Room spacious and clean. Friendly staff and easy check in. Hockey families had kids running and noisy in hallways until midnight while parents gathered in breakfast room. Breakfast area small and could not accommodate the sold out hotel. Kids everywhere. 2 floors, no elevator so if mobility issues, clarify ground level at reservation time. For convenience to the Arena, I would consider staying again and hope it isn’t a tournament weekend.

Really great and helpful staff at the front desk. I arrived on business in a Tuesday and for some reason the hotel (and hotels in the area) was completely full. The morning breakfast was packed and difficult to access food without someone reaching over or rubbing against you. Upon entrance in the room there was a smoky, dirty kind-of odour. The gym was very poor. The treadmill randomly stopped mid run - I can foresee this being very dangerous where knee stability is an issue. The stair stepper also did not work. Apart from these machines the only other cardio is a upright bike, that seemed to work.

The walls were paper thin, could hear next room over very easily. There was no parking. Even though rooms have assigned spots. Reception said that some rooms had 4-5 cars which doesn’t make sense. Would be nice if they enforced that more

The room sith king size bed was very clean and fresh. Great job to the house keeping. Breakfast had a good variety even for me who does not eat bread/ batter products. No elevators , so if accessibility is needed lots of stairs to the second floor, and if you have many suitcase to bring from your vehicle no cart to do it because of second floor. We had to wait 10 minutes when we arrived as there were no one at desk except a sign. But when she did come she was efficient. Unfortunately the "gym room" was out of order. Easy to get to Canadian Tire center. The Mandarin restaurent if just down the street as well as a Food basic. All in all will look at staying here again next outing.

It was overall good. We staydd at this hotel based on the general distance to the hockey arena for my son's hickey tournament. There are restaurants and other ammenities less than 10 mins away with a gorcerystore and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. It had a fairly decent complimentary breakfast. The only negative points are no pool and no elevator.

We visited 6 rooms with a staff. We ended up taking a room that just had food on the floor. The standards in the hotel should be alot higher by the cleaning staff . Breakfast was not good and fruits were rotten.

The room itself was adequate. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were soft. The bathroom was a different thing all together. Not only were there hairs all over the floor, indictating to us that the floor hadnt been swept OR mopped there were hairs all over the shower. Including pubic hair on the shampoo dispenser. I clean houses for a living and i would never leave a clients house like that and expect to be paid. I am not a compainer and did not bring this up to thd front desk, but they sent me a review request so im saying it now. I paid over $200 for a room that had hair all over the bathroom, i now wish i had taken a picture

When we checked in it was apparent that the sheets were not cleaned. I found hairs and cotton matterial from clothes when i pulled back the sheets tobgo to sleep. As well, the duvet had stains. I spoke to the reception, they were able to give me a new set of sheets but i had to change the sheets myself. I was able to ask the next day from a cleaner for a new duvet. I will say their staff were very good to deal with and handled the situation well and discounted the room due to this but, it was not a pleasant experience as i kept thinking what was actually clean.

Great, welcoming staff. The walls are paper thin and you could hear everything from the rooms next to us, so much so that WE had a noise complaint called on us for having a regular family conversation in our room at 10pm. We felt it best to whisper the rest of our stay!

Our room was ready when we arrived and was very clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Room was a little warm when we arrived no fault to the staff or air conditioning unit outside temps were hitting the hi 20's for the 1st weekend in October. Didnt take long to cool off our room once we put the air on

The hotel was clean. Room was well appointed with sofa, desk, and a very comfortable. King size bed. The breakfast was good, not outstanding but everyone should find some things they like. Down size is the stay is parking. If your room is on the second floor you have to park in the outer parking lots. Ground floor rooms have parking in front of room.

Was close distance to Canadian Tire Centre. Very convenient from that perspective. Room was on par for what you'd expect for a Comfort Inn and bed was good. However, it was Friday night so very busy between concert at CT Centre and hockey tournament families rolling in. Was also very noisy with people in the halls socializing until 1am until things finally quieted down. Walls also very thin as far as noise from adjacent rooms.

The room was clean and fairly new. The bathroom was well appointed with a nice clean and deep tub. The bed was fairly comfortable but felt worn. There was a mini fridge and microwave. Window looked over a parking lot, so not the best views. Free breakfast had plenty of options. No elevator which was strange. The quality of the cable tv was terrible and made it almost unwatchable, something I expectas a basic in any hotel.

It was a very hot and humid weekend and unfortunately the air conditioner in our room was not working. We called down to the front desk to have someone come look at the unit as maybe we were not setting it properly. Faith from the front desk came and was not able to get it working. She tried to move us rooms but there was none available. She managed to track down a fan for us and offered us a discount for the room. The fan was perfect and made our stay comfortable in the heat. I would like to commend Faith for being so friendly and going out of her way for us to ensure my daughter and myself had an enjoyable stay. She absolutely is a gem and she definitely saved the day and our weekend. We will for sure be back to stay on our next visit to Ottawa

I have stayed at this property a few times before and had zero issues, this time things were a little different. While getting ready in bathroom to go out for the evening I could hear the door to my room open, I looked out and saw a person in my room. They quickly left. I went down to the front desk to bring it to their attention and the manager said “ oh yeah that was housekeeping.” No apology - added that they were not sure if the room cleaning at been completed and came in to check !

We rented 2 rooms , got our keys went to one room then when we visited our second they had rented in out to someone else, we had brought in that room before hand and the new people had started drinking our beverages, they finally got us a new room but took them a while to sorte out all the confusion

Convenient refurbed hotel in Western Ottawa suburb just off the 417 highway. Lots of parking and walking distance to grocery store and a restaurant called "Tommys" - great food. Friendly staff at reception. Rooms have been fixed up with comfy beds and pillows. Breakfast was very good with fresh product. Bathrooms were fine but watch for slippery tub bottom. No grab bar for entrance /exit. Towels fluffy and clean. Would use this as a base for longer visits to Ottawa.

Comfortable enough for an overnight stay and an early morning exam at the Prometric testing centre on March Road. There is a decent restaurant next door called Tommy's and a Food Basics just up the road.
