Moxy Chattanooga Downtown

Excellent service, dog friendly, great bar and centrally located. Highly recommended, will stay again.

We loved the vibe of The Moxy! They really packed in so much character and entertainment in this hotel. The room was exactly what we needed and I appreciate the larger size toiletries that were available. The lobby area was a big hit for our group with the pool table and games available and plenty of seating. The bar served up great drinks and the staff was very friendly and offered suggestions about restaurants close by. The location was convenient to downtown activities. We would definitely stay here again!

It was a nice place to stay if you are looking for somewhere to sleep and get a drink. There is no pool, no room service, no restaurant. Bar token for 1 drink per guest and gym included.

My mom and I had an amazing stay at the Moxy for my husband’s Iron Man race. It was such a unique atmosphere and there was so much attention to detail in everything. The staff was helpful and accommodating. Aesthetics: 10/10. The walkability to shops and restaurants was wonderful. Gym was gorgeous. Would definitely return and can’t wait to stay at another Moxy when visiting other cities.

Definitely the most fun hotel I’ve ever stayed at! My wife and I stayed up late each night playing pool and games in the lobby. We had the most fun and didn’t even have to leave our hotel very cool atmosphere.

The rooms were great! Very noisy though. Breakfast? You had to go to bar to order! $22 a night for parking for 2 cars each night!! $88 We parked in the lot where there were no scan codes and came back to a ticket. The girl who checked us in said nothing about the fee! Then we were charged 3 times for 1 car! There was no mention of the parking fee when reservations were made! Nothing in the room that explained anything!! Really frustrated!

The Moxy is our new favorite hotel in downtown Chattanooga. The atmosphere of this hotel is very chill. They have a bar with plenty of casual seating. A spacious outdoor area with additional seating. It is a modern industrial style hotel. The room is minimalistic. Will definitely stay here again when we stay downtown.

This is a fun hotel with a modern vibe. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean, with a very laid back atmosphere. You check in at the bar. Every guest is given a chip to be used for a free drink. Feels safe and is located downtown

Ease of entry and exit was a plus. The interior design was very nice. Bed sheets were dirty and the AC unit did not work.

Only bad thing about it, room smelled of cigarettes, and they were smoking and vaping in courtyard. Front desk is connected to bar, charged me a extra $30.00 said it would roll off in a few days.

This hotel is in a great location within shops and restaurants. It is also decorated very fun! I loved the look and feel of the hotel. It was quiet and comfy. It had a lot of cool features and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was my shower seemed a bit dirty and kind of left me feeling icky for the evening. I did notice crumbs and dirt on the floor by my bed as well. Overall a nice place to stay for the evening.

I was very pleased my entire trip staying at the Moxy. The check in process was very simple, the staff was friendly, and the room was very clean. There is the option to not have the linens changed, which I thought was interesting. I would 10/10 stay again and plan on checking out other Moxy hotels

What a cool concept... unforgettablely there were some missing components thatbwould make this a 5 star stay. First of all the design is really fun with a hip, modern vibe, great staff and quirky touches. The missing compoenets on my stay were small and easily fixable: - The bar had multipme taps, but only one was functiinal serving miller beer, instead of a local brew. Pretty disappointing considering the vobe at the bar was definately "craft beer" oriented. - Instead of irons and ironing boards in the room they offer an ironing station on each floor. Not super convenient, but I had no choice. - The ironing station has an ironing board mounted (unmoveable) for left handed people, since the narrower end faces right... and there is no room to get to the other side. - The iron is clunky with a steam hose mounted to the reservoir on the floor. - the iron resevoir was empy when I went. There is a water filerting machine on the wall to refill the resevoir, but no cup or container to take the water from the wall to the resevoir on the floor. - My room was for people with disabilities and the shower had 3 diverter settings for multiple showerheads. Unfortunately, at 5am when I was taking my shower I realized that the diverter to the rain shower was not working, so I had to use the handheld shower. Which was okay, just less convenient. - Also when I was taking my shower I realized the shampoo bottle was empty. Hand soap it is...

I did have this weird noise I would occasionally hear. Felt like the pipes or the air conditioning was squealing. But the staff was overall nice. Not too bad of an experience for my first time in TN.

The Moxy is such a fantastic hotel! The location is great; you can walk to many restaurants and shops. The hotel is nice, clean but also casual. I love that dogs are allowed and that you get a token for a drink at the bar. The rooms are different than typical hotels in the best way, design and style-wise (so many pegs, so little time). The beds were very hard, but otherwise, all was fantastic!

Check in was great. Service was great but rooms are really tiny and beds uncomfortable.

Great vibe at the Moxy, most definitely geared towards a younger generation... which was not us lol. Friendly service & easy check in, the bar was a bonus(minus those ridiculous paper straws) The double queen room had zero space for 3 people, let alone their belongings. Our room looked like a crowded ship cabin or a cluttered thrift store! There was next to no floor space & just a wall full of knobs to hang things. I probably would not stay here again.

The hotel and room were clean, comfortable and within walking distance to so many restaurants and little shops! A downside of our room was, it being on the streetside, we heard every loud car that passed. I guess that's the price of staying downtown! Overall, a very good experience!

The rooms were small, but so differently awesome. Will definitely go back when in the Chattanooga area. Did not like the $20 parking though.

For the price the room was too small. There was no closet. The bed was low to the ground and there was only one chair in the room which you had to keep pushed in the corner so you didn't trip over it. The only table that was in the room was a small 3 legged folding table hanging on the wall that you had to take down and set up. The entry door to the hotel room had a window in it with a blind which made noise or voices from inside the rooms or from the hallway very noticeable .The parking was somewhat limited and it came with a $22 a night fee to use the parking lot. The staff was polite and willing to do what they could. The only good thing I could really say about the place is It had a decent shower. But the door to the bathroom was a Sliding barn door which gave you Little privacy if you was to want it. I will not be back to stay at the Moxy

The hotel is very modern. Very clean The room is very small with no mini fridge. It did have one of those mini space saving tables that hang on the wall that I did take down and use. It had no closet however, it did have pegs on the wall with 3 hangers which was enough for our 2 shirts. I'm not sure what other rooms are available but our room is not a long staying room.

Extremely overpriced!! Extremely small room. No closet. No refrigerator. Uncomfortable bed. Noisy.

We love the Moxi and stay there often. This weekend was the first weekend we chose to go somewhere else to hang out. The bar was not crowded, but way too slow. The bar tenders seemed to all be new and not know what liquors the bar stocked or how to make requested drinks. They were not the friendly staff we are used to at the Moxi. Other than that the hotel is wonderful as always.

It was disappointing. Very cool atmosphere but the customer service was poor. I requested a particular room and we were given a handicapped room that was less to be desired. We got locked out of our room a few times because the battery on our door was dead. They fixed it but nothing was offered for the inconvenience. A lot to pay for something that does live up to Marriott’s standard.

Cool hotel with a nice bar. The location of the hotel is perfect. There are a ton of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Overall the hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The bartender was rude, so I had one drink and went somewhere else.

Enjoyed the hotel, but asked for conditioner and it was never delivered. The free safe parking was a welcomed perk! I will stay here again!

This is a great location if you are going to the Chattanooga Choo Choo complex. The hotel is super cute! The staff was so nice at check-in and at the bar, too.

The property seems to be in an old industrial section of the city. Walkable to restaurants, including an amazing pizza restaurant/arcade (great for kids) and an awesome breakfast restaurant (casual), Kenny’s. Also walkable to museums and theaters. The property was clean and the staff was so nice and accommodating. The only negative was that there seemed to be quite a few homeless people in the area.

May have missed it in hotel info but parking is $22 a night! Also had a room facing King street and there is considerable street noise, cars and multiple semi's going to ADM plant down the street. Room facing parking lot may have been quieter.

Great location that is close enough to walk to downtown, but far enough to not have to deal with noise and crowds. They share a parking lot with a brewery and a pizza place with a downstairs lounge. Staff is super friendly, check in is at the bar, and you get a token for a free welcome drink. Rooms are small (typical for Moxy), but clean and comfortable. It is the only place we'll stay in Chattanooga

I was able to check into my room while eating lunch at the bar, that was great. The valet ticketing is automated it goes through a website for car requests and payment, that was great. The bar had a pool table, a shuffle board and a fuseball table. The personnel were very friendly and efficient. The bed in the room was not very comfortable, the bathroom was excellent with a hand wand in the shower.

Beautiful hotel, loved our room. The staff was so very kind and welcoming. The coolest part was the hidden speakeasy bar. It had the best food and drinks. Will definitely be going back here to stay our next trip to Chattanooga.
