Overnattet 1 natt

We were unable to check in as it was closed at 6pm I phoned both a mobile 3 times leaving 2 voicemails and again the landline leaving another voicemail. Due to the lack of response we had to find another hotel. 2hrs later I eventually got a return call as a response of a missed call, to be advised they are closed on Sunday nights. Online they were still showing availability.

King room in the modern accommodation block was small but fine, a good find. Dinner was great pub grub. We hadn’t realised that breakfast is not available (Sun-Fri) but that was also fine.

The room was very nice, the shower was excellent. The food in the restaurant was very good, and the staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay if you’re off to the races, 15mins by car or Taxi. The pub does not provide a breakfast but their evening meals are good, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are at the back of the pub and have ensuite bathrooms, tea, coffee and water bottles in the mini fridge. The linen and towels were all fresh and the bed very comfortable.
