Stardust Motel

Einfaches Motel mit tollem Badezimmer. Netter Empfang. Sauber und ordentlich, mit Kühlschrank und Kaffee.

No hot water, no safety locks on door (chain or deadbolt), steep stairs with short railing, nowhere close to town of Duncannon, large bottle of Dollar tree shampoo in tub, no condiments for coffee, area behind office desk looked like hoarders. First floor for people living there (section 8?).They would talk to my daughter as she passed. Not for the faint of heart.

This is a great little place to stay. The rooms are clean and the staff is super nice and helpful.

A super mixed experience. My car broke down and I needed a cheap place to sleep nearby, and indeed it was nearby, and it was cheap. First the good. I had no trouble at all with the staff. The Wi-Fi was also excellent, and I had a good desk to set up my laptop. The bed was a tad threadbare but otherwise comfortable. For the bad, I can think of four things. First, someone left their clothes under the sink. Second, there was a heavy sulfur smell in the hot water and the shower water ran black when I tried turning it on. Third, there were some insects, not an infestation, just forest animals that wandered in, namely a stink bug, a spider, and two dead crickets. Fourth, the window was cracked and just taped, and needed a full replacement. In short, can't beat the location if you break down in the middle of nowhere, or WANT to be in the middle of nowhere. There's also a lovely little diner right down the road. Can't beat the price either. But I skipped a shower, figuring I would be dirtier after taking one than I was before getting in.

Very outdated. Needs updated. Did not really feel safe in the area. Probably would not stay here again.
