The Hampton Inn Towson fit our needs perfectly. Check-in only took a minute or two. Top floor, corner room was very clean, nicely decorated & large with a walk-in shower. Plenty of elevators that are fast. Very clean property with a great, friendly staff. Very welcoming from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend valet parking as it took all the stress off us as parking in front of the hotel is VERY limited and can get pretty congested at during arrival and departure times. Limited street parking, and parking garage is about a block away. Valet staff were all very friendly & very efficient. Well worth the extra $. The breakfast buffet was well stocked & had a lot of variety (with some gluten friendly options) which I appreciated. Plenty of seating/tables inside & out. The Whole Foods grocery store is conveniently located just feet away from the hotel. We attended the wedding ceremony of our son & his fiance at the Towson Courthouse. It was only a 9 min walk from the hotel at a leisurely pace. I would definitely stay at this Hampton Inn location again if needed in the future.

The Hampton Inn in Towson is exceptional for so many reasons. It’s super close to downtown Baltimore. I’d say about 10 miles so it’s not too long of a drive but you don’t have to be in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. The hotel is located in a prime spot for eating and shopping locations all within walking distance. A Whole Foods is literally the building across from the hotel if your stay is going to be extended. The rooms were next level upgraded. Extremely clean and great views! Downstairs breakfast area is massive, plenty of seating and tons of eating options. It had the biggest weight room I’ve ever seen at a hotel. The only disappointment was the pool. It’s usually the way I like to relax after a long hot day but the water was very murky leaving me less than eager to enter. The staff were extremely nice and accommodating. My only regret is not being able to stay longer. We only live 3 hours away but if we’re back this way again, this will be the place to stay.

I stay here a few times a month for work and was very disappointed to learn the parking is now in a garage down the street, no more valet. As a woman traveling alone I do not feel safe making that walk alone at night. Unfortunately, I will need to find another hotel in the area for this reason.

Overall property and room is clean and safe. 2 things that attracted me to the hotel were not working. The outside firepit did not work. They came once to look on it and did not work for my stay of 3 days and 2 nights. They also had to close the pool after I reported that the pool was green and cloudy. The reopened the pool after closing it for the rest of the night of my report and the next day. The pool was more blue and cloudy, so I didn’t feel safe using it.

My stay was great! Location was ideal, a short walk or drive to everything you need: mall, restaurants, local trending hot spots, Best Maryland crabs, and centrally Washington DC! Kids loved the fact that the pool was open until 10:00. I would definitely recommend!

My room was clean and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was ample. I was very impressed with the size of the gym and the amount of equipment in it. Only issue I had was that the mini fridge was so cold, it froze my almond milk. It could have been on a really cold setting...not sure?

The hotel was extremely clean. Friendly staff. Very nice breakfast options each morning. The only complaint was the parking situation. The parking garage was up the street that was on a slight hill. Cost was $20 a day. If you chose to valet, it was $30 a day! Hotels.com lists “parking available” and never mentions the additional cost to customers. Very disappointed that it cost us another $120 for our stay because my husband is still recovering from knee surgery and it was very inconvenient for me to walk the hill every day to get our car.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and have never been disappointed. The rooms are always spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The service is very friendly and thorough. I have to travel to this part of Maryland somewhat regularly and there is no question that I will book a stay here. I recommend it.

Everything about my stay was amazing. The staff is accommodating and very pleasant. From concierge to continous hot coffee, every detail is considered to provide the best customer experience. It was a truly busy weekend because of graduations, but service and cleanliness was not compromised. I will never stay anywhere else when I'm visiting the area.

This is a spotlessly clean hotel with comfortable rooms and excellent service. The only inconvenience is that the parking is a block away, but they do have a friendly valet team. Other than that this is a really nice place to stay. I have been here at least four times and have never had a problem. The staff is so pleasant and does everything they can to make sure you are comfortable. I have to travel to this area often and I don’t even bother to look for anyplace else to stay. This place has everything for a very comfortable stay.

Room 226 window view is terrible and noisy. too many utilities right out the window. Noisy, it rained and water puddled. The barn door for the bathroom was pretty but very unsafe the handle kept pinching our fingers badly this is a hazard. I checked closely and saw that it might have been moved from one spot to another patched wholes where visible. The hotel can get a lawsuit if the door brakes someone’s finger.

The shower in Room 525 does not stay closed, but other than that the room was nice. The breakfast was also good. Eggs, bacon/sausage, bagels, oatmeal, bagels, etc. Loved the area! Towson University is right there, so there are a lot of young adults, but there’s are also tons of restaurants and the mall. I’ll definitely be returning… just making sure I don’t get room 525. :-)

Second time we stayed here, we appreciate the amenities and good service. The parking and access to the front of the hotel is miserable. Our 2nd floor room faced the front of Whole Foods, from 9pm-midnight, the store power washed store floors with a diesel motor running. Suggest a room on the opposite side or higher up.

I have to travel to Towson frequently and I make this hotel my “go to” place to stay. It is ALWAYS absolutely clean, which is my top priority. The staff is ALWAYS extremely help ful and friendly. (They even remember me within visits.) I highly recommend it.

I stayed for two nights and was disappointed the room did not get cleaned for my second night. I had to put trash and used towels in the hallway when I returned after the first day. Hotel was nice but I would not have stayed if I had known in advance the room would not be cleaned for my second night.

From check-in to check-out, this was an excellent stay. Everyone from the front desk to the porters were friendly and helpful. The facility is impeccably clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet is varied and excellent. The area is very nice, walkable and there's shopping and restaurants in the neighborhood. Police HQ and Fire and EMS are right there as well. I will definitely stay here again.

Had to speak with 6 different people who couldn't seem to understand that I came in a day early. My room was never cleaned from Wed-Sat even though I went to the front and specifically asked for it to be cleaned. Would never stay there again.

Bright and clean fairly new hotel. Front desk staff was very courteous with check in/ out and parking validation. Breakfast ok, but eggs could have been warmer. Have to call out the elevators though - the fastest moving elevators I've ever been on!

Great room. It had all the amenities we needed. The bed was comfortable, the shower worked well, the bathroom spacious and well-arranged. Very clean. The breakfast was generates there were plenty of places to sit. The parking was a bit pricey but worth it and easy to use. Will stay again in a heartbeat!
