Booked this hotel so that I could use the pool was disappointing to find out the pool was closed during stay. Hotels should have to let guests know when amenities that they advertise having are not available.

The staff was great. Very friendly and accommodating. I was upset, however, that the pool was not functioning and we were not told about it before booking. That was the main reason that I chose this hotel and once it's booked, there are no refunds.

Start to finish - not a great experience. Issues with the room, they said they were refunding the first night - never did. The room had a broken hair dryer and no body wash. The refrigerator had the previous guest’s food in it. Ordered a beer at the bar and the bottle was only 2/3 full…I looked at it funny and he asked “what? It’s not full enough for you?” Actually it struck me as odd it wasn’t full - I was more worried something was wrong with it. He then asked “do you want a full one?” Yes, that would be nice. He was holding a personal conversation through his AirPods the entire time. Then another guest asked him for a menu, he seemed annoyed, told the person in his ear “hold on” handed it to the guest and never acknowledged the guest. She seemed confused at the lack of hospitality - he walked over and she said she was going to order and he said “you better hurry they are closing” and then went back to his phone conversation. The gal finally left. There was a complete lack of hospitality. Very surprising for a Marriott property. I’ve always had great experiences but if you are going to Elkhart - skip this one

Very basic hotel, but carpet was dirty, strange hooks all over the room for missing art, cheap headboards and SO noisy. So much less than I’d ever expect from a Sheraton property.

This was possibly the worst checkin in memory. I paid for a king room and was told when I checked in that there were no more king rooms available - as they scratched out our original room number on the key cards and wrote another in. So obviously someone else got our room. The elevator had something sticky all over the floor and rather than cleaning it a caution sign was placed in the floor. When we got to our room the key cards didn’t work. I went down to the desk and could not get a new card. I was escorted to my room which was opened with a master key fob and told someone would be by in the morning to fix it. I asked if someone needed to stay in the room, since we had no working key cards, and was told yes. Someone would need to stay in the room to get back in. We paid for breakfast and I’m not sure how that will happen - unless we go one at a time. Unacceptable.

We stayed one night. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was clean which is most important. The only thing was that our pillows were so flat, it was like sleeping on a piece of cloth. Other than that, we had no issues.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. We had the room with the pull out couch. Nice size for a family. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast restaurant was decent for a sit down extra charge. Pillows on beds could have been way better. Overall we will stay here again!

Very clean, staff was always friendly and accommodating, rooms are spacious and comfortable. If I had to make any criticism, it would be that the mattress on the pullout bed is pretty uncomfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The only reason I’m giving a 4 instead of a 5 is because the pillows were so flat on both our beds. I’m not that picky but these pillows were like not even having a pillow. I was also disappointed there was no full length mirror in the room. Other than that it was very nice.

When we went to our room, the door was ajar. We entered and found the door jam was broken and we couldn't shut the door. I went to the front desk to inform them, and the individual didn't say anything to me, seemed irritated, and took five minutes to assign us another room--finally handed over the keys without a word.

Room was prepaid on aug 16 via expedia., upon departure on oct 15, card was charged again. Front desk clerks advised will speak witn the manager Adrian to correct. Subsequent tel with mgr Adrian, he was to resolve. Days later still no credit for the erroneous charge. Absurd. Had booked 2 stays back in August. Oct 14to15, and rtn trip October 20 to 21. The oct 14 to 15 is the issue.

Have stayed here 3 or 4x now every time we visit in Elkhart. Hotel is always clean & tidy. Staff is friendly & knowledgable. Perfect central location near lots of shopping, eating out & gas stations.

The rooms were nice even though we were missing the USB charging station (which the manager brought right up). Also had a problem with the bathtub backing up and even after maintenance "fixed" it it still did the same thing and AGAIN the manager came up and fixed it himself. He's the kind of guy that takes action when needed and very pleasant (just wish I could remember his name 😞). Other than that the only thing wanky was the way you had to get to the hotel which was by driving through another hotel's parking lot.

Great staff clean property. The snow and ice were plowed but was still not plowed down the the pavement. They had a big storm but still should have been done better. The breakfast was not good! I will leave it at that rather than get into the details here. I will say that whoever cooked it should not be cooking. Seriously. The previous stay the meal was cooked as expected.

WHEN I TOLD THE FRONT DESK PERSON IT WAS A BUSINESS CREDIT CARD THEY SAID OH GOOD I CAN GET A TIP THEN. THE BARTENDERS HAD NO IDEA WHAT THEY WERE DOING THEY COMPED A COUPLE DRINKS BUT THEY SHOULD HAVE ONE PERSON THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING WITH A TRAINEE AFTER A LONG TRAVEL AND DAYS AT WORK ITS NICE TO COME BACK TO THE HOTEL AND RELAX WITH A DRINK
