Staff was friendly. Check in/out easy. Room was clean. Pool was closed (drained & empty). No mention of it at booking either, just a note posted at the desk when we walked in. We had kids waiting to swim, had we known the pool was closed, we would've stayed somewhere else.

Hotel is bordered by I-94 on one side, and 24-hour truck parking on the other side, but hotel lobby doors are locked at 10pm, so that made us feel a little safer. Hotel lobby, stairs, and hallways were dirty. Room was clean, and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was tiny. Pool was OK, but hot tub was out of order, and we heard it has been that way for a long time. I would give this hotel a 2 1/2 stars at best.

I booked a jacuzzi suite, then got a call the day of my stay saying they double booked and I got booted out. When I got to the hotel the pool and hot tub were closed as well. VERY unhappy with Americinn! I will NOT use this hotel ever again

Very clean. Nice supportive mattress. Minor issues with television, microwave that were resolved. Overall, a good night sleep which was our main goal. The pool was down which was disappointing.

The pool & hot tub we’re both closed - in fact they were empty. I would have stayed somewhere else if I had of been notified. Rooms need some updating. Staff was great.

Pool was closed unbeknownst to us until after we checked in. Hotel definitely has issues with moisture. Went to front desk on multiple occasions and no one was there as person was outside smoking. I can see why it was the only hotel available.

The hotel was under renovations when we got there which we did not know. The pool and hot tub were closed. Crews were replacing carpets in the hallway which was noisy all day long. The room keys kept not working and the staff was rude when we had to ask for new keys. The entire experience was not great. We were only in the area because my father in law was in the hospital for a triple bypass surgery so having our hotel experience be bad on top of that stress was not great.

I don’t normally complain like this but this hotel has turned into the gutter. I am in waiting for my apartment and needed somewhere to just be able to sleep. I get checked in and walk to my room and it’s being held open by a chair and a pole of some sort laying in it, eh whatever, technology is not perfect and neither are humans. But then I was checked into a handicapped room. Mind you there’s no pool or hot tub but the rates have barely budged. Renovating is one thing but l cannot believe the price for the quality. The debris left in the hallways on a weekend with no workers is so bad. Garbages were overflowing outside so that’s the first thing you see. Didn’t mind much was just day by day staying until my home was open but I had to go, it was so bad. I could smell urine in the corner of the room by on and near the bed. I pull the sheets down and the whole mattress cover is covered in pee stains. This hotel is bad. I feel bad for the one or two employees that get the brunt of it. I do feel like they have employees that live there and were pounding upstairs all night. The fire alarms went off, I ended up arriving late to work. Pros: head of housekeeping I’m assuming seems to be trying, she had to tell the front desk girl who was blasting rap music what to do in case a fire drill. The guy after the drill who apologized and went and got me a key when mine didn’t work. He was super helpful and friendly. The water is nice and hot in the shower.

The place is disquesting floors and carpet dirty especially in the lounge area Carpet in rooms were all ripped up ceiling tiles about ready to fall in shower The only plus was the bed was comfortable and seemed clean My husband and I went to try out the hot tub which was down they said because of repair The walls of the hallway ways looked like a first grader painted them breakfast was gross my husband went to get orange juice and it was only water that came out I’m really surprised this place passes inspection by the state

Room was very dirty, I had to ask for Clorox wipes, as soon as we walked in the room, I could see the wooden headboard was disgustingly dirty! I cleaned the headboard! Fridge was so dirty, I could smell cigarette smoke all night in our room😡

This is a very rundown and outdated hotel. Staff was very hard to get ahold of and rarely at the front desk. Entire hotel was extremely dirty. Rooms didn’t appear to be cleaned well, if at all. Toilet was not cleaned from previous stay and didn’t work. Pool has been unavailable for months. Room had a terrible smell of dirty shoes/feet. Would not recommend this hotel for anyone.

This had been our go to when we visit relatives in MN. Unfortunately the place has become very run down. Rooms smelled musty and carpet in our room appeared to be damp. Bathroom smelled like urine and paint on the walls had strange stains running down them and the curtains were deteriorating. The outdoor grassy pet area had hundreds of cigarette butts and also had garbage. We won’t stay here again next visit to MN will be finding an alternative. My recommendation new paint in rooms, refresh bedding & replace carpet in all rooms with vinyl tile especially since it’s a pet-friendly hotel.

This is a very basic motel. It was mediocre in terms of cleanliness and overall ambience. The front desk woman was very nice. The refrigerator had an high-pitched squealing noise so we had to unplug it and then all of the bedside lamps and outlets stopped working while we were there. The alternate entrance door had to be pulled tight to close and lock. Highway noise is notable.

The bathroom sink had cup rings on it, it hadn't been cleaned properly. The sink drain was worse than slow, the desk chair was broken, the alarm clock was broken. Peeling paint and worn fixtures. The beds were OK.

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights. Overall, it was adequate but there were things that could have used improving. PARKING: On arriving, there was road construction work preventing us from entrance to the parking lot and no indication of a detour POOL: The Pool/Hot Tub were closed all week ROOM SECURITY: Our room keys stopped working after the 1st night, then again on the 2nd night. The property replaced all room door-lock mechanisms; this new hardware prevented inside security latch from working BREAKFAST: For the entire stay, the House Blend breakfast coffee was THE WORST I have ever tasted. (The room coffee packets were better tasting!) Not enough staff watching when things run out; had to alert staff myself then wait as new coffee was brewed (no backups waiting) ROOM CLEANING: Claim of room cleaning every 2 days for extended stays is wrong; apparently, that was suspended due to COVID. If you want the room cleaned, you have to tell them.

The place could be improved, the tub drained real slow while taking a shower. The wifi seemed very unstable and I had to reconnect every 10 min or so. The bed wasn't great, btt it was OK. The room was clean, and the staff seemed very nice.

Both myself and Expedia tried to change the date by one day due to scheduling error. After several days of calling and emails both by myslef and expedia we could not get anybody to answer the phone. I will never stay in this chain of hotels again, just lost 100 dollers.
Both myself and Expedia tried to change the date by one day due to scheduling error. After several days of calling and emails both by myslef and expedia we could not get anybody to answer the phone. I will never stay in this chain of hotels again, just lost 100 dollers.

It started when we checked in, he could not find our reservation when I had it pulled up on my phone. He kept asking if I had the right day even after showing him my reservation email. He had my ID and still couldn’t figure out what name to type into the computer. Finally found my reservation, we got into our room, not long after, the person behind us when we were checking in was coming into our room with a key. They had given keys to 2 different people at the exact same time for the same room. We then left and came back later and the hallway smelled horribly of weed. Their hot tub was also not working. With it being winter it would have been nice to have it working. We will not be staying with them again.

Check in was laborious. The clerk did not seem familiar with all the screens/technology he was working with. English pronunciation made understanding him difficult. When I affirmed I had a pet it was time consuming to pay the charge and change to a different room. Breakfast was fine. Hotel was clean and nice and safe even if it looked sketchy at first.

Front Desk person rude.Gave impression did’nt want anything to do with checking me in. Whistled at his relief person several times. Unprofessional! Reserved a handicapped room gave me a non handicapped room 2nd level. When I showed him my reservation said handicapped crabblily gave me a room downstairs. Not handicapped. When I returned to the front desk to point this out he handed me to the woman who he whistled at. She was much nicer and finally got me a handicapped room I reserved. I use to work at a hotel front desk and this was clearly the worst experience I ever had.

Pool was closed unbeknownst to us until after we checked in. Hotel definitely has issues with moisture. Went to front desk on multiple occasions and no one was there as person was outside smoking. I can see why it was the only hotel available.

Terrible. We chose this hotel as it had a pool. We paid more for this reason. We get there and there is a piece of paper on the front desk saying "pool closed". Apparently it's been closed for a year. We were given keys to a room that was already occupied. Front desk told us they have no way of knowing which room is empty We were then given keys to a 2nd where the door didn't lock. Not very safe considering they don't know if a room is occupied. The only thing they could do was cancel our reservation. We agreed and went to the Travelodge down the street. It's been a week and they've not refunded me yet. Having to argue my case with Expedia customer service now. Do not stay here

Hotel is bordered by I-94 on one side, and 24-hour truck parking on the other side, but hotel lobby doors are locked at 10pm, so that made us feel a little safer. Hotel lobby, stairs, and hallways were dirty. Room was clean, and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was tiny. Pool was OK, but hot tub was out of order, and we heard it has been that way for a long time. I would give this hotel a 2 1/2 stars at best.

Be careful of the address. There are two AmericInn in Saint Cloud. The address on my confirmation took me to the wrong facility. Our rooms were in the other motel about 5 miles away. Not a great surprise to get after you’ve driven 12 hours.

Basically a truck stop. However, it was clean and the breakfast was decent. Also, RJ's restaurant was basically right next door (with lots of truckers present) served some very good food, at very affordable prices, and the steak was extremely melt-in-your mouth good. Worthy of any high-end steak house I've eaten at.

The hotel was right off the highway on our way home. The front desk attendant was helpful. The rooms were not the cleanest and smelled like smoke. The downtown was eerily empty but the Indian restaurant we ate at, Kohinoor, was excellent. Overall, the stay was fine.

Have stayed at this property 4 or 5 times and it seems to be headed in the wrong direction. Probably will look elsewhere next time in town.

I booked a king size bed and paid for it before we left on vacation. The afternoon we were to get there. They called us and said we have no king bed available. So we got 2 queen bed. I will not recommend that hotel nor never stay again. Breakfast was cold. Coffee was a day old.

We stayed for three nights, when we arrived there was blood and stains on our bedding as well as no blankets on one of the beds. Our room was never cleaned and linens were never changed. The power also went out twice and took hours to come back on this was an issue for us given the fact our son is on an oxygen machine that cannot run very long without being plugged in as well as another machine that needs plugged in 24/7. Our stay was quite unenjoyable and we will not be staying here again.
