This is my second stay in a month. Having the view of the ocean after a long drive is so relaxing. Enjoyed a quick swim in the pool upon arriving. The accommodation is clean and having a washing machine and dryer is a big plus.

The property was is a good location and Ok for the price. The bed was hard, toilet was up against teh side wall with limited room, the parking was allocated but not enforced, there were 2 cars parked in bays with damage and no number plates. No check in desk or reception, no milk for tea or coffee and towels and toiletries were of a cheaper standard. The TV was not tuned and had limited channels.

I’ve stayed here before , I love This place but the gardens and access to the beach are definitely what made us come back only to surpass our expectations the bbq area was Gorgeous like something out of a movie with the bonfire and swinging chairs

Comfortable bed, nice pool, balcony and bbq. We didn’t like the damaged patio door lock, fly screen, patio table and no housekeeping, no shelves or hooks in bathroom, no oven or cookware as stated in Expedia King studio room description.

Check in was easy. They send me a text message the day of check in with all the information I needed for my stay. Great communication from hotel. The villa was clean and tidy. There is a restaurant on the premises, tennis court, swimming pools, gym and beach is a short walk away. Will stay here again.

Terrible experience. Didn’t feel comfortable even being inside. Dirty couch, dirty carpets, garbage at front door, dead cockroaches everywhere, where and tear everywhere. Not at all what is shown on their Expedia page.

Looked nice in the pictures but the unit was dirty with mould in the dishwasher, broken *everything*, ants all over the kitchen, and generally in incredibly poor repair. This was probably a really nice unit and report once, but I wouldn’t stay again and have been trying with no success to contact the company to discuss how unhappy I was with the quality. Nobody ever gets back to me.

Do not book here. Unit was filthy, smelled of cigarette smoke. Grime and unidentified matter on walls and cupboards. Mould on curtains. Long dark hairs on balcony floor. Jets in spa bath dirty. Windows and fly screen were dirty. Bathroom door in main room didn’t close properly. No communication on it, but the restaurant and bar is permanently closed. We were only staying one night and so didn’t complain on site. I should have. The fact that they have a policy that allows you to get a full refund within 30 minutes after check-in should have raised a flag. Contacted them afterwards and I was essentially dismissed as hadn’t called the after hours number to complain enough for them to try ‘fix’ it. I had a child and my elderly father in law and just didn’t feel like worth the bother for a single night.

The apartment’s hygiene was horrible, and actually not suitable for offering to guests. I had to mop the floors, the cutlery and dishwasher was filthy. the pillows smelled. The bathroom is obviously unclean and smelled of mould, when running the shower the steam would set the fire alarm off.

Property was dirty and need of maintenance. Bathrooms were again dirty especially the bathtub. There was no additional safety lock at the front door and made us feel very unsafe during night. TV was not working and no wifi facility. Forget about mobile reception! Not worth the money we paid!!!

This resort is in a great location, however it is in desperate need of refurbishment which brings down the rating. The cleanliness of the apartment was unsatisfactory, dead bugs, hair, crumbs, mould in the grout in bathroom's. There are no spare pillows, no blankets. Curtains are missing hooks, walls have water stains from the AC. The apartment itself was a spacious 2 bed 2 bathroom and had undercover parking which was appreciated. There is no dining options as the restaurant has closed. There is no reception desk, just communication via SMS, which fortunately had no issue's, but in my personal opinion i like check in and out with a real person at a desk. I have stayed here a few times, and like the location and views, but just wish management would give the rooms a refurbishment and teach their cleaners to clean better with more attention to detail.

It was a lovely view of the ocean. Walkable distance to the beach and you will be the only one at the beach most of the time. Room was clean and spacious. Upstairs had everything you need for your stay like TV, fridge, kettle, washer etc

The property is old but the room seemed to have been renovated. Small details like the bathroom door not closing properly in the main bedroom, curtains hanging off the rod, springs felt through sofa bed mattress, barely any crockery and no wifi.

2 bed apartment was 2 storey - not indicated. Not suitable for persons who have difficulty in climbing stairs. No access to reception - disgraceful. Response to sms re: wifi extremely slow. Too bad if this was needed in an emergency. No WiFi accessibility. Car space is impeded by greenery ie. hedges. Air conditioner in 2nd bedroom does not heat properly. Spa bath in ensuite - jets do not work… no bubbles. Shower head was pretty much like a dribble. No door on ensuite bathroom. Lock on sliding door in lounge room does not lock properly. Does not secure properly in door jam. Very loose. Fly screen on door broken. Only 5 sachets of sugar provided for an overnight stay for guests is not enough for evening and next morning. Otherwise very clean overall.

Amazing location, nice and quiet. The room i had Unfortunately had no privacy screen between the bathroom/toilet and bed and it was open, spa tap broken and sliding door to the outdoor balcony was very hard to open. Amazing private beach walk! No need to contact reception as everything was ready on arrival. Nice and cool with aircon and a comfortable bed.

The Property was in a good position with views of the ocean. the property needs some maintenance as there was a lot of wear and tear, things like the dishwasher hinge been broken, miss match cutlery and crockery and out of the 3 air conditioners there was only one that we could use as there was no remotes.

Spacious, quiet. The door to the balcony didn't lock. The spa bath didn't work. There was no door to the en suite. Check in/check out times are good, kitchen was great with everything you need and no problems during stay - so still a win for a short stay.

Great view. However there was no phone service and no instructions to connect to the wifi. The tv was a smart tv but wasn’t connected to the wifi so it only had free to air. No guest book and no front desk.

The room had mouldy grout, missing tiles in the bathroom, cracked fittings on the toilet and the sliding door on the master suite bathroom had been fitted with a barn door slider that didn’t allow the door to fully open or fully close. Both bathrooms also smelled like sewerage. Everything else was ok and the price was right but it was easy to see why it was cheap.

I have only rated on one aspect which was communication as we didn’t stay here. We had booked well in advance and they cancelled our accomodation a couple of hours before check-in, which left us in a bind on a long weekend. They claim an issue in the room out of their control, but we couldn’t confirm with them over the phone as they don’t answer the phone and only want to SMS. Considering we had to travel 3 hours to Coffs and it was a long weekend, it caused significant angst as we were already there. Luckily another resort were able to accomodate us. One positive is they refunded us quickly, but I wouldn’t choose to stay here in future.
I have only rated on one aspect which was communication as we didn’t stay here. We had booked well in advance and they cancelled our accomodation a couple of hours before check-in, which left us in a bind on a long weekend. They claim an issue in the room out of their control, but we couldn’t confirm with them over the phone as they don’t answer the phone and only want to SMS. Considering we had to travel 3 hours to Coffs and it was a long weekend, it caused significant angst as we were already there. Luckily another resort were able to accomodate us. One positive is they refunded us quickly, but I wouldn’t choose to stay here in future.

Where do I start with what we didn't like. Check in was a nightmare and no one would answer our calls . Had to email, finally got a text with required code an hour after arrival but no call back. Zero personal service. Room was small which was ok but the shower in the spa bath was too difficult and dangerous for either of us to use. Website showed a restaurant but this was long shut so there was no access to food . Terrible terrible terrible. Would give s zero if I could . Entire property looked tired and run down. Upper cupboard was coming away from the wall in our room . Would never recommend.

Upon arriving at the property the reception did not have staff present and a message on the window stated that we should have already received a text message with instructions for check-in. I had not received those instructions. The message also stated that if there were any issues I should text a number, but not call, as if I called I would incur a call out fee. I sent a text off and received a text in response advising me that as I had not paid for the property I would not be able to access my room. I responded and explained that I had paid via Wotif. I then received a phone call from a man employed by the property advising me that they did not take payment through Wotif and that I would have to pay again if I wanted to access the room. He also told me that he would organise a refund through Wotif for me. My booking was cancelled and I was travelling with a baby and a child. They tried to call me to take the payment, I made the payment 3 hours after the call using a payment link they sent me. As I hadn’t receive any communication regarding key collection I have them a call and was informed my booking had been cancelled. This was at 9:30pm and I had to find another accomodation. I still haven’t received my refund. The number available on the website is just an automated voicemail and the number I received a call from is a guy that keeps saying they will refund but I have not received any replies to any of my emails.

2 bed apartment was 2 storey - not indicated. Not suitable for persons who have difficulty in climbing stairs. No access to reception - disgraceful. Response to sms re: wifi extremely slow. Too bad if this was needed in an emergency. No WiFi accessibility. Car space is impeded by greenery ie. hedges. Air conditioner in 2nd bedroom does not heat properly. Spa bath in ensuite - jets do not work… no bubbles. Shower head was pretty much like a dribble. No door on ensuite bathroom. Lock on sliding door in lounge room does not lock properly. Does not secure properly in door jam. Very loose. Fly screen on door broken. Only 5 sachets of sugar provided for an overnight stay for guests is not enough for evening and next morning. Otherwise very clean overall.

Check in was easy. They send me a text message the day of check in with all the information I needed for my stay. Great communication from hotel. The villa was clean and tidy. There is a restaurant on the premises, tennis court, swimming pools, gym and beach is a short walk away. Will stay here again.

Aqualuna was a wonderful quiet escape - easy walk to the beach - almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. I was a bit thrown by the lack of reception - it can be nice when there is a face to face experience, part of the customer experience. Did appreciate the fact that it put a pleasant resort into our price range. thoroughly enjoyable stay.

I like that it had nice ocean views, to access the room was easy, key safe lock at door. The parking is under cover which is good but its a little narrow. Over all good for a night or 2 stay

Disappointing. Nice location and quiet. However, dirty mugs in the cupboard, doona and sheets had old blood stains, kitchen sink still had scraps of food in it, stove top still dirty, couch was old. Cupboards hanging off hinges and handles upside down. If you’re short, you can’t reach them. Bed was comfortable though. Lovely view of the water.

The Property was in a good position with views of the ocean. the property needs some maintenance as there was a lot of wear and tear, things like the dishwasher hinge been broken, miss match cutlery and crockery and out of the 3 air conditioners there was only one that we could use as there was no remotes.

Dated rooms that needed a good clean / paint, sliding screens that don’t slide with ripped flyscreens & broken and missing cutlery & glasses (definitely not enough for a family) closed restaurant and no close shopping / dining amenities.

Room not clean on arrival however staff rectified this straight away. The lounge was hard as a rock they had a wooden board under the cushion! The pictures of the apartment are very misleading as the overall condition is very run down. There was no plug for the spa bath. Also the advertised dining is closed and the games room does not exist.

We chose to stay here as there was photo's showing a bar and grill, we were coming for 2 nights and didn't want to have to come and go. There was absolutely no food options out there at all and at least 10 minutes from anywhere. They have gorgeous big spa's in the bedroom only you can't use them as spa's. I could go on, but there's only so much space. Would not recommend

Beautiful location with great pool, beautiful beach and excellent facilities within the complex. The properties we stayed in however are in need of proper cleaning and could do with proper up keep. Both properties are in need of a total re fit after years of use as holiday rentals (broken doors, missing doors, stained carpets mouldy bathrooms etc). The only saving grace these properties have going for them is the amazing location and the excellent complex in which they are situated. For the price, I would not recommend stating here unless significant improvements are made to the cleanliness and the overall condition of these properties.

Very disappointed..room was very dusty, spiderwebs, ants covered in bathroom & little cockroaches everywhere in kitchen draws, bathroom, cupboards even in fridge. Didn’t sleep much as worried of cockroaches crawling. Wasted my money!

Washing machine didnt work. No games room which is shown in photos online or onsite restaurant. Was like they have tried to renovate to make the property look better but has not been done very well. Got biten during the night by something while sleeping

Don’t do it. If I didn’t have two tired kids with me I would have just kept driving into the night. Dishes were dirty, mirror was dirty, male reproductive organ drawn on the shower door (so who knows how long since its been wiped down) spa bath jets had fallen off leaving just holes. Musty smell in entire apartment. Aircon was iffy, only sometimes worked. The sheets were piling and one of the beds was sandy… we had not been to the beach. To top it off there was a spider chilling on the bed. I should have read reviews before booking. Don’t know how this place scraped into 4 star rating on wotif.
