Booked this hotel last minute was traveling home from new orleans. Room was huge we did find some wrappers on the floor and tub didn't drain untill i pulled the stopper out of hole. Didn't get to use pool it is down for repairs

Our room and common spaces seemed clean. No icky bedspread. Front desk staff was always very helpful. There was a nice selection of options available for breakfast, and coffee and hot water for tea available all the time. Negatives: The pool was out of order the whole time we were there, the mattress was old and tired and gave my husband a backache, and the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner provided are thin and cheap (bring your own if you can!) Also, even with the Hotels.com discount this place seemed pricey for what you get. Also, I didn't realize that this hotel is now owned by Choice Hotels, not the Radisson chain, which I wish I had known prior to booking.

Checked in and was told the pool was closed. Was given the option to go down the street to swim at the Holiday Inn. So we did, but there was nowhere to change after we swam and it was 20 degrees outside and we froze to death going back outside and back to our hotel. We had a baby and a small child so whole issue was extremely inconvenient. Our room wasn’t clean. There was enough dirt in the closet to be swept with a broom. Hair in bathtub and powder in the floor left by the previous occupants. Cold air came in the window like no other, and the heat stopped working at 10:30pm. After freezing all night I fixed it myself at 7am. Took 45 minutes. When I complained I was given excuses and an apology. Worst hotel stay ever. Would recommend the Holiday Inn down the street. They were very nice and much friendlier than Country Inns employees, and their lobby looked much nicer than Country Inn.

We stayed at this hotel in what was advertised as one of the best rooms. It was a suite and thus more expensive which was what we wanted. Due to weather our plans changed and they where very helpful with that so no complaints there but the room it's self was disappointing. The enormous crack in the stub made the whole bottom of the tube move when you stepped on it. The exhaust fan hanging down was also not good. You can see by the caulk on the crack that they know they had a problem. When we brought all this up to reception upon check out they where aware of the issues but did nothing. The parking lot was ice covered and dangerous. Overall feeling that no one cares. It was clean the bed was comfortable but I would not stay again especially at a premium price

They had an issue in the middle of the night with water heaterand did not inform guests. I drank and gave brown tinted water in the middle of the night. This brown color water prevented us from using shower in morning and front staff member said I wouldn’t drink water. I had to beg for bottled water. Hotel communication to guests would have been easy as slipping paper under door. We have stayed here dozens of times this was the worst

This has become our go-to overnight stop between Atlanta and Kansas City with the family. The hotel is newly renovated and safe, and the staff is always super-friendly. The kids love the indoor pool and the hubby loves the workout room. The beds/pillows are comfy, the room is clean, and the bathrooms include all the basics. The included breakfast has everything you could want…a selection of hot items and a make-your-own waffle station…plus oatmeal, fruit, yogurts, cereals, etc. A selection of juices, coffee for the grown-ups, and hot chocolate for the kids. Really, it’s an all-around great stay.

This hotel is clean and the beds are very comfortable. The staff was helpful. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because of the lack of coffee. The machine in the breakfast area was broken as was the machine in my room. There are several restaurants including a coffee shop and Waffle House within a short walking distance but I would think they could have gone to Walmart and purchased a new machine for the lobby instead of making a laminated sign for the broken machine. It makes me wonder if they are getting a kick back from the coffee shop next door! That being said, it was a very good hotel and I would use it again and recommend it:)

We really liked the cleanliness of the room and the comfort of the bed and pillows. It had a nice shower with plenty of water and water pressure. It was very near to an assortment of fast food places to eat and they had a very good breakfast the next morning.

The check in process was amazing. I expect a little southern hospitality in this part of the state, but they went above and beyond making sure that we picked the right rooms. There was a band "hinder" playing a concert in te let next to the hotel, which was actually really cool, but she made sure to ask us if that would bother us and even knew when they would stop. The room was very clean and taken care of, even though the features are dated. It lacks a thermostat and honestly has an older HVAC system. This means that the room was the perfect temperature, but there was a bit of dampness in the air. It would help to upgrade. But it didn't bother my sleeping and the bed was comfortable enough. Every staff member said "Hello" and did what they could to help. Freah cookies in the lobby were great. The breakfast was only so, so. I think that there is room for improvement here. Fresher food would be the place that I would start. Krispy Kreme is on your doorstep, make a deal. Also, in my humble opinion taking a look at how the coffee is made would not hurt, it might be a water filter that is needed. Not sure there. Over all, I would stay here again. If I were the corporate company or ownership, I would make sure that this general manager has everything that they need to make this property better. It's a true example of doing the best you can with what you have.
