Right off the first/last Maine I-95 exit within walking distance of outlet shopping and dining options this Hampton Inn proved the perfect stop for us. Very clean with friendly staff, updated rooms, pool, and fitness amenities, it provided all we needed for our one-night stay.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was very good. My family used both the pool and the fitness center, which were very well maintained. What I especially appreciated was that they accepted dogs in the room. We only saw one other family with a dog though. Centrally located to many scenic and historical sites, and right next to the outlets (if that's of interest).

The rooms were clean. The beds are very comfortable and for the most part if you don’t have a dog next-door to you, it’s pretty quiet. There was a dog next to us and he kept barking every time his owner left or came back, but we got used to it. The worst thing was the breakfast. There was never enough food. The variety was horrible and theywere ill prepared. If they ran out of something, they didn’t bother to have a replacement.We would have loved to use the pool, but the water was not warm. It was cool and the outside air around the pool was very cold. there were people in the pool area watching their children and they had jackets on. I did not feel I wanted my grandchildren in a pool that was that cool and I would have to be cold watching them other than that I do like Hampton Inn and suites. They’ve always been a good place to stay

Our room was not ready at stated check in time. Manager on duty could of cared less. Also the hallways and room were overpowering with cleaning fluid smell. General cleanliness could be better.

Not sure why previous reviewers thought property was new. Remodeled but why put in carpet if hotel is pet friendly? Room smelled like wet dog and we are dog people. Dog in nearby room barked off and on for quite some time. Will pay better attention to request non pet friendly room in future. Seemed dirty

The pillowcase had makeup on it, the linens were obviously not changed, I slept on the top sheet as I found this late in the evening and did not want to have my room made up or moved. The shower Curtin was loose and needs to be tightened. I addressed these in the morning with the front desk, I was told thank you for the information and have a nice day. Not impressed with the reply.

We were suppose to stay a few nights, but the stench in the room was so bad! We thought it would dissipate, but smelled like wet dog smell, made it hard to sleep! I told the guy at the desk, and he asured me the carpets are washed after every stay! Maybe allow dogs in designated rooms? Allergies were so bad, and kept waking up to that awful smell!

The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful to an extent at least they had TP because our room didn’t! The room was “Pet Friendly” which I didn’t request or was informed of. Nothing against pets, but we didn’t have a pet with us. So, the room had an odor! Also, the room had a shower that leaked no matter how you had the doors situated, so there was always water on the floor and It also had mold in a few spots. Now to the breakfast which was complementary and ok, my wife survived but unfortunately I didn’t, food poisoning! This really put a damper on our trip! Look for another place. Nothing special about the dump!

I will definitely stay here again, everything was great. Breakfast had lots of options and was very good. My only complaint is our window howled in the wind all night long, I told them when checking out and she said they would definitely look into it and she apologized.

This property is our go-to to split the difference when traveling long distance. Always clean, friendly staff and close to a good meal. Ask for a room at the front of the property to avoid heavy road traffic noise from 95 if you’re a light sleeper. Lots of commuters make for 5 - 6 AM door slams.

Everything was good. My husband and I stayed in room 416 at the Kitterry, Maine location. One minor thing, the shower head was not set properly. I had to use the hand held shower. I had to figure out how to tighten the shower holder because it kept bowing down and the hand held shower kept falling off. I took me awhile but I figured it out. My husband also figured out how to fix the stationary shower head

Nice new hotel very clean. If you are a light sleeper as I am make sure to stay in the even numbered rooms. The odd numbered rooms face the Maine turnpike and with a good arm you could hit the highway.

It was terrible my daughter son in law and 4 grand children were locked out of there room when we got back from dinner. No one at hotel to fix the problem said it was with the key machine Had to hang in my room and the lobby for over 2 hours for a maintenance worker to show up and still has not shown up

The property was nice. Hilton's computer service was down and we were unable to check in at 3:00. I understand internet/computer problems but the front desk had no knowledge of how long the computers were going to be down or how to get customers checked into their rooms. There needs to be a back up plan. We left for 2 hours came back and were finally able to get in the room but it put a damper on the stay. We were not offered anything for the inconvenience.

When we checked in there was a very strong smell in the room. The pull out couch linens were dirty. They had no room to move us too so we couldn’t sleep in the room. Also, when I tried to remove my second night stay. The AGM April was very rude and would not do it. She had no sympathy and neither did the front desk person. So very disappointed.

Tried to check in at 1:00, but was told the room wouldn't he ready until 3:00. Cam back at 3:10 and was told the room still was not ready. After about 15 minutes our room was ready. No staff member felt there was a need for concern. I thought they should have been more considerate of the reservation that was made. Room was average, bathroom and shower were great. Nothing out of the ordinary to speak of. Also for some reason the elevators had a strange smell, not a good smell honestly.

The hotel was right next door to the Kittery Maine Trading Post and outlets. It was very nice. The rooms were a great size, clean and up to date. The bed was a little firm for my taste, but other than that, no complaints what so ever. We were able to drive 5-10 minutes to eat at a restaurant in a quaint little downtown(ish) area near a navy port and then another 5-10 minutes into Portsmouth, NH for ice cream downtown. It was lively and fun! Most importantly, the ice cream was excellent! ; )

The hotel is a recent build and is clean and modern. Staff is friendly and helpful. Has all the amenities; pool, gym, business center, continental breakfast. This will be my new “must stay” when visiting family in Maine. One traveler’s tip: It can be tough to turn north (left) out of the hotel driveway onto Route 1 during busy traffic. Avoid this by driving into the attached parking lot of the Kittery Outlets and exit to Route 1 by their driveway which has a traffic light.

Beautiful and clean. Very convenient to all the shops and restaurants. It is fine that the convenience makes it close to the expressway too. Only problem is that the driveway is like a rough dirt road and the sign is high and behind a tree. It doesn't look like the entry of a high-class hotel.

Everything about this property was excellent. The staff was great, the room was perfect, the grounds were very nice. The only two complaints were that a bigger sign is needed by the road, as the building is a little hard to find, and the drive has some big holes in it. The inn is right next to the exit from I-95, so very convenient. There is lots of outlet shopping next door and down the road. Restaurants are all along the street the inn is on.

Friendly staff. Coming on the road from the south, we missed it. It is not visible from the road and there were no visible signs. Coming from the north and traveling south, we saw it. Breakfast was okay but not the best. We missed having cookies upon our arrival. The bed was lumpy and I woke up with a sore hip.

Stayed here for Black Friday shopping and it was a wonder experience. We could walk to all the outlets right from the hotel. It came with a free continental breakfast. The hotel was new, clean and staff courteous and attentive. My daughter Forgit her toothbrush and they gave her a new one complimentary! That right there put it over the top with those little extras.

Stayed 1 night at the Hampton in Kittery, ME. Check in was quick with no issues. Room was clean. No complaints about cleanliness. Beds were just the right firmness and pillows were soft. Breakfast in the morning consisted of potatoes, yogurt, pre-made omelets, sausage patties, cereal, breads, fruit, and make your own waffles. Everything was good. One of the better complimentary breakfasts we've experienced. The only thing we experienced was the room next to us was occupied and the door closing was loud, multiple times in the middle of the night...not the hotels fault. We would stay there again, withour hesitation.

The staff at checkin was not friendly at all. The ladies there were extremely rude with the exception the checkout lady (Ashley) had great customer service and was extremely helpful and polite. Furthermore, why is breakfast over at 9am that’s ridiculous

Beds were hard, felt like I was sleeping on cement block. Breakfast was terrible. Have no idea what the yellowish gray mystery meat was. Walls very thin, could hear the guests next door going to the bathroom.
