Great hotel. Clean, comfortable and very friendly. A good selection of bars and restaurants in walking distance. I didn’t realize it was valet only, but that was reasonably priced and valets were fast and friendly. Overall I’d recommend and go back.

The Hancock Hotel is a beautiful property. It has everything needed for a comfortable stay: clean and comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant onsite as well as many great options that are walking distance in a very safe town, a very well-equipped exercise room and valet parking. If you are in town for meetings at the Marathon Petroleum Complex, you don't have to be exposed to the outdoor elements to go from building to building. However, there is a beautiful area behind the hotel and in front of Marathon to relax and enjoy a beautiful day.

The valet parking was very convenient. Worth the price. However, I did not notice that this was the only parking option at the time of booking. Great location on the Main Street of I vibrant mid size town. Really walkable with quality dining and entertainment options

Have always had a great stay here, and beds are very comfortable, but this last time the housekeeping prep of the room was not up to their usual standards…as though someone had used the room. One of the coffee cups was used, crumbs on the chair, and hardly any towels in the bathroom. It made we wonder how clean the rest of the room was. It was a quick Sunday night stay and didn’t notice these things til morning. I told the front desk when we checked out. They said they would tell the management. Never heard anything back.

Do not be fooled into thinking this is a nice hotel. I'm halfway convinced that the other reviews are fake. First of all, let me say that from the outside, it looks lovely. The finish outs are very nice - nice lobby, nice tile and shower in the bathroom. But that is about where it ends. First of all, we were there for three nights. Despite the fact that they claim to have daily housekeeping, they didn't visit our room once. Mistakes happen so one time I can excuse. But the entire stay? We even stopped at the front desk after the first time and mentioned that no one had come. They were so apologetic and said someone would be by that day for sure. We were literally out all day so they could have come at any time. When we returned, they had not come again. By the time we left, our trashcans were all overflowing, towels were everywhere, it was a mess. Second, the hotel is right on Main Street. Very convenient...during the day. Apparently, the thing to do in Findlay on the weekends is to cruise up and down Main until about midnight, reving your engine. It was insanely loud. Luckily our four year old was tired enough that he was able to fall asleep regardless. Two bright spots - the valet is very quick to retrieve your car. And there is a lovely breakfast restaurant across the street. And yes, I recognize that one of the two good things about this hotel isn't even at the hotel...

Updated and nicely furnished. The absolute cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in. My daughter is attending the university there so I’m glad I found it.

Recommended. Very clean. Very comfy. The only con is the hallway noise. I’ve stayed here several times and these rooms are not well noise insulated. I recommend bringing a fan or background white noise for sleeping.

I was surprised that the only option for parking was valet, which was additional on top of the room. We'd prefer to have access to our car without having to call for it. The room was nice, quiet and clean. My only complaint would be the bed was very hard, made sleeping painful.

Beautiful hotel, friendliest valet we’ve come in contact with. Huge bathroom, comfy bed, special little touches with so nice. Only downfall… our room 509 had a loud appliance running sound coming from the ceiling vent which we found out was the ice machine next door

The hotel is beautiful. Staff friendly. Rooms nice. Restaurant had great food. The only problem was shower door swings inside and blocks shower handle. I could not get warm water. Had to get wet and water was cold to try to adjust. Gave up.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. It has always been excellent. Except this last time. The body wash in the shower ran out mid shower. Luckily we’re prepared travelers and had a small bar of soap. The worst part was the second night my wife and I stopped at the front desk to ask for it to be refilled. We also wanted more coffee pods and creamer. The front desk manager or whatever his title was acted like it was a bother to get it and passed it off to a cleaner. He asked in a very snide manner what kind of creamer I wanted? I thought it was obvious since I wanted coffee pods that coffee creamer should be an easy request for him. I then heard him say he wanted to go and see the wedding party that was going on. I feel that whether it’s a large gathering or two people trying to go back to their room for the night everyone should be a priority. We will return to this hotel because other than this they have been spectacular every other time. He should work on his manners or go work elsewhere.

We were able to change rooms the second day of our stay with no issues. Staff was very helpful. We asked if any rooms with two beds were available and they moved us almost immediately. Very appreciative of the help.

Service not as good as other times in the sense that they overbooked and kept emailing if we wanted to cancel. We had Do Not Disturb sign on, so we didn’t get our room cleaned. Not problem, but we asked for clean towels three times and had to finally go and get them at the end of the day. Next day, they passed us by at 9:30 am. Same thing. Had to track someone down to pick up garbage, etc. so are we expected to leave the room at the crack of dawn to have our room cleaned or to get fresh towels? All that being said, it’s still best place to stay in Findlay.

Excellent hotel in all ways. The staff was impecable. Our room was large, squeaky clean, and inviting. Free bottle of water and Keurig coffee maker. The restaurant was $$$ but the food was excellent. I wish all fancy hotels were worth the money like this one.

We love the Hotel, we have stayed there in the past and it has always been excellent. We were disappointed in Mancy's steakhouse restaurant. Three of the fouir steaks we ordered were over cooked and tough. It has been fine in the past so we were shocked.

It has everything needed for a comfortable stay: clean and comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant onsite as well as many great options that are walking distance in a very safe town, a very well-equipped exercise room and valet parking. If you are in town for meetings at the Marathon Petroleum Complex, you don't have to be exposed to the outdoor elements to go from building to building. However, there is a beautiful area behind the hotel and in front of Marathon to relax and enjoy a beautiful day.
