I was disappointed in the quality of the facility compared to the online photos. There was no plug in the bath tub and the toilet "ran" if not flushed a certain way. I found a used coffee packet left in the coffee maker so it was obvious that it hadn\'t been checked. The breakfast was mediocre with a poor selection of food. No swimming pool and the spa advertised was not working. I would not recommend this for families with children.

Hot tub wasn't working. Bathroom was not handicapped friendly. Those were two of my needs I asked for. Only breakfast included was the only thing that was provided that it said it had.

Friendly front desk staff. Room was basically clean, but two long black hairs stuck to shower/tub wall, toilet had not been recently scrubbed. Dried up, used coffee packet still in coffee maker. Elevator out of order on check out morning. Breakfast was good. Bed was super comfortable.

This was the worst stay in a hotel, my entire life. At approximately 4 am another hotel guest walked into our room, with a key. Seems the hotel double booked the room. Then they stood outside our room shouting. About 4:30 am another guest walked into our room. About 4:45 am the front desk called us and asked who we were. In the morning the hotel locked us out of our room. Claiming that the mistakes during the night caused this. Initially the hotel blamed their mistake on us for changing nights, we did not. The hotel did let us cancel our remaining stay and refunded most of the funds for this. However, this was our responsibility to contact Hotel.com to arrange this. We got no credit refunded for the one night we stayed. This experience was terrifying. Out thoughts were that our safety was at risk. The lock on the inside of the door was broken. Lastly, the hotel advertises a hot tube and pool. These are not functioning and available to guests.

The gentleman checking us in was very nice, but they were super busy so we had to wait awhile to check in. The room and bathroom were overall nice and we had a good nights rest. But we could hear the neighbors talking through the walls, the elevator was broken and the breakfast was pretty poor.

The first room I was put in the lights wouldn’t turn on. So I was moved to another room. When I arrived it smelled like mildew. And there was hair all over the blanket on the bed. I didn’t bother asking for another room. I went to my event, then checked out.

By far the worst stay in all my bookings. After our first room has mold and was filthy I attempted to cancel and get my money back, but the owner wouldn’t allow it. Moved rooms that had more mold, ripped tile, peeling base boards, filthy chairs, spots on the bedding, shower had a chunk of hair at the top of the shower, bugs flew out of the sink when turning on the water and a chunk of the wall was ripped under the sink. I attempted to cancel my second night and was told I am not allowed a refund because the owner said no. I would never recommend this place and honestly, hotels.com should remove it from supporting them.

Filthy. Stains on every conceivable surface. The blankets were CRUNCHY in spots. Someone left rotting food on the stairs, where it remained for 2 days before someone cleaned up some of it.

It’s really dirty. We couldn’t sleep whole night. Housekeeping didn’t clean the room, sink was in the room and it was dripping. When I asked for a new bed cover and blankets, front desk guy gave me a new set, but those were also dirty. During the night there was noise from different rooms. Dinning area was also very dirty couldn’t eat the breakfast. Overall I don’t recommend anyone to go to this property.

Front desk staff ready to check in, room missing tv remote control, underneath the bed was super dusty and dirty. I could hear the neighbors making love which was very disgusting as i really needed to rest after a day of work and i had drive 5 hrs. This was my 4th time staying here. Breakfast was excellent.

We always stay at the Bellis Inn when we are in Bellingham. The desk people are always helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There really isn’t much of a breakfast though The price is right and a good location.

Was very disappointed on our stay. It was only for a night, however, when we got to our room it smelled like stale smoke mixed with damp carpets. Very unpleasant. We could hear the people above us and beside us clearly. In the morning, when the people above had a shower, the noise radiated down to our room waking everyone up. Not soundproof whatsoever. Not work the price we paid.

Rooms were run down, chips and holes in the paint on the walls. Mattress and bed were broken and uncomfortable. walls were very thin. Could hear the person snoring in the room next to us.

After returning home from our trip, we were called by the hotel telling us they are unable to return our deposit to our credit card due to our card malfunctioning. After two weeks of no deposit being returned, we drove to the hotel to get the money in person. Even in person, we were refused our deposit by the front desk citing he didn't have the authority to give us our deposit and that he doesn't know how to call for management to assist us. Complete failure to have a manager available or anyone with any authority at all in early afternoon hours on a weekday is unacceptable. This could have been solved with a simple call to management verifying that we are to get our deposit returned. Instead, the front desk showed us zero respect.

There were about two people in line in front of me checking in. The check-in process was very very slow. It took about 25 minutes with two people in front of me in about 10 minutes with my check in it shouldn’t be that hard.

This is a decent place w/ a decent price. Next door to a sports bar grill and dental offices, this hotel is close to the mall without getting the foot traffic that usually comes with that. A little traffic noise but not much, for having a sports bar next door its surprisingly calm. Amenities were clean and everything worked.

The Bellis Fair mall was very close we enjoyed the shopping. A very quiet place with very pleasant and comfortable rooms. We were happy that we had satellite TV with close captions including many channels. A/C and heating made our stay very comfortable. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Not bad for the price. Not the greatest of areas, open your blinds and you see the cars and people walking by. Was close to the highway which was good but I wouldn't walk around the area at night. Need modernization, like the AC that just goes endlessly (and noisy) until you wake up like you're in a refer.

Everything was pretty good, it is what you pay for. Was like 84$ a night. Breakfast was mid at best. The “egg’s and sausage” was in fact just boiled eggs and hotdogs. If you’re looking for breakfast go elsewhere. Everything else was decent, the coffee pot was in the bathroom which was odd. If you don’t mind the breakfast this hotel will work just fine. The slo pitch right next door has excellent breakfast so there’s no worries. The staff was extremely friendly!

This was the starting point and end point of our road trip across Canada and the Northern States of America, and we were very pleased with the quality on offer. In fact it set the standard for all the others we stayed at during our trip and came out on top. The others all fell short on either comfort, quality, cleanliness standards or breakfasts, so I would recommend the Bellis Inn any day. The only very minor downside was the spa was not available, but it wasn't a major concern.

Staff was courteous and polite. Handled everything efficiently. Room was better than average. Shower worked great. Door to room needed repair. Barely closed to allow security lock to engage as intended. Breakfast had to be the worst in any hotel I have ever stayed at. Some sausages and eggs, bread options poor, cereal was okay (can’t mess that up) didn’t choose waffles. America usually takes pride in breakfast offerings. I would recommend discontinuing breakfast unless you can do it right. Property in general could use some love and attention.
