One thing other guests should know is that the kitchen and bathroom are SHARED with other guests. This wasn't a problem for me but it was definitely a surprise. There is also no breakfast, so don't get fooled by the second B in the name. This place is affordable, and was perfect for my needs as a quiet place to escape to, though definitely resembles a hostel more than a B&B.

Not having stayed at a BNB with strangers before, this was different. The back stairs to my room were challenging with a suitcase (narrow and no handrails). The sounds, noise and smells were very distracting and unwelcomed. I suppose that’s to be expected when you share with a family. The room itself was comfortable.

Rooms are small. The extra bed mattress isn't comfortable. House is clean. No outside footwear allowed inside. They have kitchen to cook. The backyard is pretty. The garden is well maintained.

Super super thin walls. Squeaky beds. Squeaky floors. 1 shared bath. Kitchen not stocked with any paper towels, bathroom had no tissue/kleenex either. No hand towels. We were told the door would be unlocked upon our arrival, but it was locked. Rang doorbell 3 times, no answer, had to call the phone number and someone came down that we had just woken up to let us in. Just felt odd having to tip-toe around and be dead-silent. We could hear EVERYTHING, other people snoring, getting up to use the bathroom, etc. It was way too intimate for our liking. Property and backyard was beautiful, nice house, but, just not to our liking for a place to stay.

The host was very helpful. For my November 24-26 stay, I was moved to a larger room. Very enjoyable and clean. The only drawback was receiving an incoming call from a friend around 8:30 am one morning (even though it was outside of the no-noise period between 1 pm and 8:00 am). I was speaking at a normal volume, but the sound in my room carries too much. The neighbour asked me politely to stop, so I did and I had to walk outside to continue with my phone call. Amenities about a five minute drive away. Very quiet area, plenty of vehicle parking in the driveway. Crescent Beach is about a 5-10 minute drive, so this location is additionally great in the spring/summer.

It was not like that we expected, firstly its not a hotel it’s a house. Secondly you have to share washroom with other persons.Kitchen was so dirty & there was so much noice from people living in next room.You get 1 small towel no other amenities, First night we stayed in one room then next day owner asked us to change room. That thing was very terrible we have to move our all stuff in another room

My stay was for only one night, as I was driving to Seattle the following day. A very nice home with very welcoming hosts. The accommodations were very spacious and comfortable. The residential area is very quiet. The price was also great. Parking was no problem on the driveway.

The property itself is very beautiful and clean. I'm very much impressed when we were led to the upstairs and saw hiw simple but neat it was. One tiny problem was their guests whose room we were to occupy haven't left yet by the time of our check in. But the hostess let us use the other room while waiting so everything was good.

I have travelled extensively, and on occassion stayed at Bed & Breakfasts. Ocean Park was like a dorm. Bathroom down the hall. Address confusing, GPS could not locate it. Cross street needs to be referenced. (128 St. & 122). Room was a students. No amenities such as a towel for shower. Had to buy one. No bottle of water or tea or coffee in basic kitchen in common area. Bedding smelled of Body odour. Put towel on bed. Over priced for a hostel experience. This is not a B&B, but is student housing. Family residence, bathroom, bedroom cupboard, full of personal items. WiFi, would not connect, so had to use Data for emails. Host was pleasant. Fine for students at lower costs.

Strongly recommend to stay. Easy driving to the ocean side and restaurants area. But it is located in a quiet and nice neighborhood area. Friendly hoster. Clean and comfortable space.

Bathroom did not have mat on the floor. It got very slippery after shower. Air conditioning was not working. It was very hot so we had to open windows and use fan. Wifi was not good enough. During check out we knocked on the door they didn’t reply.

Since people share the bathroom - it was noisy till 1AM. It was listed airconditioned - but there is only a fan in the room. Comparison to how many units they have….one bathroom is not sufficient.

This was for a one-night stay (November 23). Comfortable bed, great temperature. The occupants next to me woke me up at 2:30 am (occupying the kitchen outside, and could hear their loud conversations within their room throughout the entire early morning). I informed the host, who mentioned he informed them of this. Because I am scheduled to stay an additional three days, he relocated me to another room, so he solved this issue for me. The bathroom needs some minor maintenance work for the shower water shutoff, and the room's doorknob was loose (the host was aware of the loose door know, but will inform him of the shower). I would still recommend this location to others, based on the location (quiet residential neighborhood, amenities 5-10 minute drive away, and the host's service quality).

Beim Check-in hatte man nicht das Gefühl, dass die Gastgeber überhaupt wussten das wir gebucht haben. Ein Klingeln an der Tür hat nichts gebracht, erst nach dem Klopfen am Fenster wurden wir empfangen.

This was for a one-night stay (November 23). Comfortable bed, great temperature. The occupants next to me woke me up at 2:30 am (occupying the kitchen outside, and could hear their loud conversations within their room throughout the entire early morning). I informed the host, who mentioned he informed them of this. Because I am scheduled to stay an additional three days, he relocated me to another room, so he solved this issue for me. The bathroom needs some minor maintenance work for the shower water shutoff, and the room's doorknob was loose (the host was aware of the loose door know, but will inform him of the shower). I would still recommend this location to others, based on the location (quiet residential neighborhood, amenities 5-10 minute drive away, and the host's service quality).

The host was very polite, explained everything in detail, showed the room and facilities The bed was very comfortable, shower was hot with plenty of pressure It was great to be able to park on site instead of the road Good value!

The host was very helpful. For my November 24-26 stay, I was moved to a larger room. Very enjoyable and clean. The only drawback was receiving an incoming call from a friend around 8:30 am one morning (even though it was outside of the no-noise period between 1 pm and 8:00 am). I was speaking at a normal volume, but the sound in my room carries too much. The neighbour asked me politely to stop, so I did and I had to walk outside to continue with my phone call. Amenities about a five minute drive away. Very quiet area, plenty of vehicle parking in the driveway. Crescent Beach is about a 5-10 minute drive, so this location is additionally great in the spring/summer.

Strongly recommend to stay. Easy driving to the ocean side and restaurants area. But it is located in a quiet and nice neighborhood area. Friendly hoster. Clean and comfortable space.

My stay was for only one night, as I was driving to Seattle the following day. A very nice home with very welcoming hosts. The accommodations were very spacious and comfortable. The residential area is very quiet. The price was also great. Parking was no problem on the driveway.

I thought B&B meant Bed and Breakfast but this place was just the house of someone renting his rooms. We didn’t get any towels, coffee or anything.

One thing other guests should know is that the kitchen and bathroom are SHARED with other guests. This wasn't a problem for me but it was definitely a surprise. There is also no breakfast, so don't get fooled by the second B in the name. This place is affordable, and was perfect for my needs as a quiet place to escape to, though definitely resembles a hostel more than a B&B.

I have travelled extensively, and on occassion stayed at Bed & Breakfasts. Ocean Park was like a dorm. Bathroom down the hall. Address confusing, GPS could not locate it. Cross street needs to be referenced. (128 St. & 122). Room was a students. No amenities such as a towel for shower. Had to buy one. No bottle of water or tea or coffee in basic kitchen in common area. Bedding smelled of Body odour. Put towel on bed. Over priced for a hostel experience. This is not a B&B, but is student housing. Family residence, bathroom, bedroom cupboard, full of personal items. WiFi, would not connect, so had to use Data for emails. Host was pleasant. Fine for students at lower costs.

The title of the place is BNB this is a private home renting rooms and there is no breakfast or even coffee. We needed an additional bed which was very uncomfortable.

The place and host themselves were AMAZING!! Lovely place! My only problem was that me and my partner had to wait two hours one night to use the bathroom. Because other guests were un mindful and fell asleep in the bathroom and me potentially been doing other things. That was on one night we knocked multiple times and politely spoke up because it was late at night. It took us an hour to get a response out of somebody out of the bathroom… and we had to do that for three nights every time we wanted to use the bathroom… Thats not on the hotel itself at all! But the other guests made doing shared accommodations, miserable

You get what you pay for. This room was okay for the price, & the house is close to Ocean Park, Crescent Park, Crescent Beach, & White Rock. Maintenance is somewhat poor, & towels are thin & small. No air conditioning means windows are always open. Nobody uses the promised BBQ, & there are appliances & other junk outside.

The cancellation window was only 3 hours from booking. We arrived 20 minutes before the end of the check in time. We still had to wait for the host to make the bed. The blanket my kids used “leeched heat from [her] body”. The mattress on the couch bed was a “trampoline squish with wires running through it”. The real bed felt like it was a piece of plywood with a mattress topper on it. The pillows had no fluff and there was 1 per person. There was no fluff to the towels that weren’t even big enough to hold my hair. The fire sprinklers looked like they were an afterthought and put in unfinished holes in the ceiling. The bathroom ceiling has unfixed water damage. Not sure if there was breakfast. We left at 9:30, and there was somebody cooking something in the kitchen, but didn’t look like there was food for us.
