Perfect location…the only drawback was no on-site parking…the suite was amazing!!

Fantastic location, although entrance is through the visitor center. Will highly recommend.

Parking does not exist! It was stressful figuring out where to park (and the parking garage was beyond filthy & a bit scary). BUT location of this hotel is prime!! Walking distance to EVERYTHING we wanted to see. Bus tour right out of the hotel was very convenient!! Check in girl to hotel was VERY sweet & friendly!

There was no parking for your vehicle on the property

The location of this property could not have been any better for us, you could literally walk anywhere from the Dufferin Terrace across the street, to the Quartier Petit Champlain, several restaurants and shops, all within walking distance. The parking was only a 3-4 minute walk as well which was very safe and clean. The room was also very clean, and quiet. We definitely would recommend this hotel.

Located in the heart of old Quebec city. Walking distance to everything. Off-site parking was not too far from hotel. Staff at check-in and check-out were very helpful. Would definitely return in the future.

Positives: The location was excellent and having the tourism bureau downstairs was a big plus. There were plenty of towels. Negatives: The lack of parking was a big detriment to the stay. I thought one of the receptionists, a thin woman with wire-rim glasses was rather rude and impatient when I was asking for information. Turning the television on was an exercise i frustration. Operating the shower was as well. It would have been nice to have been notified in advance that there was a marathon happening on one of the days during our stay.

Parking was off site which was a bit of a pain

Location is perfect Our room needed attention to window wells, cracks. Front door definitly needs refurbishing. Front entrance does not have handicap facilities.

First off, I speak French and my girlfriend is French so language was not a barrier. Nevertheless, we found the service to be abysmal. Our room was not cleaned despite notifying the property with ample time. The front staff had no reasonable explanation as to why this was not done. The heating in the room barely worked. We needed to use the provided space heater. The shower had mouldy caulking. The decor is dark with black wallpaper throughout. The walls are paper thin and you will hear every flush and cough. Finally, the TV in the room has the cable box mounted sideways. Good luck changing channels! Overall hard to recommend for the price. Look elsewhere.

The location was awesome. Very clean rooms and the staff were very friendly. Loved our stay!

The property was very convenient to everything. The parking was a nightmare due to construction. There was mold in the shower, the carpet appeared stained as did the coffee table. We had to ask 3x for towels and the bathroom was difficult as there was really no space to store anything. There was also nowhere to store clothing in the room. I would not recommend except for the location

The hotel is in a good location, making it convenient to walk to popular tourist attractions. However, it can be a bit busy because there is a tourist information desk on the first floor. Also, the entrance closes at 5 PM, so you need to use the intercom next to the door to ask them to open it. One disappointing aspect is the cleanliness, especially in the bathroom. Except for the shower booth, the bathroom walls are finished with wallpaper. When washing hands or brushing teeth at the sink, water splashes onto the wallpaper, leaving stains. As shown in the attached photos, there were marks from a previous guest’s toothpaste. Additionally, the towels are very old and worn-out. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Great location and friendly staff. Rooms were okay, but mold on bottom of shower walls and door. This boutique hotel has a weird setup though, the main entrance to the hotel building is actually a public tourist center offering tours, bus trips and money exchange...the actually hotel is on the 2nd and 3rd floors, with a small lobby.

Clean room. Great service. Super convenient!

The only complaint is that our room was not cleaned. We left the tag to make our room at the door but the cleaning lady ignored it. We had to ask for towels and toiletries when we got back. The room was a mess!!! Other than that, the location is superb!!

This property location was incredible! Literally in front of the Chateau, stone’s throw to the funicular and tobaggan, restaur/shops. The hotel and room were clean and felt modern. We had the beautiful corner room 106. Huge sunny room with Large windows, high ceilings, comfy bed, pull out couch, fridge, coffee and hot water maker… However, we went on in February and there was almost no heat in the room for our two nights. We slept in our ski gear. We tried to get blankets several times early in the evening but the staff would not come to the desk. The staff was all lovely whenever we did see them but at night the one front desk person was no where to be found (busy with other clients, I am sure). The second night we got extra blankets and some insufficient space heaters that did not work well at all. My kid came down with a terrible cold for lack of sleep “Mom, I was soooo cold”. On top of being cold, we were kept up by the people in the room above us who I swear were having a dance party or exercising the whole time we were there. The chandeliers rattled all night. So def get a top floor room and don’t go in the dead of winter. Also, bring your own pillow! They were huge hard hard hard pillows. I actually would give our stay a 10/10 if the heat worked and I was on the top floor with a softer pillow and some blankets. The location was PERFECT, Staff kind and attentive (when available), parking was a short walk and conviently near restaurants and shopping.

Fantastic location right across the street from the Fairmont Hotel Frontenac. Our room was beautiful and spacious and perfect for family of 4. They have paid parking in a garage nearby, 5 min walk. The only odd thing about our room is the bathroom door is frosted glass, so you can kind of see inside which we thought was an odd choice. Other than that it’s very conveniently located to all sites and beautifully decorated. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

We were very happy with the hotel however there needs to be more shelf space available in the washroom. Other than that it was excellent and we would stay here again.

The property is absolutely beautiful and it is very close to everything in Old Quebec City. The drawbacks were that it is was very noisy from the room above (could hear every step which rattled the chandelier) and the a/c shuts off after 3 hours so after a few hours of sleeping, you wake up with the room being uncomfortably warm. As well, if you come back to the room before 5 you get hassled by the people working at the info booth that don’t want to let you get by without an interrogation as to why you have entered the building. :)

Beautiful room, great view. Convenient location. Walkable to all of old quebec city. Only down side was you can hear people walking on floor above you and the chandelier would rattle with foot steps.

Lovely modern furnishings. Bed and linen were very comfortable. Strongest flush I’ve seen anywhere in the world! Nice shower and bathroom facilities Great central location for old Quebec. Nice and peaceful with proper glazing. I really enjoyed my stay.

We stayed in a king room and it was HUGE! It was the largest hotel room we ever stayed in. It had very high ceilings (about 20'), a table, nice TV, very comfortable king bed and a beautifully renovated bathroom. It is right in the heart of old Quebec City, across the street from the Chateau Frontenac. There are many tours that leave from right in front of the hotel. There are many hop on hop off busses that stop right in front as well. It was a wonderful hotel and we would stay again.

Very nice upscale decor , room is clean and hotel locks at 5pm. Excellent location in Old Quebec. The room never warmed up (in early September) and the tv remotes have a high learning curve. I would stay here again for a short term stay.

Great location, comfortable room. Staff at front desk is not available 24/7, but checked us in and was very helpful and pleasant.

The hotel was very central and the room was great, clean, spacious. The lady Sarah Jane who checked us in was awesome! Very friendly and helpful. The man who was also working earlier that day before we were able to check in and who kept our luggages aside was also very nice and helpful. There was another lady who worked the late shift the following nite tho, was abrupt & not as pleasant as the others. Overall though excellent hotel !!

we stayed 4 nights last weekend, having to change rooms, and must say this is the best hotel among 20 similar size hotels we have been through. Customer service is above expectation, they even let us check in as soon as they had the rooms available. Second floor is another world apart from main floor information centre. Love to come back

Location was excellent. Did not like the after hours check in procedure. My flight was delayed 2 hours…standing on the street corner in the dark at 1 am for someone to come from the hotel next door to check me in was not the most pleasurable experience.

Having just stayed three nights, we would highly recommend the Hotel Manoir Morgan. It's centrally located, only steps away from Chateau Frontenac, Terrasse Dufferin, and the funicular to Lower Town. There are also many nearby Upper Town restaurants and shops. Both Upper and Lower Town areas are pcituresque and very lively. And we especially appreciated the friendly young hotel staff, who treated us very kindly.

GREAT location for exploring Quebec. Everything we wanted to visit was within easy walking distance - coffee, restaurant, shopping, art, etc. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Would absolutely stay here again!

Location is great but reaching to the hotel with luggage through the stairs and closed doors is hard. Concierge didn’t call for taxi and when we went out there was no taxi and the door to the hotel was locked.we waited until some staff arrived and we asked them to call for the taxi. We almost were close to loose our flight.

The front desk staff was great! She was very kind and helpful. I got upgraded and the room was clean and definitely worth the price. Also cannot beat the location!!

This location is OUTSTANDING! If you want to explore Old Quebec, you could not ask for better. Incredible views from our window, walk or take elevator downstairs and you are in the midst of the gorgeous old town right across from Chateau Frontenac. Tons of restaurants and shops are located all around. Parking is available about 4 minute walk away, you probably won't need your car much. Very friendly staff and the room is modern and well-maintained. Wish we were staying longer!

Right in the heart of all the sights yet very quiet. Very resposive an easy to navigate. Room was very clean an had a beautiful view. FYI the tourist information center is on the first floor of the hotel. It's busy there during the day bu quiet in the morning and at nigt

Excellent location to tour the old city, only down side was parking is difficult to get to with all the one way streets and the steady traffic.

The hotel was in the perfect location, near many of the popular sites.

The hotel is close to the Chateau and in center of Vieux Quebec. Walking distance to all tourist attractions. Would come back n stay at the same hotel.

Very cute hotel, modern and clean. The only thing we didn't like is that it advertises a bar and restaurant, which is sort of false. The restaurant is next door with a bar, owned but not in the hotel itself.

O hotel é super bem localizado, em frente ao Chateau Frontenac. A recepção é no primeiro andar e não no hall, pois compartilham com uma agência de turismo. Não servem café da manhã, serviço de quarto somente a pedido. O quarto é grande e confortável, mas o banheiro, no chuveiro, é escuro. Faltou iluminação. Faltou, ainda, um aquecedor de toalhas, pois elas demoram a secar. O forte do hotel é a localização!

The hotel is nice, well located, closed to most of the attractions and restaurants. The staff was nice, though half of the time not at their desk as I noticed they were helping with the cleaning as well. The room looked impressive at first sight. Though the bath was a let down. There was no soap dish and we had to leave it on the paper; the sink did not have counter space - there were two very small glass shelves on the walls where barely anything fit in. There was a very small towel rack and the towels were staying wet after using them. We went over labor day weekend and the price of the room was double than during the week, so a bit disappointing. Food was very good. We ate at La Bouchette restaurant (here I had crepes) and lunches at Aux Anciens Canadians - this had 3 dish lunches for 39.99 that are super great.

Although it says that there is a bar and restaurant there is neither.

It’s very convenient and good location. The room is very simple but clean. No breakfast, no rugs on the cold tile flooring so that was disappointing and no slippers offered. Good heating, quiet, clean, easy check in, easy to get to all the cafes and stores from the hotel. I think it’s a great price for the location. It’s just nothing fancy.

Excellent location, small hotel above the tourist information centre. Room was very unique in style, tall ceilings, tastefully decorated, pristine with everything you need. We also really liked the restaurant, bar and their staff. Would visit again.

Location is amazing, steps away from Chateau Frontenac and many cafes and restaurants. Hotel front desk is actually on 1st floor as the lobby is allocated for tour bookings & info, so its open to public. By evening its quiet w key card entrance access only through the main doors, so we felt safe. Hotel premises were clean and staff were friendly. Our room had a great view of the chateau, spacious sq foot wise and the high ceiling makes it feel even more spacious. Comfy and clean bedding, even the pull out bed from sofa was pretty decent. Hotel even gave a business card for discounted meal for the restaurant downstairs. All in all a great stay and would def stay again.

Bags can be dropped in front, but closest parking 3 blocks away. Rates are $20 daily so reasonable for a big city. Rooms are very nice and we did have 2 chairs in our king room. Check in was easy and our room on the 2nd floor was serviced by the elevator. Some rooms in the 200 series are half a floor down so stairs to deal with bags. Hotel entrance has a number of stairs as well and that level has the information centre, a money exchange, an ATM as well as rooms. Restaurant next door at Auberge du Trésor is very good and you get a discount for guests (hotels common ownership). We've stayed at both but the Manoir rooms are larger in our opinion. A lovely stay. Would definitely return.
