This cozy hotel is older but full of character. There is no elevator so be prepared for stairs. The staff did help with our bags and couldn't be more friendly. They were helpful with obtaining transportation and food and promptly took care of any concerns. The breakfast was good.

Veldig sjarmerende og unikt hotell. Rent og ryddig. Rolige omgivelser. Frokosten var litt simplere enn sammenlignbare hoteller. Det kan være et problem for noen gjester at hotellet mangler heis. Får du rom i 3. etasje er det mange trapper å gå.

This historic hotel has a century old vibe. You feel like you are visiting and only family home. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We were able to walk to the center/fismarket easily (20 mins), and the train station (10 mins). There are no elevators and the bedrooms are upstairs so pack lightly.

An elegant old building on the edge of the University district of town, but only about 10 minutes walk from several bars/restaurants. Staff very helpful - and there are free brownies in the breakfast room every evening!

Hotel precioso y muy limpio. Habitación en el edificio verde frente a la entrada del hotel y todo muy nuevo y limpio. Tienda cerca 7/11. Desayuno muy completo. Original que te ofrezcan un exquisito bizcocho de chocolate con bebida caliente a cualquier hora. La ubicación no es la mejor pq el hotel está situado en la parte alta de Bergen pero se tarda andando y con maletas unos 15 min desde la estación. Es un paseo hasta el puerto pero muy agradable

Mysigt och trevligt hotell. Läget i Bergen är inte helt centralt, men fullt möjligt att gå in till centrum. Bodde i annexbyggnaden, vilket var helt okej - den ligger precis över gatan från det egentliga hotellet. Frukostbuffén var god, men ganska trångt uppdukad. Fönstret i rummet saknade handtag och gick därför inte att stänga helt. Låg också ett antal säckar med smutstvätt i entrén på annexet hela första natten - det kunde gott ha plockats undan.

I sought this hotel due to it's high rating on Hotels.com, however I found it very disappointing for the following: I was not in the main hotel, but over the road which felt dated and the hallway was dingy and not pleasant at all. Breakfast was meagre, with limited choice and only Scrambled eggs being the only cooked option. Bed had no Bedhead, which I find annoying as the pillows fell down the back of the bed. Bedding was low quality and the bed sheet kept coming untooked. Towels were low quality, thin and small. I was on the Ground Floor and my room looked out on to the street at street level. 2 slats on my blinds were broken so there was a gap which would mean that in the evening if I had the lights on people could look into the room. I raised this with reception, but this was not addressed. For the price which is not cheap I would not recommend this hotel. Parking is a long way from the Hotel and they do not provide umbrellas. I stay for business in Norway and this is not the usual standard I get.

Designer look but friendly and feels like a comfortable home. Interesting antiques throughout. It felt like a place I could live. I’ve stayed in all types of accomodation in my life from Ritz to hostel, and this is close to the best.

Perfectly situated in an older area of Bergen surrounded by beautiful architecture, a park and an incredible view of the city. Easy walk to the wharf, shopping, dining. Everything. Incredible breakfasts in the quaintest of dining areas. Very friendly and helpful staff. Like most other hotels in Bergen, no air conditioning, but that didn’t prove an issue. Hotel is old and has its worn areas but that’s part of its charm. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Veldig hyggelig, lite hotell. Nydelig rom med utsikt! Deilig frokost. Ikke bacon, men hjemmelagd eggerøre, rørt syltetøy og nydelig hjemmelagd granola. Deilig smoothie. - Kaffe og brownies er gratis og tilgjengelig hele dagen.

Lovely small hotel a short distance away from Bergen’s busy waterfront. It was an easy walk into town and to the train station and charming restaurants. I would highly recommend it.

The hotel is in an older, attractive building right next to a good-sized city park. That made for a good walk. It is in the University district. We weren't there on academic business but the area made for another good walk through some very atmospheric buildings, with views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel is a few minutes' walk to the Storsenter (shopping center), the performance hall, the art museums and downtown shopping and restaurants. All this is downhill--which means uphill on the return but the walks are short. The hotel is decorated with interesting artwork and rugs so it has an individual and inviting feeling. The breakfast area is attractive and cozy. There was an excellent variety of breakfast items. There is no elevator, no problem for us but maybe for some.

This property was very good. It is close to the train station (up a hill - but everything in Bergen is up or down a hill). The morning breakfast was included and was excellent. Rooms were clean, staff were very helpful. An walk to everything. Not many restaurants close to the hotel but many great restaurants in a 10-15 min walk. The natural history museum and gardens is only a 5-10 min walk. Overall would recommend.

Frokostmenyen var bra, særlig den hjemmelagde granolen vil jeg fremheve. Matvarebutikk 5 min. unna å gå. Forøvrig sentralt, men likevel stille. 10-15 min. å gå til sentrum. 5-10 min. gange til bybanen.

It is very cosy hotel in 100+ year old building. No elevators. Very clean. Rooms good, no complains, location is great: by the 'english park' of Bergen and in the University campus area. Love there is a fridge in the rooms for my beer.

Truly a Norwegian experience. Nice breakfast buffet. 10 minute walk into centre of town. Close to train station and tram. Good size rooms and comfortable beds.

Nice property in a historic building. Super helpful staff and a good if not amazing breakfast. Decent bed and bathroom. It is at the top of a pretty steep hill and we got our exercise walking to and from it. It's about an 8 minute (uphill) walk from the central station and maybe 10-12 back down to the harbor. I'd stay there again.

Charming historic cozy hotel, just outside beautiful Nygårdsparken and an easy walk to the train station and several nice restaurants nearby. Also an easy walk to the city center. Excellent attention to detail, with afternoon brownies and coffee/tea, and a well-appointed and delicious breakfast, early enough for those with early morning travel plans. Staff are delightful and friendly. Can't recommend this memorable historic family-owned hotel highly enough!

Veldig sjarmerende og unikt hotell. Rent og ryddig. Rolige omgivelser. Frokosten var litt simplere enn sammenlignbare hoteller. Det kan være et problem for noen gjester at hotellet mangler heis. Får du rom i 3. etasje er det mange trapper å gå.

Had a great stay at the Park Bergen hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the interior had a cozy, charming feel. Loved the little touches—especially the homemade granola and brownies. Overall, a really pleasant experience. Would definitely stay again!

Yderst velholdt ældre hotel med sjæl og charme - uden at komforten er sat over styr.(dog ingen hejs) Vi blev modtaget med eftermiddagskaffe og lækker nybagt brownie. Og blev indlogeret i stort rum - velrenoveret uden at charmen er sat over styr. Bedste dyne på vores 18 dage lange hotelferie. Kaffe-og tefaciliteter på rummet. Morgenmaden OK.

This felt like a bait snd switch. I booked two nights at a beautiful historical hotel only to be told at checkin that I'd be staying in a much less impressive building across the street. I wish this had been made clear when I booked the reservation.

I think I stayed in the smallest room in my life! Each time I took a shower, the entire bathroom would end up wet. The breakfast was good, although the small dining area was a bit crowded. The walk up the hill was good for the glutes. The staff, calm, friendly, and helpful. A decent stay, I suppose.
