The both elevators smelled very bad.

This is the dirtiest hotel I ever stayed at. The room was clean but the hallway was never vacuumed and the carpet was filthy. And the elevators and tiled halls were never swept or mopped. It's a pet friendly hotel and both elevators smelled terrible. They are either understaffed, or management just doesn't care about the cleanliness of common areas. Pet friendliness does not mean the hotel has to be dirty. The room was spacious and well-appointed, but I could never recommend this hotel to anyone. They need to hire an overnight janitorial service.

Fantastic stay. Everything was so clean. They provided enough towels for our family of 4 . The pool was warm!! Location is close to everything. Breakfast was good! We had a great time there. Highly recommend.

Pool heater was BROKEN. No admittance. We booked this hotel specifically for a pool because of a long drive and were bitterly disappointed. If a major selling-point is off limits, PLEASE notify web outlets. This was bait-and-switch. Clean facility, good breakfast.

The indoor pool is advertised as heated but it was not. It was freezing cold. I couldn’t even get in because it was too cold. During our 2nd day, the pool was closed. Swimming was supposed to be a big part of our family trip and we didn’t get to do it. We also had to ask for toilet paper as there was only a half roll upon arrival.

Very clean, the only thing I concern was the indoor pool. The water was very cold to be in the winter time.

The room was really nice. And the pool was warm. My grand daughter had a blast

So coming from a terrible hotel this was a breath of fresh air. Staff was so friendly including the maintenance man who was called in from his day off to let us back into the laundry room. That said there is room for improvement. The pool area was over run and dirty both nights. Breakfast sandwiches should be wrapped to avoid them getting stale and hard. This is a very good option when pricing is soft. When Lancaster decides to be at $300+ a night there are better options.

Front desk staff was great. The rest of the hotel experience was underwhelming. Carpets in the hallways and in our room were filthy. Sheets, especially those for the sofa bed, needed replacing. No conditioner in the shower, which was strange. Shower gel and shampoo were nice. Room had a weird layout. TV was viewable from the sofa and one bed. Usually rooms that size and at that price point have two TVs. Breakfast was pretty meh. Not many options.

Fabulous room with kitchen, great breakfast and hotel amenities. Hotel is located close to major stores & restaurants, and is a quick Uber ride to the Amtrak train station.

Overall stay was very nice. We normally stay here on a weekend when it's much busier. Hotel is very clean and staff was quick to respond to any needs we had. My only complaints are the odor in the elevator and our bathroom sink had a slow drain. Otherwise everything was perfect. We will definitely stay at this hotel next year on our annual visit to Day out with Thomas.

Hotel room is nice and spacious. Having a nice sized kitchen really helped. Having a pool and gym was also a nice addition. My complaint was that the room had a mildew smell. Whenever hotels have carpet, I know its been a while since they were deep cleaned, but at this hotel I knew that for sure due to the smell. We asked for a room spray but they could not find any, they offered another room but we did not feel like moving everything. Also the sofa is like linen and I didn't want to sit on it as they can't really be properly cleaned between stays. A bit picky, but if that is an issue for you something to keep in mind.

This is a pretty modern hotel that looks new/newly renovated. The rooms are roomy and clean. We got a double bed room with a sofa bed that has its own curtain divider for privacy. We only had 5 people, but the room is able to sleep 6. We are traveling with kids and we really appreciated the many wall shelvings and tables/storage areas in the room that enabled everyone to stole their possessions in plain sight. There’s a wheeled large table that was put against the TV console table, but can be pulled out all the way by the beds so the kids can use it as a dinning table. The kitchenette had all the dishes and utensils we needed. Hot Breakfast was good, but it seemed there wasn’t enough staff to replenish the breakfast sandwiches or that they underestimated how many guests were staying there.

Room above was very noisy after 10pm. Staff did not handle the problem properly. I had to go up and say something.

I’ll preface this by saying I’m not a picky person and even though we travel relatively frequently, I have never left a review, either positive or negative. This hotel was in a decent location and was relatively clean and comfortable. One thing I found strange was that our bathroom door had no way to completely close. It was a sliding door with a lock, but nowhere for the lock to go and it was lopsided, so that the top was flush with the wall, but the bottom was not. As a person who values privacy, this was a bit of an issue. I would not even be on here mentioning it however, if it were not for our check in experience. My daughter and I walked in, bags in hand and went to the front desk, where we were not acknowledged in any way by either of the two women working there. We went to the closest one, who was looking down (maybe working? I’m not sure), but even when I said hello, I got no response other than a cold stare. She finally asked if she could help me after I took my ID out. I highly suggest that someone train staff to be more welcoming and friendly… especially the front desk staff. In all the hotels I have ever stayed at this has never happened before. This girl was borderline rude and I was not happy. I didn’t get her name, but she was young and had red hair. The women at the desk upon checking out was very nice. We will be back in the area next year at around the same time of year and will choose a different hotel purely because of the rude behavior of the front des.

Having stayed the week prior at the Home2 Suites in Ephrata, I was expecting an exceptional experience as I had there. Not the case at the Lancaster location. At check in the incompetent unfriendly staff member gave me someone else room despite having handed her my ID with my name clearly on it! Then told me I needed to put $175 on my credit card for incidentals for a 2 night stay. I went up to the room and it was not what I booked, came back down and THEN, she told me I made 2 reservations and I need to pay for both (that was what the $175 was for- I was paying for someone else room). She finally realized she gave me someone else room and told me I'd have to call Hilton and Orbitz (I booked and prepaid for the room) and straighten it all out with them. Luckily the manager walked into the hotel at the time and figured out what happened. He assured me he'd make sure the charge for the other room was removed and follow up with me. He never did follow up. The room I was put in was right across from the elevator and had the door sweep removed so there was a large gap between the bottom of the door and the floor allowing noise every time someone was chatting at the elevator. Did they offer any kind of compensation for all this? No. I won't be coming back. If you want to stay at a Home2Suites in the area go to the location in Ephrata. I had a wonderful stay there.

Location was great. B-fast was in need of more healthy options for the price of this room. Room needed some small fixes, (no bath door latch.)

Beautiful room with dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, sink, and dishes. Fantastic place!

Staff service was very poor esp late night shift. After a long day trip around this area, we expected a good rest in this cozy place. We arrived around 9pm. After settling down, we decided to get some drinks at 11:30 pm. The receptionist asked for our ID’s. After providing it, she told us, “Oh, we don’t sell drinks after 11pm.” That specific policy was not written anywhere in the guidelines. We did not insisted since it’s late already. Then for breakfast, we were informed it is from 7-10am. 9:04 when we get down to lobbby, we were denied from getting breakfast saying it’s only until 9am. Staff service and policies are very disappointing, inconvenient and inconsistent.

Only the two woman working the desk in the morning were actually nice and knew what they were doing. Everyone else was not welcoming at all.

Love Hilton hotels, but hate their Home2 brand. Stayed at them several times and have not had one good experience. One of the girls at the counter was very rude when I asked for anything. Like it was going too far out of her way to assist you. Rooms were fake cleaned. Just look at the light bulbs in the lamps (half inch of dust). No one pays attention to details anymore. Mediocrity rules the world now and less than the best is perfectly acceptable.

This hotel is conveniently located across from an awesome shopping center with everything you’d need! There’s a Target, Whole Foods, and plenty of dining options (Chic Fila, PG Changs, Harvest, Cava, & more). It’s also pretty centrally located to the rest of Lancaster or even if you need to go to Lititz.

The only thing I did not like was the $125 they charged to my card "in case I spilled some wine or something." I can understand keeping my credit card on file in case there is damage, but to charge me $125 with a promise to refund it does not sit right with me and this should be disclosed clearly before booking. Additionally, just a heads up. The hotel says 19 minute walk to the train station. They omitted to mention that the walk is down a busy highway and you have to walk on the street in parts. Other than that, the room was wonderful. Clean, comfortable, I could live there! Most staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good, more fresh options would always be nice. Most people would not find it walkable to town, but you can do it if you're determined, it worked for me but I may not do it twice. It was in a good location otherwise, across from a mall with Whole Foods, some restaurants, and also walking distance to a Barnes & Noble, which was a bonus for me. It is also near the expressway, so very convenient if driving.

My stay was good. The hotel room was clean and had the essentials that was needed. I loved that it was next to a lot of places to eat and about 13 minutes to spooky nook. Breakfast was good and hot. Coffee was nice and hot and fresh. I would stay here again for my kids sports events at spooky nook.

We loved that the 5 of us could stay in one room. The kitchen area was perfect. The breakfast had so many choices to meet everyone’s wants/needs. Staff were respectful and helpful. We will stay again next year for our girls trip!

All around it was a great stay!! Staff was extremely friendly and the continental breakfast was amazing!! hot omelets fresh breakfast sandwiches!! Spot on!! We came for a basketball tournament and my kids really enjoyed themselves
