The transport links were very good, and the local area was beautiful, much nicer than the city. Our room had a lovely big window and was light and airy, a comfortable bed and decent shower. I would recommend that if you struggle with stairs avoid rooms 8 and 9, the stairs to our room were very steep.

We couldn't have been more pleased with everything about our accommodations and the owners. Everything was perfect and they both were extremely helpful in every way.

We were in room 8 which is approached via a steep and narrow staircase. Good location for the windmills and free street car parking. No other facilities.

Lovely quiet place to stay not far from Amsterdam, and an appealing little area surrounding. The area literally smells like chocolate due to the factory! Short 5 minute walk and you’re at the windmills of Zaanse Schans and various educational places regarding the areas history. Really lovely rooms, the patio was lovely to have access too! Only issue was noisy people in a room above, but the staff were quick attend to this, they also offered a room change should we want to, which we didn’t do in the end as didn’t want to make more work for them for one night. Can’t fault the hotel at all honestly, thank you for having us!
