Burke Mountain Hotel

Some of your staff are not friendly- management may want to remind them attitude matters. We had to drop our bikes off in your bike storage area as there was no parking available. We explained to someone seeing us at our car who was in a Burke truck we were leaving (in a space that wasn’t obstructing anyone to drop them quickly) he was rude . Then we tried to drive to the lower lot to park your wedding planner was the next one to give us a hard time. Two school busses blocked us in the circle and the first one was blocking everyone and idled there inappropriately with us stuck there for at least 5 min - we waited and realized they did’nt care about anyone they were blocking. we asked your wedding planner if they could move the bus so we could go… but she gave us a horrible attitude and said that was “the best she could do” and we’d have to wait. A pretty unbelievable way to handle that when we saw three other reasonable options where that bus could move to so we could finally go park our car (far away .. not exactly a prize for all of this). Eventually 10 min later the bus moved - it didn’t seem like that whole thing was necessary. Who thinks it’s ok to block off an entire driveway and idle there? She was unprofessional and nasty - not an acceptable way to treat other paying guests when you are running events here. Not a Even an apology for blocking us in. I have been to this area many times before and stayed here but prefer nicer people at the The Wildflower Inn.

This hotel is located in a beautiful area with amazing views. There is a restaurant and a pub in the hotel which makes it easy to dine. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and it is very clean. It offers a separate space for storage of mountain bikes in the summer.

Hotel was very nice. The hot tub could use some servicing. Jets were not working properly.

The parking situation was really bad. Get back at night and have to park a long distance away in the dark. Bar/Restaurant hours are terrible. The rooms were fabulous and very clean.

Beautiful, newly built hotel with great views on both sides—-you either face the spectacular Willoughby gap or you face uphill and get to watch the lifts and skiers in action! My kids loved the arcade and the convenience of the on-site restaurant and mini market off the lobby. The employees were welcoming and friendly. Our unit was lovely and so comfortable to come back to after a very cold day of skiiing. The only issue we had was that the parking does fill up when the hotel is busy. 10/10 recommend and will use this as my first choice of lodging when visiting the area in the future.

The rooms are newly finished and clean, but lacks a comfortable sitting chair. The kitchenette with half height refrigerator, 2-burner electric stove and microwave were a nice feature. Was disappointed the management did not inform us at the time of the reservation that all the hallways to the rooms would be under construction/renovation. Given that the hotel was full at this time of the season, was surprised there was only one small snackbar/limited menu dining option at the property.

Beautiful room! Only suggestion is for better signage to parking lot.

The property was under construction so it was difficult to rate the property. Also, I'm a light sleeper and trying to get to sleep was a little difficult as there was a droning generator sound all night. Otherwise the room was great.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, beautiful grounds, but your parking situation is a joke. Having to walk through the woods around the building unacceptable in my opinion. Would stay here again in the future!

When we had a concern with our first room, they helped easily give us a different room without hesitation. We also checked in early since we arrived early and our room was ready. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the on property bar/grille. We were thankful for the kitchen in our room too so we could prepare our own meals. Very good stay!

Beautiful views and very clean and bright rooms overlooking the ski lifts and mountains

Beautiful place! The views are incredible. Very clean. Staff is nice. However, there didn’t seem to be a lot going on. Couldn’t find breakfast or coffee in the hotel. Only one restaurant was open ( we thought there was 2) Not much else for food/drink options in the nearby town either.

Great room and property. Puzzled that there were a couple of items like a broken bathroom light and a bad patch job on one part of the drywall in a place this nice because otherwise this is a really nice resort.

We were there 1 night but if it had been a longer stay we would have used the kitchen. Kitchen was great but it was light on tools , pots and things to make preparing food easy. No paper towels sponge to scrub dishes. A full complement of in shower products… maybe a fixed to the wall? Blankets provided for pullout sofa were great! But didn’t feel fresh. Overall we loved our stay

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Amd it is a beutiful property.

The hotel is in a beautiful area and is at the base of a ski slope. The rooms were large but oddly designed; the space could have been much more comfortable and welcoming. The only real problem was the lack of cleanliness. The floor and shower had not been cleaned… the shower drain was almost clogged with long black hair when we arrived. I’ll stay elsewhere in the future.

Lovely hotel but sadly there were no house keeping services in our 5 day stay.

The hotel was a peaceful retreat. We loved the convenient secure bike storage. The suite offered plenty of room and the shower had really good pressure. The balcony was nice to enjoy the view for morning coffee. Dining options are limited if you don’t have transportation. Wish the fireplace was operational in the summer for the rainy cold day. The kitchen was great for a quick snack but no hot pads.

Relaxing and comfortable. Fireplace in the room, a view of the mountain ski slopes and comfortable bed. We enjoyed our short stay.

Facility itself is very clean, staff is welcoming and friendly. One issue is the showers, they're only half a pane of glass and then an opening with no door it makes for a messy showering experience and a soaking wet floor. Also the parking can be very frustrating. There is only about 30-4 main parking spots in front of the main building which can be inconvenient in the rain or when moving luggage around as you have

A very nice stay with a beautiful view of the ski area from our deck on the third floor. We had a frig, stove top, dishes and microwave. There is a nice table and chairs but no sitting areas. We brought the deck chairs and table into the room.

the hotel is great but most hotel rooms have a CONFORTABLE CHAIR, the view is wonderful and the family was here to have a service for my son as we were Vermonters years ago'

View was amazing! Room and hotel were good. Bar/grill was great. Limited coffee/tea options for room was very limited/minimal but I guess it was set up more for self catering stays! Hotel had no soul to speak of.

Very unique setting was wonderful. They need to have at least another chair and a luggage rack in the room.

I have been going to Burke Mountain since I was a kid The Mountain itself is fantastic Great family resort. however this was our first time staying at the Burke Mountain Hotel I could not be more disappointed with the staff They were extremely rude at check in and check out When asked for towels are help in the gift shop the staff could not be bothered helping I have never been to a hotel with such a terrible staff They were just down right mean I stayed with 4 other families who also had similar experiences with the staff it really was unfortunate

Great looking building and property. You can tell it's well cared for. Seth checked us in, he was great. Polite, informative, and easy to talk to. Great stay so far!

Our stay was very enjoyable, it was nice to stay at a resort that is so well taken care of with a great staff.

It was agreat ski resort

The hotel is in a beautiful area and is at the base of a ski slope. The rooms were large but oddly designed; the space could have been much more comfortable and welcoming. The only real problem was the lack of cleanliness. The floor and shower had not been cleaned… the shower drain was almost clogged with long black hair when we arrived. I’ll stay elsewhere in the future.

The hotel is beautiful! I'm sure it's very busy during ski season, but I was there for work in June, so it was very quiet. The building is gorgeous, the bar was nice with a very friendly bartender, and the room was great.

My stay was great. Off season for a ski mountain, so the place was wonderfully quiet. The mattress was comfy, the lights in the room have a neat feature to keep you from forgetting to turn them off, internet is good (supported a conference call), dinner in the pub was excellent as were the views!

Staff were kind and helpful. In room kitchenette was nicely appointed. Badly needed a new mattress. The king bed had two twin mattresses that both sunk to the middle . Ate one evening at the pub. The food and service were great! Everything you need, but nothing more.
