; property is next to a street where construction trucks often drive by in the morning; bed was extremely short, back and neck hurt after laying in bed for 30 min.

The hotel overall is good but not great. As the two beds room is very good size but I found it to be very dark in the room with not enough lights to brighten the room. Also the bathroom was dark as well with only one light only. Also the toilet paper was as thin air such a joke on that hopefully they listen to the customers and use better quality ones. Also had issue with the TV and the maintenance person could not figure out how to fix it which was kind of ridiculous and ended up fixing it myself to get it working again. Also should not charge for parking as well! But overall would still recommend the hotel but barely.

This was my first time at this property. The site has a fun and modern design. I enjoy the rooms as while they are slightly small, they are very comfortable. The bed is great and the large mounted TV was fantastic for watching movies. I will definitely stay here again. Also there is a ton of shopping and dining options nearby.

When we got there to check in the person at the front desk told us there was a mix up with our reservation we ordered and reserver a suite but the told us it was now unavailable due one of them booking our room out and were unwilling to make up for it since we paid more a suite then the room that they ended putting us in when I asked for compensation the front desk ladies were unwilling to help us out

I booked a room with 2 beds for a family of four through Expedia. We arrived and were told the type of room we reserved did not exist and they in fact had no rooms available. We paid over $250 for a room, but were turned away. Neither Expedia or Aloft want to give us a refund. We did not cancel, we did not fail to show up, we did not show up on the wrong day. They sold us the product that didn’t exist. I would consider that fraud.

I like the Aloft hotels- great staff and service. Some of the guests got a little loud, but that is life. Only recommendation I could make is ask people not to smile pot at the parking entrance. Little annoying to walk through the smell and wonder how much is clinging to you.

The female working the night shift when i checked in, was not very friendly whatsoever. In fact, she had seen me struggling because of my disability and didn’t ask at all if i probably needed help. I even had my legs give out due to my disease and all she said was “do you want me to call 911?”. she knew i was struggling, as i had been using a walker and couldn’t carry my 2 bags. she didn’t seem happy about having to carry them to my room that was at the completed end of the hallway. it was the very last maybe second to last room in the long hallway. after she had given me the interpretation that helping carry 1 of my bags because i have balancing issues due to blood clots in my lungs & legs was an inconvenience, i started being a little sassier because i was already having a bad time and then my room that i paid extra for, got given away so i had to take the room i didn’t want yet still pay the same more expensive amount. really made me feel like an inconvenience, when i had driven 2 hrs and booked this solely to relax and to get away from where i live. i won’t be returning here because of this 1 employee…

There is a park across the street from the hotel. After driving 9 hrs it was wonderful to get out and walk off the kinks. They hotel is minimalistic and clean. We got a breakfast voucher for$10/per person. The breakfast was so so. Hot food weren’t hot and super salty.

Aloft what? Had not heard of this hotel; now it's a favorite. Parking lot with plenty of space (free) leading right to downstairs pool and elevators making schlepp of any luggage easy. There's a bar; live music. Wasn't a fan of the breakfast. A bunch of items to grab and go or get some hot eggs or sandwiches' but everything has a cost. Coffee is so-so. Less than good. Rooms have modern shower which works great; blue-tooth radio, comfy bed, plenty of easy access chgarging stations. All very modern and well thought out for access. In room coffee also bleh but there. Big ole gym which we didn't use. No giacuzzi. Great location; quiet, nice neighborhood, near everything you'd need.

I loved my stay at the Aloft Hillsboro-Beaverton. Staff was very friendly, property was very clean but best of all was that the bar had honey whiskey -- my drink of choice that not very many bars carry. I will be back because my son lives in Beaverton, so please keep having honey whiskey available at the bar!
