Was really disappointed by this stay. The bed was the hardest hotel bed I have stayed in. When I crawled into bed there was dirt in the sheets.. The hot tub was down for maintenance so we went to use the pool with our daughter (1) it was so cold!! we were only able to stay in for 20 minutes and when we got out she was shivering and chattering her teeth. The family that came in as we were leaving the pool area also had young kids complaining how freezing it was. The mother actually went straight to the bottom of the slide (separate from the pool) and sat in there cause it was warmer while her kids swam. The breakfast in the morning was disappointing. No milk for the cereal, not enough eggs etc. for more than one person and there was a full house at breakfast time. Overall was not satisfied at all with the stay, won't be staying here again. Definitely paid way too much for what we got.

Great stay, only a few minor things, forgot the top comforter on 1 bed and both the water slide and hot tub quit working kinda spoiled it for our grandson. Nothing was seroius will stay again its our choice for Grande Prairie

I would be happy If some amenities are not available once booking is confirmed please let the customer know that it under maintenance. We book specifically to this hotel to have hot tub and pool for kids and upon check in only to find out it is under maintenance until further notice. We ended up staying just to sleep instead of the fun activity we initially planned.

The pool was not working, neither was the hot tub. We didn’t know this until arrival. After some discussion the front clerk said she would refund us for the room and we could book somewhere else. Front clerk lady also charged us for two rooms and wouldn’t refund the one as it wasn’t in her system that we paid for it. I showed her it on my credit card and she told me to call in Monday or Tuesday, given that this was Saturday that’s quite a delay. So, wanted to stay here, ended up having to switch to a different hotel at 8:30 pm after an already very long day. Not going to be returning. And I still have to deal with getting my refund.

Our room had garbage on the floor when we got there, so not sure how good the vacuuming was. The garbage for the bathroom had puke in it and the staff didnt clean it, they just put a new bag in it. Pur kids fell on the ice in the parkjng lot as it wasnt sanded. We always stay there but maybe not next time!

Didn’t offer Wifi simply. Making me fill out a form to sell my private information and get spam just to use it, then wanting to charge ‘extra’ for high speed to stream Netflix. Also NO MICROWAVE. Decent pool and small slide for the kid.

Nice place but extremely loud a/c no sleep for 2 days. Tried Turing a/c off but got way too hot in the room. Spoke to front desk didn’t get any help. All she said was sorry to hear that and she didn’t do anything about it. Not very happy with service

This property was very noisy. The water hammer in the pipes was very loud anytime anyone turned their water on in their rooms which was very distracting. You could hear the people above you and any little noise in the hallway and all doors slamming. For the price of this hotel I would not recommend the stay.

I was above the Gym so I could hear when they would drop the dumbbells constantly! And the walls are paper thin. I could hear the people in the next room laughing and having a conversation. The Shampoo and Body Lotion Bottle was not refilled during mu duration. Housekeeping should be checking these things before a guest checks in. I expected the hotel to also have a better breakfast.

The staff were friendly. The room was clean, although smelling of the cleaning solution used. Breakfast was decent. However, the noise until 2am was absolutely unreal. Running in the halls, stomping above us, banging the walls beside us, yelling in the hallway. We called down to the front desk multiple times (after 11pm) and nothing was done. The next day we were moved to a different room on a different floor. Except the noise was worse. Multiple calls were made to the front desk again. Nothing was done. It was the worst hotel experience we've had Upon speaking to the manager upon checkout, we were offered a bag of chips for our inconveniences. It seemed like we were just being rushed out of that situation and not listened to at all. Extremely disappointing management style.

We received an apologetic phone call hours before we planned to check in. Apparently through a series of misunderstandings, our room had been given to someone else. Because we are a family of six, we always book the suite at the Hampton. Now we were asked if we would take a double queen with a cot. OR, they would put us up in a suite at another hotel. For Free. They took ownership of their mistake and did everything in their power to make it right. They even had gift bags with snacks in our room when we arrived. What could have been a major blunder was rectified with some excellent customer service and a willingness to take a loss. Well done Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Grande Prairie.

The hotel was lovely, staff was kind and helpful they even lent me a lint roller when I forgot my own haha. Check in was easy and very straight forward. The hotel overall was very clean, modern and well decorated. The room we booked was large and the bathroom was enormous in comparison to other hotels I've visited.

Check in was easy and the staff were amazing. They tended to all our needs. Breakfast was great with plenty of variety. The pool area was warm and fun for our grandchildren as we were watching them for the week during our stay. Thank you Ashley for providing the kid's games.
